Bell Mag 9 Helmet Looks like the size runs Smaller that the size chart

I purchased this to replace an older Bell Mag 9 in large. The new helmet is a large, but I cannot get my head into this one it is so much smaller than my original Mag 9. Also the original Mag 9 was very noisy on the road. This one is going back and I will try a different brand
