Just what I needed

This jacket is perfect for what I needed. Heavy enough to keep you warm on the 50 degree evenings but ventilated enough on the 75 degree days. Fit is great. I went a size bigger incase I needed a hoodie under it. Highly recommend.

Better than a light jacket!

Perfect replacement for a light jacket. Quality materials. Plenty of pockets. CCW pockets on both sides. Removable shoulder and elbow protection. PERFECT!!!

Light weight

The shirt is fairly thin, not as thick as an avg flannel which is ok with me, I did not want another super thick riding jacket, this would be fine for warmer days, got the black brown white, came with shoulder and elbow armor has snap down collar and a zip/snap front, only complaint is the shoulder armor makes you look like a lurch so I took it out, I kept the elbow armor and added a icon d3o back protector but you've got to trim to make it fit I have a 46 measured chest and got an xl and fits fine

As advertised and comfortable, Can we please stop mkting 'conceal carry pockets'

I think this shirt is great, it's comfortable, not too bulky, tons of pockets. The lining is comfortable enough, the armor discrete, and the gussets on the shoulders and zip-vents under the arms are nice touches. I like having lots of pockets, (even if headphone cord-management holes are pretty outdated). I like the look and the fit, and I expect I'll be wearing it for a long time.

This isn't really relevant unless you think you'll be a badass if your jacket says it can carry guns:
'Concealed Carry' pockets are really dumb on baggy outerwear.
I did not purchase this shirt for concealed carry, because anyone with an ounce of common sense will tell you: You can't 'secure' a firearm to a loose hanging sheet of fabric near your ribs by adding elastic loops.

1) The pockets open straight to the front, and are sealed only with two snaps each, meaning that they must be fastened or risk something heavier falling out while leaning forward, as one might on a sport bike. (I leaned forward and my mp3 player fell out)
2) The Elastic loops are set up so that a firearm would only fit through them if the barrel were pointing straight down. The pockets, however, open to the front. Even if the shirt were to be held tight against your armpit, there is no way to draw a weapon smoothly as it must awkwardly clear the loop, then turn more than 90 degrees and come out the front of the shirt. And that's with a subcompact. Just because there is an inside pocket does not mean that it has anything in common with a shoulder holster.
3) These pockets are located below the breast pocket within the shirt, putting them at rib level. The shirt is not tailored for a close fit to the body, and could not be readily secured to the body anyway, which means that anything in these pockets just sticks out around your ribs, or if it's heavy or sharp, against them.

Your gun would print very badly, swing freely from the shoulder midway down your torso (just above the inside of the elbow) and otherwise make for a really uncomfortable and awkward wear... and that is with a sub-compact. A full sized pistol would be comically unpleasant, visible, and in the way. Keep your gun in your waistband, near your hips, or in a dedicated shoulder rig and wear this affordable, slightly armored and reinforced shirt for the utility, weight, and comfort it affords.

Great Jacket but not for big or tall guys

I wear a 4x and I bought the 5x just in case they ran small, and it fit me like a 3x. Too tight and short. I'd give it a 5 star if it fit. Now I gotta return and I am out like 12 bucks 2 weeks of wasted time. If you're a small or skinny definitely recommend if you're a big guy look else where.

Not empress at all

for the pockets all 3 stars other than that fabric is very thin and armor is low quality and very questionable on the protection aspect and I am not really sure where is Kevlar.

Great shirt

Futs great and love the built in zipper vents. Protection is important
