I have had some experience with Milwaukee Leather products and knew that the quality of their products was high and this jacket is no exception. The jacket is heavy and feels strong , as, it is made of heavy duty cowhide. Everything about this jacket speaks of the craftsmanship that went into making it. I love it!
As to the fit and size, they run a little small. I have a 47.5 inch chest and had to order a 2XL (51') jacket. This size fits comfortably over a sweater or fleece pullover.

I started riding a Harley this year for the first time. Of course, I started riding in August. So all of my gear was designed to allow maximum airflow in due to the Texas summer heat. It finally cooled down dramatically and I experienced my first cold ride about a month ago. I immediately started looking for cold riding gear. I googled best leather jackets and this one was on several top ten lists. The quality of this jacket is absolutely top notch. I heard about the thermal lining tearing in another review, so I was just very gentle when taking it out and putting it back in. Just be gentle and it won't tear. That is an amazing feature. I took the lining out during the day when it was 74 degrees outside and brought the lining with me. When I rode home, it was 55 degrees outside and I just put the thermal lining back in the jacket before I headed home. My entire upper body was completely warm the entire ride back home. I could not be any happier with this jacket and it is my very first leather jacket I've ever had. I am 6' 1' 245lbs and ordered the 2X. It fits absolutely perfect and looks amazing. 5 STARS!

The leather coat is great! Made well, shipped on time. We've had problems in the past with Leatherup with having items in stock but not this time.
I bought a 4x for my husband bc he needed the width around the waist. I fit him perfectly. We did take it to a tailor to shorten the sleeves but it was well worth it bc the jacket is a very good one.

I love this brand, leather type and fit. It's always hard to order online, but used the measurement chart and chose a medium. It fit to size almost perfectly with a little moving room. I am 6'-6'1 about 195lbs. Great quality leather for riding and daily use if you want. Would buy two but this one will last me probably the next 10+ years. Also grab the Joe rocket brown leather gloves and fabric, fits great- same sIze as mechanics style gloves.

I bought this jacket and love the look and fit. It was a great deal at an affordable price.

Overall, I like this jacket. Lots of vents and pockets, nice leather (especially for the price), fits pretty well, especially with armor underneath or in the provided pockets. Sleeve snaps for inner lining tore out first time used, which was disappointing. And, wish it had a back protector pocket. But, I like the jacket and expect to use it a lot!

Had my previous leather jacket for 20 years. Finally grew out of it and needed a bigger size. Very satisfied with this purchase. Fair price, fast service.

I really like it, some things I would change if I could would be.
1.) Reduce zipper handle size and sharp edges, give them a grippy rubber coating.
2.) Make the two front hand pockets larger and still include the zip closure.
