Comfortable Right Out of the Box

This jacket is thick but soft. It fits very comfortably and allows for free movement without any break-in process. I followed the size chart for my chest measurement, and the jacket fit perfectly. The jacket does not have armor or pockets for armor.
That's fine with me because it is thick enough to provide adequate impact and abrasion resistance IMO. I'll have to wear it for a few riding seasons to know for certain, but this may turn out to be my favorite leather jacket of all time.

Been eyeing for a while and went for it

This just arrived today (1-Jun-2021), so I haven't ridden with it yet, FYI. Happily, it's darker and more rich than what the photos show. It fits well (based on the sizing chart I ordered a medium. I am 6' 0' and an athletic 190: 33' waist) with room for thick flannels in the fall. It is a 'cruiser' jacket, so it's a bit more roomy in the midsection than a cafe style jacket. The conceal pockets, one on each side, are HUGE. I can easily put my full sized 1911 in there if I wanted to. Zippers are good and heavy duty and run well, as you'd expect from YYK. Leather seemed a bit 'plasticy' when I pulled it out of the box which had me worried, but I laid it out in the sun for 30 min and applied a healthy application of mink oil. The leather drank it up and it's like a different jacket. Color darkened, as expected, and came to life. I'll prob do another application in a few weeks. If I am being critical I'll take issue with the main external pockets. They are very small due to the vent zippers that run the length of the front of the jacket. There is a lot of storage in side, which is cool, but at the sacrifice of those exterior hand pockets. They are about 3/4 of what you'd expect. I can get my hand in there, but it's snug. Leather on the sleeves is a bit thinner than I'd like, but for $171.00 (what I paid with Memorial Day coupon), this jacket is a steal. Liner comes in and out easy enough. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 due to size of hand pockets and leather being a bit thinner than I'd like on the sleeves and the interior liner that the removeable liner attaches to seems very thin. I expect that to show wear and start to rip before anything else. But those are really small issues. Seems like a great jacket overall. Having applied mink oil to every inch the stitching all looks solid and leather is nice.

Love it. I bought one

Love it. I bought one in black two years ago but after a bit of a weight gain I needed an XL size so this is My second purchase of this jacket. Decided to get the brown one this time to match the bags on My bike. Awesome jacket !!
Fits perfect . The color is solid and even all over. Quality is perfect .
