Vest is a high quality piece of leather apparel. I was a bit apprehensive ordering off the net without actually trying it on first. Ordered size per instructions given after measuring my chest size. My measurement was between size ranges on chart. Ordered the size higher on the range. Fits very well.
The only thing that needs some serious attention is the elastic band to hold your firearm in the concealed carry part of the vest. I carry a Colt 45 model 1911 and over time I can see where the elastic is going to stretch out of shape making it virtually useless. Also you cannot remove the firearm quickly because the front sight wants to snag on the elastic band. Not sure what would be a good design improvement that could be built into the vest. But considering the quality of the design of the vest overall, I'm sure Leather-up could come up with a better solution. Maybe leather holster options for your specific firearm that could be securely fitted/fastened in the conceal carry compartment.
