Michael C. from WINDSOR, SC:
The bags were absolutely amazing! I had to modify the strap that you throw over, but that is only because i have a small Honda 250. Each bag is large enough to hold a good size Watermelon. However, if you wish to hold many items such as boots, warm waterproof pants, and a jacket you may have a little trouble. it does have a draw string in it for such situation.

A decent bag, made better by the price. I ordered a set of brackets for these but you really don't need em so I'll keep the brackets when I trade up. All you have to do is throw over and attach the loop around your passenger peg and cinch down. I watched a video another company made. Theres 2 straps so you can reverse the bags if you have a passenger.

How can you go wrong? I have an '07 softtail Deluxe. I had to get saddle bag brackets to keep them from hitting the wheel and rotor (ebay $25.00). Then I couldn't get my fender bolts off, so I had to pay the dealer (80.00) to put them on. Even with that, it still beats $800.00 for Harley bags. Thanks, Leatherup!

Good bags but disappointed with the quality. I've owned the bags for a month now and my stitching is already ripping on the inside of my bags. Disappointed

Kim L G. from TAMPA, FL:
Product is well made and looks good in a modern sort of way. Definitely not traditional leather look. Pretty good capacity. They are a little too wide to look good on the Buell Blast I bought them for, but they look just right on my Honda VF45 metric cruiser. If I were going on a trip on the Buell and needed the capacity they would be ok - they are a good fit, but since I ride around with the bags mostly empty except when I need to carry something , they look a little fat for the Buell.

Great bags for the money. Kept my items dry during a drenching ride. Only set back is that the lining got torn from all the opening and closing. I uses these everyday so they do hold up.

these are great the inner draw string lining allowes you to over fill the saddlebag whithout fear of loss the snap buckle mounting straps allow quickremoval of the bags suggestion sew the buckle end of the mounting straps to the motorcycle to prevent loss when bag is removed or accidentally unbuckled

Good looking, practical, sturdy, weatherproof bags with zipper removal for under fifty bucks... you got to be kidding!!! Tie-downs on the bottom would have been nice but... hey.

Kevin A. from CAPE MAY CH, NJ:
These bags were a perfect fit for my 750 Vulcan. I wanted a truely rainproof set of bags and that is what these provide. Mounting was fairly easy and they are stiff enough to not require mounting brackets. Easy in and out access saves time. Bonus was that the colors, black with gray trim, matched my tank and frame colors.

Great set of bags!!! I love them. Only problem is tying them down. The throw over feature is great, that part fits well. I have them tied to my passenger pegs and shocks, but its not a great fit. I have a 2006 883R, looks sharp. The bags are a good size, but not huge on my bike. Looks like it was made for my bike. I love it!!! Now if I could just really secure it down it would be perfect!!!

Great price and good size. I put these on a Kawasaki Vulcan 500. Nice look. They kinda want a rack behind them but will work without. They don't lay just right but are functional. They do have a great liner feature and the velcro top is easy and secure. Comes with rain covers for each bag. For the price.... I would definately re-buy these.

Overall quality of this is very good for the money, you simply cannot beat the prices here. I put these on a 2004 VROD and the fit is perfect, you will need some sort of bracket to keep them off the wheel and brake but that was easy to fabricate.

Great bags....Well built... Holds exactly what I need. I do wish there was a tie down on the bottom to go with the two side tie downs. I did end up adding one... Great Simple Bags!!

bruce k. from LONGMONT, CO:
I really like the bags size and design and you can't beat the price!!!!. I had to do a little redesign on the straps to make them look a little better. I know how to use a sewing machine so that was no problem. Also bought some snaps for the forward hold downs straps and again that was no problem. Instead of using the lacing on top I used small 10/32 screws and nuts for a more perfect fit. Again this was not a big problem and I would have had the same problems with any other bags. For the little money I spent and the little time it took to install them ( I enjoy this kind of work) I would highly recommed them to anyone. I think they look great on my bike.

Woonderful!! Out f-ing-standing! Very good fit to my '07 HD Sportster. Ties down on the rear foot pegs and the lower shock abs. Can be placed either over or under the seat. I just throw them over the seat for quicker removal. Exceptionally good quality and value - better than leather bags. Velcro closures work great. In summary: 10-stars.

William M. from SHIPPENSBURG, PA:
I've only ridden several times since the installation of the new bags, but I'm impressed so far. I had minor issues with the lack of instructions for tieing them down, but I figured it out. If the lack of instructions contribute to the low cost, then I'm all for using my head instead of my wallet. BTW, I slightly modified the tie-downs and they do what they were intended to do. Hold the bags against the back braces. To me a 5 star rating means that there is no room for improvement and there is always room for improvement, hence the 4 star rating. I'd buy more of the Xelement branded products.

Excellent bags for the price. I bought these because I already have an xelement riding jacket and was hoping these were the same quality. They were!!! As always I am happy with the products and the great service from leatherup.com. I will be back again.

had a little trouble deciding just how to install on my Dyna Street Bob. Did not want to lay directly on paint - but I have previously installed a luggage rack - and putting the saddle-bag over the luggage rack works great! Large enough to hold a few grocery store items - small enough to not be in the way
