John F. from La Marque, TX:
These are a real nice pair of gloves. I was needing large but they were sold out. Instead I took a chance and ordered the medium pair for the crazy low price. They fit good but I do wish they were one size bigger. The look is classic and the material is soft yet durable. It's a nice feature to have the rain mittens stored inside each of the cuffs.

I ordered due to the price and color and was very pleased with what I received. The gloves fit perfectly, I purchased L and generally wear a M/L so they run a bit small. I could not be more pleased.

Great gloves for the price. I like them because I wear a brown Motorcycle jacket. A little tight to get on. I think an XL would have been a better fit although I am usually a large.

Scott M. from Hixson, TN:
These seem like a great glove for the price. They should be plenty warm for any riding I do this winter in TN. I'm not going to be out there if it's under about 40, though. They were not overly hot on a 75 degree day either. I'm satisfied. The leather seems a little thin, but for this price I can't complain. I also wish the gauntlets were larger--the cuffs of my jacket are kind of hard to keep inside. A note about size: I usually wear a large, but in a given glove sometimes medium feels better. I read that these run small so I was tempted to go XL, but didn't. When I first put them on I thought...oops, these are going to be too tight. After wearing them about 150 miles, they are perfect. I would say order the size you normally do and be prepared to break them in.

Great gloves at a super low price, but they do tend to run a little small so order a size larger than normal. Overall I could not be happier and I will be ordering more!!!!

Nice gloves! I bought size large, which was a perfict fit for me, I'm a female with long fingers. My guy friend, who has small man hands found them to be to small for him. They are sized very small for mens gloves. Love the rain covers that come in the handy pocket. Great deal for some warm comfortable leather gloves.

The size is on the small size, I ordered 2XL and they should fit fine but they are so small I can not get them on without a struggle. Maybe wearing them this fall will help loosen them up, not sure of the durability yet ... I like the color and the style just wished they offered a 3XL.

No draf up the sleeve, I read the ratings and went with a size larger..,, I find it to be a little tight for what I like should have went 2 sizes larger but I like them, they would be even better if it had a grip coating on the palms but you can't really beat the cost / list price of around $70 on sale for $20 !! And got free shipping with an additional item saddle bags., and the bags are nice to.. But {Go with 2 sizes bigger}

Got me with the "retro" label! That's me,old as dirt. Look great with my retro brown speedster jacket and retro brown chaps from LeatherUp. Fit good too. Use the reviews, size up. Have had them since Feb.'14 and ridden on a few days in the low forties. Kept my hands warm, even when I let'er rip. Sometimes I just need the speed to clear my head ya know.

I measured my palm for fit and ordered the suggested size which turned out to be one size too small. The exchange was easy & the next pair fit perfectly. The gloves are exactly as advertised & very comfortable. I would certainly recommend them. Looking at other reviews size appears to be a common issue. Just order a size larger than you normally would & you'll be happy with your purchase. Great gloves for the price!

Good gloves for the price, although not quite as warm as expected. I normally wear a size medium and got large, but wish that I'd gotten X-large. Definitely consider ordering two sizes up! All in all, no regrets in purchasing them.

Use the Sizing Chart... it was accurate for me, as the gloves fit perfectly. They feel like an extension of my hand and there is no sloppiness/gap between skin and leather when using the bike controls. A confident buy for me.

The look and fit great, but not nearly as warm as I thought they'd be. I have a pair of Thinsulate gloves that are much warmer. I'll keep the leather gloves and wear them until the temperature goes below 55, then the Thinsulate gloves come out.

Mark E. from TECUMSEH, KS:
Nice looking glove, with a great look to it. that said. I normaly get a Med-Large glove so I ordered a Large. I could not get both glove on. I was able to get one glove on but could not squeeze into the other one. I have returned them for an XL but I am concerned that the fingers will be too long. I found them tight at the wrists which kind of defeats the purpose of a "gauntlet" style glove, as it did not fit over my jacket sleeve. They also have a little hook that conects the gloves together, very cheep and was broken in the package. Not that I was planing on using the hook, but still. The little outer pockets contain the rain mittens. I normaly use a pair of short "Raid or pat down" gloves when riding but thought I could use these for the colder weather and got them in brown to match the jacket that I had ordered.

As everyone else said - order a size larger. They are very well made. They are a perfect match for my Xelement Men's Retro Brown Bandit Buffalo Leather Cruiser Motorcycle Jacket with Level-3 Armor. They did not keep my hands as warm as I thought, but my hands are exposed directly to the wind. Maybe I was expecting too much, since the jacket is so great at keeping me warm.

Love the look and the fit, true to size, snug fit. Took a ride in the low 40's and noticed fingers feeling the cold after the first hour, not bad considering the temp dropping. The gauntlets fit snug over the jacket's sleeve, no breeze up the arms, easily work levers and switches.

Maurizio P. from ROMA, RM:
Bought these gloves and sized them following directions. CAUTION! Sizing directions do NOT match the picture shown! Unfortunately, the "Medium" size which resulted from the sizing directions produced an overtight, undersize glòove which I will pass on to my wife. The gloves seem OK but I could not even try them on because of their being so tight. I will not buy another pair of gloves because of the expensive overseas shipping fees and customs fees which I will have to pay this side of the ocean. Too bad.

The only reason I did not rate these 5 stars is that they're not particularly warm. They seem to be well made and I did order one size larger so they fit well. It will take some time to break them in. Delivery time was quick. Overall a pretty good deal.

Trevor B. from Wyomissing, PA:
First pair of riding gloves I bought. They keep my hands warm for a decent ride when its chilly out. I bought a pair of XL and they fit.. well.. like a glove! They are comfy and stylish. I just ordered a vintage brown riding jacket, I am glad to know from others that these match. Other than strapping into my helmet, I can do pretty much anything in these. They start off stiff, of course. After about 1 season they were soft and flexible.

Keith T. from Rockvale, TN:
I'm not thrilled with these gloves. They were priced very low, but the quality follows the price. The leather is very thin- not at all like the high quality leather x element jeans I have purchased over the years. The outer hand part is made of of small pieces of leather stitched together and the seams don't even seem to be double-stitched. The leather itself is much thinner than my other gloves. I have little confidence these gloves would hold up against the pavement. They also are very slippery so that it is difficult to take them off when both hands are gloved. I've had to use my teeth to pull them off because I can't get a good grip on one glove when the gripping hand also is gloved. The sizing does seem a bit small. I've tended to get XL in other gloves and they fit me a little loosely, which I prefer. I got XL in these gloves since the sizing chart said I needed a small but all the comments have talked about the need to order a size larger. The XLs fit me fine, though as I said I normall prefer a glove that is a little looser than these. Maybe the thin leather makes them more flexible and therefore more comfortable (but less protective).

Ordered XL, usually wear large, after reading others reviews. Gloves fit snug, almost could have used XXL. Kept hands warm for 1 hour ride at 40 degrees. perfectmatch for the Retro Brown jacket I ordered. Excellent deal, have reccomended Leatherup to friends, who have also been satisfied! Definitely outshone the plain gloves I looked at in the Harley shop for $90 that weren't even insulated.

For the price, these gloves cannot be beat! I have gloves that cost considerably more and are not any more comfortable. These gloves are padded just the right amount to keep your hands warm in cool weather. The fit is just right, and the comfort level, with hands on the grips, is outstanding. As far as durability; only time will tell.

Gloves are well maid, very flexable and good looks. Feel to the grips is good considering the insulation weight. I ride 50 miles a day in 25 to 50 degree weather, gloves are comfortable. You need to order one to two sizes larger than what you wear. IF your hands are measure at the max of minimum -maximum for glove size order two sizes larger. They will fit perfect. You don't want tight fitting gloves for cold weather wear. Great gloves and Leatherup has great service and price. FWD Yuma Az

Love these gloves, keeps my hand warm when the weather is cold. I wish they made a regular leather gloves and fingerless gloves in the Retro Brown for the not so cold weather. I have already purchased the leather coat, vest, and chaps in this Retro Brown, now I just need regular and fingerless gloves to match.

Ryan P. from ESCONDIDO, CA:
Gave this one a 3 star rating only because of the design flaw I discovered upon arrival. Despite having ordered the 2XL size in these gloves, they are not quite wide enough for my hands, and when I fully open my palm the material pulls tight between the pink finger and thumb (across the palm) so that I cannot make my palm flat. Otherwise, these are a good product, and I bought them to go with the brown vest, jacket, and chaps I also ordered. The leather is a little dry out of the box, but would probably rebound right away with some glove oil. They come with a nylon rain shield which tucks away into the zippered pouch on the cuff of each glove (visible in the photos), which was an added benefit.

Very good glove, but I would order a size or two up. I wear a med. so I ordered a large and they fit quite snug I would have to get a X-Lg if I wanted to wear a thin liner. I ride in temps of 30 deg. and some times as low as 24 deg, not counting the wind chill factor @ riding 65mph for 30 to 45 min. and they've kept my in good shape
