Kevin Cunningham from Upper Marlboro, MD:
Purchased end of Sept and on 1st use these gloves did an excellent job keeping my hands warm on a 5 day, 2500 mile trip in Oct 2016. Temps ranging from mid 40-50 deg. However, with the temps down into the 30s and riding for several hours the cold did penetrate and had to use the heated gloves, but these did an superb job with warmth... Fit was right on. My only issue is with quality/durability as the glove began to split at the "V" of each finger. The leather is not the heavy cowhide that I'm use to from LU. It may just be the pair I have but the leather is a softer leather which also makes them a little slippery on the grips. Meaning you have to grip the throttle tighter. I put my hand on my thigh when riding and it slipped off each time, not traction. These are a great price and the micro fleece lining feels wonderful, but durability is lacking with my pair...

I'm between the large and extra large. So I went with the large. finger lenth is good, but being new they were tight. After using a few time they loosened up and are fine.

william k. from Gurley, AL:
I didn't like these gloves. I've had them now for about 3 years and I still wear them occasionally but they're just not my favorite pair of gloves. I mean, you can't beat the price. But you do have to get enough utility out of them to use them habitually and that's just not the case for me. First they were too small and it's my fault for not returning them for that reason. I guess the hassle wasn't worth the money spent. Not that LeatherUp is a hassle for returns. On the contrary, they're very easy to deal with. Would that all retailers were as willing to help!!! But they're small and I Didn't return them. Then I'd worn them too long to think about returning them and I'd realized that the leather finish...the "Retro" look...made them slick against my handle bar grips. I had to really grasp the throttle very firmly to ensure that it turned when I rotated my wrist. My hand got tired. I tried leather treatment but that didn't help. But the slick finish didn't help with waterproofing...they're leather and they just soak up water like a chamois wipe. And the seams are air leaks so your hands get cold below, like 60 degrees. One of the few items I've bought from LeatherUp that didn't meet expectations. Sometimes you get the bear... but sometimes the bear gets you. Whatchagonnado?

James L. from CLINTON, WA:
Great gloves for the price. The 'measurement across the palm' sizing method-- 3 7/8--indicating a L, caused more confusion and error than help. I usually buy XL gloves with L being too tight. Based on other comments I ordered XXL. They take some pull to get on but are roomy enough when on not to constrict blood supply yet tight enoigh they prefer not to fall off. Soft leather, good looking. I suppose the rain mitten might be useful some time but not often enough to be of use. Instead the gloves would be better replacing the little pocket with a wrist band with velcro closure

I ORDERED A SIZE LARGER THAN XL GOT AN XXL. THEY ARE A BIT TIGHT BUT BEING LEATHER THEY WILL CONFORM. THEY HAVE MORE INSULATION THAN I WANTED, THEY WILL BE GOOD FOR THE COLD BUT TOO WARM FOR COOL RIDING AS ALWAYS, QUICK DELIVERY AND GREAT PRICES!

Normally, large gloves are way too big for my hands so I ordered medium. I can barely squeeze my hands into these, they feel 2 sizes too small. Otherwise, the quality and looks are great.

These are a real nice pair of gloves. I was needing large but they were sold out. Instead I took a chance and ordered the medium pair for the crazy low price. They fit good but I do wish they were one size bigger. The look is classic and the material is soft yet durable. It's a nice feature to have the rain mittens stored inside each of the cuffs.

I ordered due to the price and color and was very pleased with what I received. The gloves fit perfectly, I purchased L and generally wear a M/L so they run a bit small. I could not be more pleased.

Great gloves for the price. I like them because I wear a brown Motorcycle jacket. A little tight to get on. I think an XL would have been a better fit although I am usually a large.

Scott M. from Hixson, TN:
These seem like a great glove for the price. They should be plenty warm for any riding I do this winter in TN. I'm not going to be out there if it's under about 40, though. They were not overly hot on a 75 degree day either. I'm satisfied. The leather seems a little thin, but for this price I can't complain. I also wish the gauntlets were larger--the cuffs of my jacket are kind of hard to keep inside. A note about size: I usually wear a large, but in a given glove sometimes medium feels better. I read that these run small so I was tempted to go XL, but didn't. When I first put them on I thought...oops, these are going to be too tight. After wearing them about 150 miles, they are perfect. I would say order the size you normally do and be prepared to break them in.

Nice gloves! I bought size large, which was a perfict fit for me, I'm a female with long fingers. My guy friend, who has small man hands found them to be to small for him. They are sized very small for mens gloves. Love the rain covers that come in the handy pocket. Great deal for some warm comfortable leather gloves.

The size is on the small size, I ordered 2XL and they should fit fine but they are so small I can not get them on without a struggle. Maybe wearing them this fall will help loosen them up, not sure of the durability yet ... I like the color and the style just wished they offered a 3XL.

No draf up the sleeve, I read the ratings and went with a size larger..,, I find it to be a little tight for what I like should have went 2 sizes larger but I like them, they would be even better if it had a grip coating on the palms but you can't really beat the cost / list price of around $70 on sale for $20 !! And got free shipping with an additional item saddle bags., and the bags are nice to.. But {Go with 2 sizes bigger}

Got me with the "retro" label! That's me,old as dirt. Look great with my retro brown speedster jacket and retro brown chaps from LeatherUp. Fit good too. Use the reviews, size up. Have had them since Feb.'14 and ridden on a few days in the low forties. Kept my hands warm, even when I let'er rip. Sometimes I just need the speed to clear my head ya know.

I measured my palm for fit and ordered the suggested size which turned out to be one size too small. The exchange was easy & the next pair fit perfectly. The gloves are exactly as advertised & very comfortable. I would certainly recommend them. Looking at other reviews size appears to be a common issue. Just order a size larger than you normally would & you'll be happy with your purchase. Great gloves for the price!

Good gloves for the price, although not quite as warm as expected. I normally wear a size medium and got large, but wish that I'd gotten X-large. Definitely consider ordering two sizes up! All in all, no regrets in purchasing them.

Use the Sizing Chart... it was accurate for me, as the gloves fit perfectly. They feel like an extension of my hand and there is no sloppiness/gap between skin and leather when using the bike controls. A confident buy for me.

The look and fit great, but not nearly as warm as I thought they'd be. I have a pair of Thinsulate gloves that are much warmer. I'll keep the leather gloves and wear them until the temperature goes below 55, then the Thinsulate gloves come out.

Mark E. from TECUMSEH, KS:
Nice looking glove, with a great look to it. that said. I normaly get a Med-Large glove so I ordered a Large. I could not get both glove on. I was able to get one glove on but could not squeeze into the other one. I have returned them for an XL but I am concerned that the fingers will be too long. I found them tight at the wrists which kind of defeats the purpose of a "gauntlet" style glove, as it did not fit over my jacket sleeve. They also have a little hook that conects the gloves together, very cheep and was broken in the package. Not that I was planing on using the hook, but still. The little outer pockets contain the rain mittens. I normaly use a pair of short "Raid or pat down" gloves when riding but thought I could use these for the colder weather and got them in brown to match the jacket that I had ordered.

As everyone else said - order a size larger. They are very well made. They are a perfect match for my Xelement Men's Retro Brown Bandit Buffalo Leather Cruiser Motorcycle Jacket with Level-3 Armor. They did not keep my hands as warm as I thought, but my hands are exposed directly to the wind. Maybe I was expecting too much, since the jacket is so great at keeping me warm.

Love the look and the fit, true to size, snug fit. Took a ride in the low 40's and noticed fingers feeling the cold after the first hour, not bad considering the temp dropping. The gauntlets fit snug over the jacket's sleeve, no breeze up the arms, easily work levers and switches.

Maurizio P. from ROMA, RM:
Bought these gloves and sized them following directions. CAUTION! Sizing directions do NOT match the picture shown! Unfortunately, the "Medium" size which resulted from the sizing directions produced an overtight, undersize glòove which I will pass on to my wife. The gloves seem OK but I could not even try them on because of their being so tight. I will not buy another pair of gloves because of the expensive overseas shipping fees and customs fees which I will have to pay this side of the ocean. Too bad.
