Don C. from Rome, GA:
Amazing Value! Well constructed from top quality materials, this rain suit is well worth twice the price. As mentioned by another, the only feature i miss would be an external pocket in the jacket. I'm still using the one I purchased a few years ago - this one is for a friend.

This is a great Rainsuit for the price. it kept me dry and warm, appears to be well made, having this rainsuit in my bag in case of an emergency is reassuring. is a little bulki and taking up more space than I wanted but is ok.

Peggy B. from HESPERIA, CA:
The rain suit appears to be well made especially for the cost. The only problem is the difficulty in getting the right size. Even with allowing for undergarments; it runs on the large side. I would send it back but due to it being a gift; I'm too embarrassed to do so.

This item is exactly as described. The quality and workmanship are top notch. I don't ride in the rain very often, but the security of having this rainsuit in my bag in case of an emergency is reassuring. Once you straddle the motorcycle be sure you are in the saddle properly because the rubberized seat in the pants will prevent sliding. You are glued to the saddle. Excellent product at an excellent price.

Randy A. from WATERLOO, IA:
Exellent quality..They are a little bulky and will take up some room in the bags. I am 6 foot 245 and bought a large. Pants are rather big but will work ..jacket fit good but sleevs are a little short when reaching for bars. My wife is 5' 8" and slim..bought her a medeum and it seems to fit well though pants are pretty large. All and all should get the job done and cant complain for the money.

Michael H. from New London, CT:
I purchased this Rain Gear recently based on price. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the product, taking into consideration the low price. The fit and finish are good, durability has yet to be tested, also I havent had the gear out in the rain as yet but it appears that it will be satisfactory. The gear is somewhat bulky but again look at the price. I feel this gear is a bargin. I would recommend this rain gear for people who like bargins.

Brian D. from CLARKSTON, MI:
Very nice rain suit for the price. I hope I never need it, but I believe when I do, I will be dry. Fits well over riding jacket. I'm 6 feet, 180 lbs, 34 waist, and the large jacket was spot on. The pants are rather large when standing, but will probably be fine when sitting on the bike. The goal is to stay dry, not win a fashion award, so I don't mind.

William B. from GROTON, CT:
Jacket fits perfect pants do not not sure the measurements are correct as these pants should have been a little big in the hips and they are not, so far so good have not had a chance to wear it out in the rain but will get it a good beating on Memorial Day weekend going from New England to DC on the bike. Delivery was a little slower than I thought I would be but other than that I am happy with the service and the product.

Perfect fit over Harley leather jacket even with winter liner. Couldn't believe the bang for the buck and the wind block at 39 degrees and rain.

iv had mine for about 2 months and only been through 2 bad rain stormes but its done great. i was humid but dry. i believe this is like anything and the 10% rule gets a few people. iv never had a leak but im also sure to have the pant pulled up far enough and the zipper all the way up also. great product. feels nice and heavy reinforced where riders wear at the most ie seat and inside thy.

LeatherUp never ceases to amaze me! I have searched for the right rain gear for the past year and decided that this was the one....and I was right! This is a very durable rain suit and the boot straps and slip proof seat are an added bonus. I priced similar constructed suits in the $285.00 range. You can not go wrong with these. I wear an XL in most of my clothing and ordered an XL and these are designed to wear right over your regular riding gear... perfect!

Jimmy T. from BLUE SPRINGS, MO:
I haven't used this jacket in the rain, but I can tell you that this is the best quality suit I have ever owned! I haul cars from the Ford plant in Kansas City and through my job I work outside in all weather conditions. I have bought many different kinds of rain suits including the last suit I bought at Bass Pro for $100. That one was a Frog Togg, or however you spell it, and this one is built way more durable and better for half the price. I can tell by the heaviness and the way the suit is made that is better than any other. You can't go wrong with this suit! For the money, Jump on it! Good suit leatherup and super fast shipping!

Nelson J. from LEVANT, ME:
I already own Frogg Toggs that I paid $75 for last year. Almost immediately I scorched a hole on the inside of the right pant leg. I purchased some ironing board cloth and made a patch so I could keep using them. Then I tore the flimsy liner fabric putting on the pants while wearing my boots. A little duct tape and I was back in business again. Conclusion: Frogg Toggs are not designed for motorcyclists. What I really wanted was a rain suit that could also double as cold weather gear. Voila! The Xelement rain suit went far beyond my expectations. Some of the great features: It's heavier than most rain suits, durable fabric, seat has anti-slip fabric, boot straps on legs, high collar that serves as neck gaiter, rain hood that stashes away, and a pocket on the front of pants. The fit was perfect! Normally I wear a large, but ordered a medium based on the comments here. I'm 5'-9" and weigh 170 lbs, enjoy micro-brews and long walks on the beach. Thanks, LeatherUp!

very nice rain suit.rather thick rain suit, more for cold weather, a little on the bulky side. heavy, like the material. i'am 5'10 wtg. 150 lb. got the med. to wear over just jeans & shirt. fits good, alittle short on the arms, but will work . good value !!!

Amber B. from PHOENIX, AZ:
Excellent suit especially at this price. Kept hubby dry through several rainy rides in Colorado. Only thing it needs is a drawstring at the bottom of the jacket - it billows up under the jacket below where the belt is. Hubs varies between a L and XL and we ordered him the L, it was fine over his pants and jacket/gear.

Giving it 4 stars mostly because I haven't had a chance to wear it in the rain yet. but from my inspection of it, it looks like a great value for the money. all the right features are there: double zipper flap, heat shield on inner leg, hidden hood that goes under the helmet, rubber seat, boot straps. looks well made. it's a bit bulky but that's the tradeoff for heavier material.

this is a super heavy duty rainsuit. heavy rubber seat in the pants as well as heat resistant material inside the lower legs for hot exhaust pipes. i'll have to find a draw string bag to store it on the bike, it doen't come with one. it is bulky and takes up some room in your saddle bag.

Very nice quality rain suit for the money. Have not used them in the rain yet but they look like they will do the trick. The jacket fits great but the pants are HUGE, just keep that in mind when ordering. Both sets of xelement rain gear we bought is this way.

Great value on an excellent rain suit. Got to try it in a Michigan November (!) thunderstorm. It kept me dry and warm, except for a little on the outside of my left leg. I'll have to try it again in the spring, to see if I had it adjusted wrong or something. Other than that, very happy with it.

Chad Kersey from Valdosta, GA:
Keeps me dry, blocks the wind in the fall and winter, fits on over my jacket and chaps. I guess the thing I like least about it is the way the extra bulk in the arms and legs just sorta' flaps around in the wind. A velcro strap to tighten the arms and legs down so this wouldn't happen (it drags quite a bit at high speed) would be a nice feature.

Haven't gotten to use it yet, but for the price you can't beat it. Like the other review it is heavier than I thought and does take up room than say Frogg Toggs. I was able to fold them up and get them in one side of my saddle bags whhich are pretty small bags.

Judy J. from Williston, ND:
I have not had to wear my rain gear as of yet, but did put it on over my chaps, and coat. I ordered an XL, and it is plenty big. Might have been able to get by with a Large, but then maybe not. Better to be a little big, then too tight I say. The quality seems fine, and I like the velcro straps to snug it up in the fight places. I would recommend this suit to anyone looking for a good quality suit at a reasonable price. Thanks, Mike in ND.
