Fred L. from Mandan, ND:
Jacket appears to be well made, I am 6-2 and about 215 and 36 waist. Jacket XL fits snug but not uncomfortable with liner in. No chance to ride with it for a while since I live in north central Midwest.

Dan J. from TACOMA, WA:
I live in the Northwest. Ordered Jacket on Friday. Received on Monday. I am 5'8". 200 lbs with a 46" chest. The XL fits with and without the liners, and removing the back pad. If I had wanted to use the back pad. I would need a XXL. Great three season jacket for the NW. Outer mesh shell for hot summers. Water repellent layer for the rain we get up here. I won't be using the vest liner. I prefer thermals or a thin sweatshirt. There are plenty of buttons, snaps and zippers to hold it together but. I have found it easier to use the layers individually, as needed.

This is another nice jacket I have purchased from LetherUp. I wanted a mesh jacket for warmer weather riding that had armor. This fits the bill. It also comes with a liner vest and an inner rain proof jacket . Both of those are removeable and for warmer weather you won't want them in the jacket. I usually take an XL but with this jacket and the two liners that was a little snug. So if you intend to use the liners get a size larger to be comfy. The outer mesh jacket alone has no inside pockets and I whish it did but you still have the side pockets. The rainproof inner jacket has nice pockets, one would be fine for concealed-carry. But all I really wanted was a mesh jacket that lets a lot of air flow through it and it has the shoulder, elbows and back armor to help you in a fall so it's doing the job. The price is very reasonable and the fit and finish is very good. It's a great summer jacket.

Shawn H. from RICHLAND, IA:
Ordered a 2XL according to the size chart and it was WAY to small. My chest measures 50 inches and I could barely get this jacket zipped. Sent it back to get a 3XL but they are O/S. Exchanged for a Joe Rocket 4.0 2XL as my other jacket is that brand and it has a correct size chart.

Pretty good, a little on the heavy side. The liners work but are a real pain to deal with, sleeves a little long and I wish they were tighter around the wrist. If I ever fall off I'll let you know how it goes. I'm 5'8'' about 185lbs 36" waist got the LARGE, medium wouldn't have worked with the liners.

Sherwood F. from RALEIGH, NC:
I am very happy with this jacket. I wore it for the first time in 90 degree weather and it performed as expected. It kept the sun off of me while still keeping me cool. I thought because it was a black jacket I would be roasting, but quite the contrary. Even when the temperature got to 94 degrees and I was not moving and just sitting there at time, I was comfortable.

I am 5'11", 165lbs with a 40 inch chest and ordered a large. With all the layers on, this jacket fit perfectly, but with all of the layers off, it was kind of on the large side. It does work awesome as a summer jacket though. The airflow is amazing and the jacket is pretty durable. It is definitely a nice choice when you want to stay cool during summer, but are looking for more coverage and protection.

Great jacket!! My first riding jacket but really love the versatility. I'm a person that tends to be more warm than most people so this jacket works great without the liners on cool evenings. The added liner has also worked greatly on more brisk days. Not uncomfortable at all. I normally take an XL and bought the XL and with the added liners fits a little snug but I'm ok with that. Without the liners, fits perfect. Thank you!!

This is not a bad jacket, but I would probably not buy again due to the complexity of the thing. Three liners is just too many zippers to fool with. The jacket is nice for summer with all the liners out. Air flow is pretty good and it's not a bad looking jacket.

Nice fit and look. I removed the liner and it stays nice and cool all day. Great on morning rides. I ride about equally day or night so the reflective stripes are very useful. It's very comfortable because it looks heavier than it is.

This jacket has a good design for riding and adds pectoral girth. I enjoy how water resistant the jacket is and how well it is designed for dealing with excessive wind. The zippers are on the cheaper side in my opinion and unteeth a little to easily. The armour is nice just note that there is no armour on the direct side of your lower arm.

Theresa O. from HEBER SPRINGS, AR:
I bought this jacket for my husband and have been waiting until he had to ride in the rain for the first time before leaving a review. He loves the jacket and wears it every time he goes on the motorcycle. Today he wore it in the rain for about a 15min ride and it kept him nice and dry. The only thing that got wet was the "dry pocket" inside the front zipper. This was tested by placing a dry paper towel in each pocket instead of testing it with your cell phone. The paper towel from the hand pockets stayed dry. The paper towel in the pocket inside the zipper was soaked. I ordered an XL for him but he wears a L and it fits perfect. Thankfully he has not wrecked so I can't comment on the durability and protection offered, but it seems really well built and the pads are all in the right places without making the jacket look bulky. As for the liners, it seems like someone might have dropped the ball on the design or maybe the one I bought was just put together a little wrong, but there are snaps that have no apparent function, and it seems that whoever made it put all male ended snaps both on the jacket and liners. The little loops inside the sleeves that hold the wind/rain liner is way too weak and broke when pulling his arm out the first time. I would still recommend this jacket. The zippers that hold the liners in are really all that is needed and do a fine job without the snaps.

Shawn R. from STOCKTON, CA:
My first jacket, and after reading some of the other reviews, I went for it, wore it to the MSF, and got a great feel for it. Fits great and has nice ventilation and sits nice and warm. I took the waterproof lining out, just because it was slightly too hot, but hopefully if I get my bike soon, it's easy enough to put back in, then I'll be set for if it starts sprinkling or raining. Fits good, I'm 5'9 and a good 175lbs lean.

Good quality. Inner lining are just as described. The mesh outer jacket allows for great air flow. It was out of stock for a long time but I did use it for a few rides later in the summer and with the protection removed still provided a secure feeling along with good ventilation

This is a great Jacket. Made of great quality material and fits awesome. I have been wearing it in TN in 95 degree weather and still am able to remail cool. Breathes very well. I don't use any of the liners that it came with right now so don't know how it will hold up once winter gets here. Shipping was very fast. I love this web site!!

Jacob Molzan from WEST PALM BCH, FL:
I have tried the Tourmaster Intake Air 2 and this is on par with the quality. I am 6'4", 250lbs and I wear a 18x36/37 shirt and a 48L jacket, I ordered the 2XL due to other reviews I read. It fits great, the sleeves are almost too long, I might have been ok with an XL but my arms already fit tight in the 2XL with the liners. Without the liners it is comfortable and since I live in South Florida and I haven't needed the liners. It is as comfortable in 90 degree weather as it can be and it breathes extremely well. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who wants more protection than your shirt sleeves and doesn't want to look like a sweaty mess after taking their leathers off.

This is my first armored jacket and I expected it to come with better protection. I guess it will protect you the same way a leather jacket will. Without the linings it feels like you're not wearing anything! So far I've used it on 90"F and it feels great.

My chest is a 38 with a sweatshirt on so I got the medium and it fits great. The padding is in a needed places. I tried it out as soon as I got, it was in the low 40's and underneath all I had was a t shirt and I stayed warm. Great jacket. I would buy it again.

Justin L. from Minneapolis, MN:
I was a bit torn between rating it a 3 and a 4. Overall I like the jacket, but I have had issues with the mesh on the inside tearing. Also, I ordered an XL and I usually wear L in street clothes and it was still a bit small. It fit well and snug when I had it on, but it was short, so when I rode my supersport bike it would ride up my back and expose my lower back, even after adjusting the straps quite a bit. I really liked the armor and the reflective piping. The liner did not stay very well in the jacket and made it difficult to get in and out of. The straps that hold the arms in place inside the jacket broke within a week of wearing it. The rain liner works well since I made a few trips in some wet weather. Most of the time I took out the elbow armor because it became uncomfortable. All the armor is held in place inside the mesh liner (not removable) with velcro closure. Another thing that bothered me was the liner was mesh and it was somewhat irritating on my arms. I would have preferred a cloth, lightweight liner instead. Overall, its a good jacket and it holds up, just a few issues with the liner and the length. Be sure to order larger than what you wear in street clothes.

Todd O. from HAVRE, MT:
ordered jacket on Jan 21 got it on Jan 26 really great shipping for boondocks of Montana. actually tried it out on snowmobile and felt great should work SUPER for motorcycle season. I ordered an exelement vest as well and love it just wish they would have let it be integerated with jacket as well ie: buttons and snaps and zippers. Love both of them just wish they worked together better. The jacket really keeps all liners in place so would be nice to keep the vest in place as well even if not part of jacket. This is a great comany and I will DEFINETLY but from them again. My only issue were with Exellement but do still love there products as well. Looking at buying an exellement rain suit soon

Jack D. from Media, PA:
I love the jacket. My only complaint is that the zipper is shoddily sewn into the rain liner - the stitching pulled away and the zipper literally came away from the liner with only gentle handling. I took the rain liner out and threw it away, because the reason I got the jacket in the first place was to have a lightweight, breathable riding jacket. I only wear the outer shell, and I love it. The shell alone is worth the price of the jacket.

Stephen S. from ODESSA, WA:
This is a good jacket for the price but the quality isn't outstanding. The loops in the sleeves that hold in the lining are weak - one broke the first time I took the jacket off - so be careful putting in on and taking it off. It's light but with the lining in it's surprisingly warm. I'm a comfortable XL so that's what I ordered. It fits a little snug but an XXL would be too big for me. Overall the jacket is well worth the money but it is more for the casual rider vs. the enthusiast.

The jacket is great because of the liners. It's mesh, so summertime riding is cool, but the waterproof liner and the "warm" liner keep you very warm when it's cool outside. I live in Texas, and this is probably the warmest jacket I own in my entire wardrobe. Very pleased with this product.

Lester C. from Orlando, FL:
Brilliant jacket with 3 layers: outside (wish it had more reflective piping), waterproof/mesh (a bit constrictive in the sleeves, but phenom overall), quilted inner vest (needs more quilting for insulation). Great adjustability, proper body armour, not too heavy, plenty of pockets. You'll want to wear a reflective vest on dark nights, since this is lacking a bit (thought the white stitching around the shoulders was reflective but it's not). Michael's review was spot-on -- you'll need a heated vest during colder winter days especially since the quilted inner is thin. Overall, I'm still rating this 5-stars because of the overall quality, adjustability, functionality and price of this jacket.

This coat gives great protection while keeping me cool, even in 90 degree weather. Xelement quality is above normal, however one of the snaps on the winter liner was broken, and the pants to coat zipper was sewn in backwards, just minor to my fondness of this coat.

This jacket saved my a**...Took a fall at about 50 MPH on the freeway with only small rash on elbow and waste..The jacket is a gonner, but hey, thats what it is made for. Unfortunately, I did not have gear on my legs so you can see a bit of kneecap on the left side.. (Get protective pants!!!) Other than this jacket saving me from some MAJOR issues and doing its job wonderfully, it also breaths really well on a hot day (-liners of course!)..My buddies in their leathers were jealous.. On top of that, the warmth liners REALLY work on a cold day- the both of them together work almost too good. The only minor issue I had is that my left elbow pad did not sit (hug) my elbow on the left side that well, which was a bit annoying. Over time I it worked itself out tho. All in all this jacket is AMAZING, and you can bet I will be buying another one...Just as soon as I get my bike back up and running.... RIDE SAFE, WEAR GEAR!!

The jacket is good quality except for the lining. I just wore this on a trip through the Colorado Rockies and the vinyl lining does little to keep your arms warm. There is no other lining down the arms so when the vinyl gets cold it transfers to you skin. I found it to be OK if I layered underneath. The mesh Jacket portion is very good however.

Searched your webiste extensively before purchasing this jacket. First of all you guys have the best selection and lowest prices of any site I've been to. Bought this jacket last week and it arrived right on time within 4 days from ordering...The service was excelent, As far as the Jacket, It Rocks!..Love the 3 stage lining system. Rode home yesterday in 85 degree heat without the two inner liners and the jacket breathes very well. Over all I rate this jacket to be top notch...I'd recommend it to anyone.
