John C. from BILLERICA, MA:
March 10,2017 J.Campbell from Billerica MA Ordering clothing by mail is always risky. I'm glad I took the risk because this coat is well made. I'm 5'11" 200 lbs so I ordered the X Large. All the Armour fits in all the right places. This coat fits like a glove, but I was wondering if I should have bought a XXL so I could were something extra under the coat. If you read some of the other reviews when people ordered larger or smaller than their usual coat size the Armour doesn't line up and that seems to be one of the most important aspect of this coat for me so I'm sticking with the XL. This is a great coat and a great website and will order from them again.

Chelsee M. from RICHMOND, KY:
I bought this jacket for my husband and he loves it! He has not gotten a chance to wear it while out riding yet, but finds the jacket very comfortable while wearing it otherwise. It looks sharp on him and the armor falls in all the right places. The adjustable tabs at the waist are nice as my husband has broad shoulders, but is overall quite thin. Normally, he wears a M in all shirts/jackets. When I measured him for the jacket, he measured a S, but the S was just a bit too snug around his chest (despite the fact that the difference in measurements is pretty small). The M fits perfectly--gives him just a fraction more room in the chest and the arms, which freed up movement through his shoulders. For reference, he is 6'0" and about 180 pounds with the only real weight he carries being a bit in his stomach. A few of the ratings we can't really speak to yet, like durability, but I couldn't submit the review without it so I rated it based on how durable it feels. So far, no complaints with this jacket!

michael from LANCASTER, TX:
Wow!! What an Awesome Jacket!! I opened the box and was truly impressed. I got the pants that match ...(Item: #CF2131). They Fit together perfect. Order a size larger. I am 6ft. 190. I normally wear a Large but ordered XL... Don't tell anybody but I put a pair of my wife tights on under the pants for extra warmth...fits like a glove. The pads are nice and in the right places on the chest, shoulders, and elbows. It took me awhile to figure out all the layers of zippers. The pant and jacket even zip together in the back to stop the draft from going down your back side...Once all zipped up.... I'm glad it's in the 20's today here in Texas. Time to Ride... Jacket and Pants have a futuristic kinda look...Buy it quick...

I've had this jacket for years now and i am very happy with it. It is a little on the larger size for the chart so maybe order your regular size. I am 6'2 and 190lbs and got a XL, should have gotten L. Finish is good, great for all season riding (l've worn it during the winter as well) waterproof liner works fine but will not keep you 100% dry. Great starter jacket.

David H. from LANSDOWNE, PA:
The jacket felt of very high quality and was very good looking. The problem is, I wear a 3XL, I ordered a 4XL. The jacket came with a 4XL tag on it but it didn't come close to fitting. This jacket is an XL at best. Now I have to return it at a cost to me of more than $20 UPS. I can't trust that I will get a jacket that fits, so I won't be ordering any more items from this product line.

Loren S. from Dillsburg, PA:
For the money, this was a good value. I did not read description close enough and was disappointed when I found it had only a vest liner with a full waterproof liner. Cuffs can not be closed tight on wrist, but I think and added snap will fix that. Breathes as well as my old Tour Master. Wanted the CE armor, so that is a big plus. Would like another inch or two in length, but looks good. Could do without the orange logos on the shoulders. Zippers seem chintzy. Would prefer the inside pockets to be in between the velcro and the zipper as opposed to under the zipper. Have not had a chance to test for the fall and early winter riding. To get a better jacket though you need to spend another $50-100 at least.

As far as keeping my warm and dry it's great. Other than that it's cheaply sewn together and not very nice looking. The durability is close to nothing seeing as I've had it for a week and half of the stitching is already ripped or fallen apart.

Good jacket for the price, unfortunately did not work for me. I am 6'-2'' and the jacket was short for my torso. I wear a 3x and ordered the 5x and was to small. Sent it back to Leather UP via UPS. They have received it two weeks ago yet have not notified me or credited my account.

Haven't used it in the rain yet but great value for the price. Its not a $300 jacket so don't expect one. It fits my large shoulders and chest. The outside looks nice. The feelk of the multiple liners is odd and kind of slick since they are button in not zip in. Good value for the money and no complaints.

Enoch H. from SAN ANTONIO, TX:
To be honest, this jacket is better than my Cortech, and that one cost about $270 a few years back. The front zipper config takes some time to get used to (you have the first zipper and velcro flap, then 2nd outer zipper and zelcro, BUT the zippers to remove the liners are also there, kinda confusing). I ordered a Large even thought the measurements said I should get the Medium, glad I did. Perfect for a layer or 2 underneath. Rode through rain, didn't get wet, on the contrary even on real cold mornings, this jacket paired with my fleece undercoat and I'm sweating! 28 degrees at 70-80 mph for 45 miles to get to work, the windchill alone is around 5 degrees. Neck is also a little tight for any neck gators, I can't completely zip up the jacket, but the veclro holds real nice.

For the money, this is a good buy. It fits well. The three layers are good, but hard to put together. The arm straps are very cheap, and all broke within a few days. Not really a big deal but would be nice if they were made better. Kept me warm in upper 40's. Overall a good deal for the money

Nice Jacket. Fits great without all the extra layers. would have ordered larger for cold weather riding. Does not let as much air in as I was hoping for in warm weather, it heats up, but the padding is great and allows some peace of mind on the highway for "just in case" scenarios. Great price.

Steven B. from , :
The jacket is very good and seems well made for the price. I have made four 120 mile rides in 30F weather. The jacket kept the wind off and me comfortable. With just one liner it works very well 40-60F temp range. All the liners out and vents open it has good airflow and is comfortable into.the mid 80's F. Above that and it begins to get warm., but is certainly usable. It won't cotmpete with mesh jackets for breathability, but what can? It is fantastically adjustable and exactly what I was looking for: a jacket that will work in cold and not be unbearable in the heat. What I gtot excesses expectations.

Great Jacket! I normally wear a 2xl so I bought a 4xl and it fights just about perfect! Love the armor in it,not to mention all the liners so you have adjustability over all of it! I think one thing a lot of people look over is the zipper. This zipper is awesome! It slides easily and attaches flawless everytime! With the liners it will keep you warm, or you can take one of the three out and be cool, or take them all out!

Love this jacket and for the price, it can't be beat. I've only owned it one week, so far so good. I took out both liners due to it being so warm. I wear an XL, so I ordered an XL and it fits perfect. A little snug with both liners in, but that is how I like it when riding in the cold. I am 5'10", 195 lbs. ....ok, I'm working on the beer gut, but it still fits fine.

Wow! I am very pleased with the jacket it has so many features that will be extremely benefical when riding during the hot and cold months. Can't beat the price too! Also went with with a 3xl because of the feedback from other viewers which was helpful to know the jacket runs small. If you wear a 48-50 in the chest around 6 foot get a 3x! Would like to thank leather up for a great product and I will be ording from them again.

An attractive, well made jacket with armor in all the right places. I removed the liners due to summer riding. The vents work well. Be careful with the mesh vents. I thought one was a pocket and poked a hole in it. My fault, not the manufacturer's. Great price too! Very happy with the purchase.

Love this jacket! Living in Maine, you never know what the weather in the spring will bring you. In the last month, I've ridden in heat up to the 80's, and wind chills in the teens. There has been sun, rain, snow, and 30 mile per hour wind gusts. This jacket has kept me comfortable through it all! My only caution is the buttons and loops that secure the liners are a bit fragile. Use care with them.

H. David R. from CONWAY, MA:
The "Tri-Tex" fabric is not waterproof. All loops to hold full sleeve waterproof liner in place have fallen off and the zipper for that liner has broken within a season and a half. Snap button on sleeve of jacket ripped off within a week of use. Other than that it's comfortable, flexible for multiple temperatures and it zips easily to the pants.

Ron Y. from Williams Lake, BC:
The very first day I wore this jacket my bike blew a tire at 60 mph. Ended up laying it down on the gravel shoulder of the road and landed on my right side. All I got was a large road burn on my forearm and knee. Jacket was barely damaged and I got the burn from the armor as it rubbed against my arm in the impact. If I hadn't been wearing the jacked I would be missing a lot of skin I think. Aside from that I'm really pleased with the quality & fit (ordered XL and I'm 5'8, 180 lbs). Have yet to try the liners but everything looks well designed, stylish & utilitarian at the same time. Thumbs up!

Thomas P. from NEW YORK, NY:
Really good for the money. There are a few things I wish it had like Velcro closures on the wrists and vents on the sleeves, but again for the price it's hard to complain. Provides good layered protection for warm/hottish to a little chilly (low 60s or 50's to mid 90s-- I didn't use the waterproof liner). The zippers on the flys of two pairs of matching pants broke before I even removed the tags, and this jacket is the same brand and has the same zippers, so you'd better go easy on the zippers (I had to replace the zipper on the pant's fly with a higher-quality one at a tailor, and incidentally, leather-up customer service was outstanding in dealing with the matter). For the price I'd definitely recommend this jacket, and especially recommend Leather-Up.
