Michael C. from HOMOSASSA, FL:
I like the jacket and it fits extremely well. When taking out the liner one of the inside cloth attachment rings came off and will require resewing to repair. Other than this slight flaw it seems very comfortable.

I do like this jacket but just so you know it is NOT waterproof. It is only water resistant.

Just got my Jacket yesterday, and took a long ride with it, Love it!!!. the quality is good, and fits well. I am 6 feet 2, 200 pounds, and an XL fit me like a glove. I did read a number of reviews before I bought this jacket which was extremly helpful in the decision making. So I m taking time out of my day to write this for others to see. This is a good jacket for the price. the protection is good and liner is warm and easily can be taken out. The delivery was timely. Thanks Leather up. Sam from PA

I love the jacket it's exactly what I wanted. My problem is that the jacket was shipped with a torn out pocket, the entire bottom of the pocket was torn out. $2.00 and the local cleaners and NOW it's good as new. Torn pocket or not I will still order from this website, until the next mistake.

Bought this jacket for my husband. Fits great. Glad we bought it because we took a four day trip around the PA Wilds and it was cold. Kept him warm and he looked great!

The jacket is a bit lighter than I expected, the fit was good and the build quality seems solid for the price. The only problem I have with the jacket is that when putting your arms in the sleeve you can hit the velcro attachments for the elbow armor. Not a huge problem but it does annoy me.

William M. from LONGWOOD, FL:
Nice jacket for the price. Blocks the cold air very well. Made with a plastic material so you will have the plasticy mesh like sound when moving around. My main issue is with the pockets. I was riding and the two lower front pockets opened up and I lost a cellphone and garage door opener. Was very expensive waste. I am not sure if the wind underneath was pushing the pockets open or if the zipper is just loosens on long rides.

Love the jacket. The only complaint I have is the fabric holding the armor in has a tendency to snag on other clothing. Would purchase one again if need be.

For the price, A jacket!! I have long monkey arms(6'4 175 lbs) Fits good. Waist could be a inch longer, but arms are great length for me. The other morning it was a wisconsin 45 degrees out and with a hooded sweatshirt, not cold at all.

Robert D. from Pleasantville, Somewhere:
Was a little wary of quality since it was my first time ordering from LeatherUp. For the price, jacket is amazing. I ordered a large (I'm 5'7" and weigh 160. Fits pretty well, only complaint is that elbow padding is slightly too far down towards my forearm. Also, I have a feeling that the lining that is attached to the jacket (not the removable one) seems like it will tear at the seams relatively quickly. 3 days after receiving the jacket, I took a spill and though I was only going about 15-20mph, this jacket saved my elbow and shoulder, and still looks brand new. Walked away with a just some scrapes and bruises- If you don't have an armored jacket, you need one! Oh, I've been wearing it without the removable liner- It's been about 75-80 degrees and sunny. With just a t-shirt underneath, this jacket gets really hot. If looking for a light, summer jacket this is not it. Should be great for fall (and with liner it should be good for mild winter riding) Will definitely order from LU again.

I am very happy with my purchase. I am 5'7" and 180# and ordered a Large and it's a perfect fit. You don't even notice that the armor is in the jacket. Very comfortable. Sleeves are a little long which makes it nice so they don't ride up too far when you're riding.

Roxane P. from SANDY, UT:
The tabs on the zippers are annoying but easily removed. The material isn't as tough feeling as other jackets I've seen. It's softer feeling. The fit of the jacket is great, although I wish it were a bit longer on the torso. It's pretty lightweight for a jacket. I've ridden in it in warm and cold temperatures. The zip-in liner is fairly thin but I've found it goes a long ways to keeping you warm on cold nights or days. It is waterproof I found out. Rode in it for an hour in some heavy rain and stayed dry. Without the liner it's great for warm days while moving. My only complaint is the cuffs. Maybe it's the position of my handle bars but wind blows right up the sleeves and hit my arm pits. That's pretty nice for warm days but brutal on cold days. Velco might be more ideal.

Great jacket given the price. Would buy it again. Perfect for fall through spring. Probably too heavy for anything above 90-95 degrees. Not a light weight mesh summer type. Nice zip out liner. 6'1", 190 lbs the xl fits perfect.

Scott F. from APOLLO BEACH, FL:
Just received jacket today. As I unpacked the jacket, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and the quality of the jacket. I immediately tried it on. I'm 6.2, 200lbs and an XL large fit snug with the lining in, a polo shirt and an undershirt on. The snug fit is a good thing since you don't want loose fabric flapping in the wind especially on the highway with no windshield. I also liked the adjustable snaps on the sleeves, again preventing loose fabric. The armor seems solid and stays in position well. I removed the zip out lining and the jacket still fits very well and is comfortable. All in all a great jacket for the price. Note: I have yet to ride with it on, but just wanted to give my first impression of the jacket.

James K. from Nazareth, PA:
Great coat. Light weight, but with liner in - very warm. Sleeves a bit lone when walking around but perfect when riding. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the zipper on the inside of the sleeve rather than outside. Seems like it could scratch the bike as you as you reach up to gas tank, key, etc... Transaction went very smoothly - will buy from LeatherUp again.

Great jacket. Love it... Much better than the heavy, leather one. More versatile. Told a couple of guys at work…as soon as they saw mine, they ordered one each. My measurement is a 40 chest and I go the large. Fits perfect. The XL would have been too big for me.

Bought this for my husband. He normally wears a 1x shirt and 2x jacket. The 3x of this jacket fits just right over a sweatshirt. The sleeve/waist adjustment straps are a plus. Waiting for the snow to melt so he can really try it out...

Excellat jacket. Forget heavy bulky leaters, this is the stuff, warm in winter, cool in summer, would never go back to leather. Armor is excellant. Price was half of the price of bike shops, this is the only way to buy!

Very good jacket. I am 5'10" 175 lbs and ordered a Medium, the sleeves are just the right length when riding but the body is a little short I get a bit of a draft up the back, but fits great every where else. Great jacket for the price.

Mark M. from DUNWOODY, GA:
I was a bit nervous as first as shoulder movement was a bit restricted, but I have grown to greatly appreciate the fit and functionality of my purchase. Occasionally, I'll dislodge the velrco in the arms that secure the elbow guards, and it will scratch, but it is easily put back into place. I'd buy this jacket again without hesitation were I to require one.

I like the feel and look of the jacket. It almost a steal at this price. Shipment was on time and commuication with LeatherUp was great. The jacket fits great and looks great!. I used the liner in when the weather was cold and then when it turned warm removed it. I was a snap. It's a good around jacket.

So far - so good. The jacket seems to be quality made and is very comfortable. The liner has kept me warm in temperatures down to 40 deg. Havn't been able to test the vents yet. It arrived within a week and I have been very happy with the customer service.

Mike from GRAND PRAIRIE, TX:
I ordered this prior to my first long solo ride in August from Texas to Milwaukee. With the vents open, I was very comfortable in warmer weather, and the night chill in Wisconsin was easily held at bay without the liner. Pockets were very convenient for all the essentials. Thanks for the great jacket!!

Wonderful fit, its light weight is just great. Most importantly is that its heavy enough to keep me warm for this Michigan crazy weather, till it's time for my real leather.
