Alejandro A. from MINNEAPOLIS, MN:
Great for the unbearably cold Minnesota winters. If these puppies keep my hands warm here, they sure can keep your hands warm anywhere else where there is a true winter. The storage sleeves are a huge add-on surprise. ID and cards fit perfectly in them. Many guys are asking me about them. Thank you!

Larry L. from ROLAND, AR:
Good value but not the best insulation. My fingers froze in about 45 degree wind. I purchased more expensive gloves which insulated much better. I keep these in my saddle bags in case of rain. Still good gloves for the price.

I purchased these for my boyfriend because these were the only ones that said waterproof. I was so embarrassed when he unzipped the zipper on the back of the glove to reveal the vinal mitten inside . I guess thats what made them waterproof . I wish I had read the description more closlely. Leason learned to read all reviews and the small print

Wore these on the annual toy drive ride and my fingertips got very cold, the ride is very slow through town so I cannot imagine traveling at a higher speed with them.

Frederic L. from FT WALTON BCH, FL:
Gloves fit fine and seem like they would be warm, however I returned prior to using. I ordered gloves that would be warm and provide protection. The leather is very soft and did not look like it would hold up to any abuse and the padding, while thick, is very soft. They were comfortable, but not what I was looking for.

Price is awesome for this glove. As said, the part of glove covering your jacket is tight. The glove is warm. Hope it holds up. Really like my purchase.

Laurianne S. from VIRGINIA BCH, VA:
I bought these gloves for my son, as his hands get cold and wet while riding his cycle. While he says they are very comfortable and keeps his hands warm, he has large hands and I ordered extra large and fit perfect. They didn't keep them dry at all. The gloves were soaked clean through.. big disappointment. So I purchased a light weight plastic glove to put over his hands and now even though they gets soaked his hands are dry yet the gloves keep his hands warm. Have not tried his in 30 decrees I'm sure they won't be warn in wet/cold conditions. Again they are NOT waterproof.

Good gloves seem like they are going to hold up well. Nice that they absorb some of the vibration from a old shovelhead. nice soft leather that fit well and block the wind well. When riding at 28 f the tips of my fingers got a little cold once i hat about 50 mph but hey if your riding at 28 you have to expect something to get at least a little cold

I got them for a 4-hour snowmobiling trip. At 30 deg, my hands stayed warm, comfirtable and dry the entire time. And the extra mitten hidden in the zipper is a bonus ! They did rip however, probably while dragging the snowmobile out of the ditch. The material is very soft, not too durable. But if you use them carefully, they work great !

John B. from ROCHESTER, NH:
Gloves: Nice gauntlet style gloves. They are a bit tight to get over my leather jacket, ( as other mention in reviews, but it is not a big deal. They hold up well on the early morning New England rides. They have a small zipper lining for the water proof mittens that came with them. And they DO work! I used them last week in pouring rain and stayed dry. Great price!

Nathan H. from WAIANAE, HI:
Got these gloves for a planned coast to coast trip. I live in Hawaii, so I haven't yet used them. They are much thicker than I expected. So, they might be great on cold mornings. Only thing I didn't like was they were STUCK together, so when I separated them the color dye came off of one glove. They seem like they should do the job if I get stuck in a day or two of soggy rain.

David A. from MAYVILLE, MI:
First pair I got had a jammed zipped and the waterproof mitten was missing. The second pair is ok but the Velcro strap on the right glove is too short and doesn't stay attached so it is flopping in the breeze all the time. Ok other than that.

Ordered these gloves back in January and just started using them this month. I love them. Very soft and fit great. Went out one day in 35 degree weather and my hands stayed warm. The cuffs are a little tight pulling over my leather jacket but still fit. For the price I wasn't expecting much but to my surprise they are quality gloves.

George G. from SALEM, AL:
Needed a pair of gloves to keep my hands warm for the two months that it gets cold down south. These gloves did their purpose. Also was surprised to see the rain mittens that go over them when you open the zipper. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I noticed after about the second day of using them, the leather where i pull them on is starting to fade. Nothing huge that would keep me from wearing them. And a fifth of the price of the HD ones.

Even though, I'm not sure which Steppes Tribe is divying up my $, these gloves, for the price point - are excellent! I wear them with my full length champaign suede duster, Australian wool fadora, and let me tell you, people look at me like Capt. Jack has just entered the room super. ANOTHER perfect fit, making the ENTIRE order four in a row perfect fits on all items: jacket, boots, pants and gloves - WAY TO GO LEATHERUP!!!

Allen A. from FRONTENAC, MN:
Just rode in fairly cold weather here in MN... The gloves were great..especially for the price. I also agree with another reviewer that the shipping price seemed a bit high...but I am very pleased with the product. This is my second purchase in two weeks. I also purchased the Xelement triple armor leather jacked...and am very happy with that as well.

Gloves appear to be well made. I rode in 49 degree temps and my hands got slightly cold but overall I am happy with the gloves. The gauntlet cuff is a bit too small and tough to get over the jacket sleeve. Price was good for the gloves, the shipping wa bit high I thought.

Only wore once so far... Hands did not go numb on the ride... they werre nice and warm when I arrived. They fit a little snug... I usually wear an XL, I almost wish I went with a XXL... but i'm confident they will stretch with a little wear. No more cold hands... WOO HOO.

Joe B. from FREDERICK, MD:
I bought a pair of these gloves nearly two years ago, and have used them for a good 20,000 road miles. While they still work great, I can feel a little draft coming through on one or two of the fingers (this is not a negative, as I feel I have more than gotten my money's worth). I live in the mid-Atlantic area (Maryland) and ride pretty much year-round and all over the country. The gloves alone will keep you warm down into the 40's, and although the plastic mitten is cumbersome, adds that extra protection during rain or extra cold nights. The gauntlet/wrist portion could be a bit wider, but suit the purpose of covering your jacket and keeping the airflow out of your arms. The most important part of my recommendation: I am about to buy a second (replacement) pair.

NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL!!! They do come with rainproof covers... they were very snug over a medium glove and tore after 2 uses to the point that after 60 miles the gloves were soaked from fingertip to the bottom of the cuff. However the gloves are insulated and they are wonderful for any dry cold days we have here. I ordered Medium instead of large as suggested. They fit very well. The shipping time was very swift. This is the first product i have bought that I wasnt thrilled about from L.up
