Steve from MINNEAPOLIS, MN:
I love this jacket! The jacket allows cool air in, without sacrificing safety. Even if you just want to get out of the sun on a hot day, these jackets are great! And, we rode them in cold weather with the insert attached, and they were nice. I still would wear a long sleeve t-shirt on a cool fall day, but no complaints. Comfort and fit are great! My only issue would be the sizing. It does run a bit small, so order one size up. Unless you really like it snug. Other than that, this jacket is great!

Scott S. from CARTHAGE, MO:
Six months of ownership and it is starting to fall apart. The zipper on the left front pocket went first with the shuttle coming off of the track rendering the zipper permanently open. One of the plastic teeth had fallen off and that was that - I used that pocket maybe twice. Safety pin keeps it closed. Next the snap pulled through and fell completely off the "pistol" pocket. That pocket is on the inside of the jacket and so I did not sweat it too much - I think I opened that snap once before it broke. Next a snap on the sleeve fell off after washing the jacket for the first time, by itself, in the clothes washer. This snap is actually useful in fitting the jacket snug to the rider. I liked it so much when I got it - but after being worn perhaps 20 to 30 times, its falling apart. Bad fasteners. Look elsewhere.

I purchased this jacket around 2014. First let me say that I found the jacket to be true to size. I am 5'6 160 lbs. with a very athletic cut. I ordered a medium and it fit nice. For the price it is a decent jacket. However, I have found this to be a very cheap jacket. The sleeve snaps are sown into the mesh, therefore they rip out easily just from snapping and unsnapping them. Inside of the first year 3 snaps were gone on the sleeves. The jackets two liners in my opinion are cumbersome and don't fit together well. It is a nice looking jacket this is true. But I have found this to be a very cheaply made jacket and do not recommend it.

Dave S. from FAIRMONT, NE:
I usually wear a 2XL and I ordered a 3XL since other reviews indicated the jacket runs small. The 3XL is almost too tight, so definitely consider ordering 1-2 sizes up. Jacket has nice feaures, especially for the price. I do have 2 complaints-the zipper on the inner liner seems a little flimsy and I need to be very careful when zipping it to make sure everything lines up and works. The other complaint is lack of wind resistance in the arms. I can feel the cold wind right through the jacket. My leather is definitely warmer, but then I paid much more for my leather jacket also. Overall, this is not a bad jacket for the price, but if you want a really warm jacket you should go with something else.

I'm 6' 1" and weight about 250lbs. I normally wear a XL in a jacket and I used the provided measurements and according to them I should wear a XL with no problems. When the XL arrived it was skin tight even with the liners removed so I had to return it. I decided to replace it with a 3XL due to all the reviews saying the jacket runs small. The 3XL was the right fit for me. With or without the liners its a great fit. The more I wear it the more I love this jacket. There is plenty of air flow with the liners removed. The temperatures in my arena are still in the upper 70's in the morning and close to 90 in the heat of the day and the jacket is comfortable. At a light you're going to be a bit warm but quickly cool off once you get moving again. Seems to be a great jacket at a fair price.

This jacket offers a lot for the price and the removable liners make it very versatile. Construction and materials are of high quality. I am 6' and 190 lbs and the large fit me perfectly. Would highly recommend this product.

This jacket is perfect for summer riding, especially with the hot summer we've had here in the mountains of North Carolina. I like everything about it except the waist size runs smaller than the chart indicates. However, overall, I'm very happy with it.

I am a really big guy and ordered a 3XL. With both additional liners it is pretty tight. I wish I'd have ordered a 4XL but for the money this is a lot of jacket. I have a great leather winter riding coat so with the mesh used on the outershell, this works well for summer riding and the waterproof liner will be nice when needed.

I've had this jacket for a few weeks and have ridden through rain and fog and even 102 degree weather here in SoCal. It worked great with the liner in the rain and without in the heat. The extra padding in the jacket in addition to the CE armor is a nice touch. I ordered a large and the sleeves are a bit longer than the rest of my jackets, but with the velcro wrist straps, it's not a problem. This is my 5th motorcycle jacket and the first one from Leatherup and it's now my favorite for almost any riding conditions. Nice quality at an affordable price..

I am not sure what happened to my jacket but it must have been put together on a Friday. I have worn this jacket for two 1 week trips. I like the fact that it has all of the liners and it did keep me warm. The issues are the snaps. They have pulled out of the sleeves, where the liner snaps in near the neck and also where they snap in near the cuff of the sleeve. I know that it is an inexpensive jacket for most but I still think it should hold up longer than one ride. I will take it to a local alteration shop and see if they can fix it since it does do the job but I wont throw in the "This jacket is excellent for the money" schpeel...

Great price for a nice looking good fitting jacket. 3 way lining system is a bit confusing and awkward. Overall I am very happy so far. Great customer service and free shipping is wonderful.

I'm 5'10, 195 pounds, 36" waist and 42" chest. I ordered an XL and it fits perceftly. The coat is beautiful and has great features. Riding in 55 degree weather there was a littly chill coming through the sleeves but a light hoody made it perfect. It got a few degrees warmer and I didn't need the hoody. I had the 10% coupon and they offered free shipping so for $89.95 I think it's a fantastic bargain.

Bobby R. from KILLEEN, TX:
Excellent deal when looking for a lightly armored, protective and reflective jacket. Other "brand" name jackets are twice the price of this and have less than half the features. Pockets galore, removable armor, straps to fit, warm/cool, etc. I shopped around locally and online and this jacket has far exceeded my expectations. I'm tall (6'3) and ordered a 2X. Fits perfect with all the linings added. With everything out, it's slightly big for me, but I'm also a little on the skinny side. Overall, you will not find a better deal than this and you won't be disappointed.

I am 5'10" and 210 lbs. Do a lot of weight lifting so decided to go with the XL instead of L. Made the right call and the fit is good except the arms a little bit long, but still fine. Gives good airflow on hot days with only the outer shell. The other two inside layers are good for cooler weather. I would say down to 50F or so. Haven't tested in the rain and don't plan to, but expect it would be decent. For the money, this is cool looking jacket and if it holds up for a few years then will be a super deal.

Tony V. from NORTHFIELD, MN:
I received this jacket on a Thursday afternoon, took it out of the box, put it on, jumped on my bike and road 500 miles over the next two days, the jacket was great. Mesh was cool during the day and the waterproof liner kept me warm/dry in the rain and while I road at night. I'm 6'1" and 215 and the XL fits well. With all three layers it is snug but still comfortable. A feature I really liked was the two inside pockets that you can access without unzipping the inner liner. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

I am 5'10", 220 LBS with a bit of a gut. I ordered an XL. Was a bit worried but it fits just about perfect. Arms are long enough to not ride up. Seems like a very nice jacket. Have not had the pleasure of riding in the rain yet but the liner looks like it will keep me dry. I do agree that the arms get a bit chilly if you wear short sleeved shirts. The liner zippers are not the best quality either. Over all, I am very pleased. Well worth the price.

I Live in Pennsylvania so I was looking for a good all weather riding jacket When I found this one it hade all that I could ask for. The frist time I Tryed it out was on a 28 degrees morning . When't down the highway and never felt the cold air. Grate for the cold morning and the nice afternoon rides.

I'm 6'4" tall and weigh in at 285. The 5XL fits great, with and without the liners, because of the adjustments in the body and sleeves. I've worn it comfortably down to the upper 20's and into the mid 90's. The looks even rated interest and compliments at the local Harley shop. This is my second Xelement All Season Jacket and I am very pleased with this product and the price.

I am glad I read the reviews first, as I normally wear a 2X in all jackets with room to spare, but barely got in this 3X. Heavy duty riding jacket, well made, will last for years. Took longer to get on than my body armor before going on shift. Made sure you pull back velcro before unzipping or you will be putting this baby back together. I look forward to many years of use...

I bought this jacket a year ago and used it all year. I bought a second jacket for my son. I ride my motorcycle whenever it is over 40 degrees which is most of the time in Texas. The jacket has two removable layers. I take both layers out when the temperature is over 65 degrees. I was comfortable on a 105 degree day with just the outer liner. I wear an insulated flight suit under the jacket when the temperature is below 50 degrees.

This is a great jacket. The armor really doesn't impede any movement. The mesh, with the liner out, is perfectly fine even for desert riding at about 95 degrees. Completely comfortable with both liners in for 38 degree weather. I found the liners a little difficult to get back in once out. Taking them out is real easy. Overall a great jacket for the price.

Scott M. from Hixson, TN:
This jacket has a lot of features and is very versatile for the price. I haven't tried it in very cold weather yet. I put the liner in last week at 60 degrees and was too hot, so I expect that liner and the quilted vest to be good enough for me here in TN. The outer jacket did fine in 80 degree weather, as long as I didn't sit still too long. Some parts of it don't seem to be very good quality, and I kind of doubt that it will stand up to regular use for very long, maybe a year. I expect a seam or zipper to fail any time really. I'm not knocking it, though, for what all you get for the money. I ordered an XL and the fit is great except I find it to be a little long and tends to ride up. That's most likely my fault--I probably should wear a large but my gut is a little too big right now. Just keep that in mind if you're a little thick around the waist.

I bought this jacket and had it shipped to my son's best friend since they are planning to ride together. He loves it and said that it fits very well. He is very pleased with the jacket. I am very pleased with LeatherUp.com and can't imagine buying motorcycle gear from anywhere else!

I am 5'8", 200lbs and went with a large. Jacket is on the tigher side, perhaps should have gone with XL but afraid lenght would not be good. Not sure there is room for a sweatshirt with all the liners in it. I found it a little difficult to get my arms in the sleeves with the mesh liner. Rode last night in 53 degree weather with tshirt under. Could feel the cold in my arms but the body of the jacket seemed to be good. Overall seems to be a great jacket for the value and hoping it might break in a little the more I wear it, or perhaps maybe I should shrink a little.

This a great jacket, perfect for the hot Texas weather. I have not used the vest or rain liner as yet but if it is like the jacket it the it will be perfect. I did not rate durability because I have had the jacket less than 30 days, although the nylon mess inter liner is already showing one pull place and I have not worn any thing to catch on the mesh. Over all the price, shipping and the jacket is worth the price. Very pleased.

Great buy for the Money, more pockets than I can use and with removable liners, wearable on warm days. Even faied well through the rain without the liners and line dried. At 6' and 175#,ordered the medium and fits well with built in expansion panels. All and all great value at low price and would buy again...

I was disappointed with the quality. Either a tear or a seam not sewned in the interior left elbow, also the material around one of the sleeve snaps on the left sleeve was detached. Not what I expected from my previous purchase experience.

I thought the jacket would be brighter? Its darker grey not anywhere close to the brightness in the pics. Otherwise this is a great jacket. Feels safe and secure. Im 6'2" 190 lbs, large is perfect. Great overall coverage, even the lower torso.

This is my first mesh jacket and was impressed with the ability to wear it in warmer weather. I like the fit and features but I noticed that snap on the right sleeve had pulled out. I may have caught it on something but do not remember doing it. I therefore rated it lower on durability. I don't think I will go through the hassle or returning it but will just use the next snap down.

Was excited when I read all the reviews, however, when the jacket arrived, I was very disappointed. Fit well, looked as advertised, but the workmanship and quality of the jacket was pretty bad. I have made several other purchases from LeatherUp.com with great success. This jacket did not live up to the hype and billing.

Zipper is a little cheap and gets stuck at the same spot about half way up alot. That is about my only complaint. I think the value is great! You cant deny that this really is an "All season" Jacket. Lots of pockets. Fits perfect. Im 6'0" 170 got a medium and I was worried because of my wide shoulders I usually get between Med and Large but it really does fit perfect.

When I ordered this jacket they was out of stock so I could not use promo code. When jacket came into stock jacket was higher in price. Received item and went to unzip it and the zipper was caught in liner and tore about a 2 inch slit in material. Zipper is of poor quality but jacket felt nice. Sleeves are cool when riding so I would suggest a warm shirt underneath to keep arms warm.

Bought for my son, tail was a little short for his liking but that was expected(he's 6'4"), all else fits right. It seems to be a really dark grey, almost green, instead of a light grey pictured. Hopefully it won't get blazing hot at stops like my black mesh jacket does.

Good jacket, I like all the adjustments that allow for a more customer fit. The snaps on the arms and the adjustment in the middle are great. Core seems plenty warm, I have riden when it was 36 in the morning. The only thing I am not happy with is the sleves are not very warm when its colder. If its cold at all, I wear a long sleve shirt under the jacket. I have not used it when its hot enough to need to take any of the liners out yet.

Overall, a good value and a good jacket for the price. I agree with previous reviews. The zipper is weak and needs improvement. Have a hard time getting it started, and the the jacket with all the inserts runs small. Without the 2 inner layers, it fit correctly

Alan from SPARKS, NV:
I'm 5'7, 34" waist, 170 pounds, medium build. I ordered a medium and it fits perfect with the exception of the sleeves being about 1/2" long. I'd rather have them long than short. It's a great looking coat, zippers all work nicely and the finish of it looks good too. The liner is attached via little snap tabs that go through loops in the sleeves and at the perimeter of the inside of the coat. I found them a little difficult to undo in the sleeves; they may be difficult to get to to put the liner back in, in time I'll find out. This is a heavy coat, especially with the liners in. The first thing I did was remove the liners. Here in Northern Nevada it is in the low 50's in the moring and mid 90's in the afternoon. My experience to date is that this coat without the liners is a bit chilly in the morning at 53 degrees and pretty warm in temps above 90, except of course when you're moving. So far I am very pleased with this jacket. For the price of $79.95 it's awesome! ($99.95, minus a $10.00 e-mailed coupon and a $10.00 rewards coupon, from my first purchase almost 2 years ago, plus free shipping.) A great deal.
