| Having not ridden a bike for a number of years, and still having my "classic" Bell helmet that looks like it's from the 50's, I decided it was time to upgrade to a modern hat. I considered a Shoei but being fairly novice, I couldn't really justify spending that kind of cash on a helmet without first checking it out in person. Living in a tiny little town in Arkansas, we just do not have shops with helmets. We have to order them in. I read all the reviews. Compared the features of each against each other. I decided to try the Bell Revolver EVO. When I received it I was immediately impressed with the quality of the construction of this hat. Fit of its parts is incredible. It's pretty heavy at a little over 3 lbs but managable. I was advised to get a helmet slightly smaller than I thought I would wear because after "wearing it in", it would loosen up and then be too big. So I got a little smaller one. I took it for it's maiden voyage today. I am amazed that this helmet fits my head so well and is so comfortable. It feels like an extension of my head. The drop down sun visor has the be the invention of the century. The venting is ingenious. If there is anything that I am not absolutely crazy about, it would be that the helmet seals so well and is insulated so well that I can't hear my bike's rumble until I get really slow. I did flip up the visor somewhat to let some of the sound in! There was absolutely No wind leakage around the shield. I can't imagine a Shoei being so much better than this Revolver to justify the extra expense. This Bell even came with a cool carring bag with a Logo to keep the helmet from getting scratched. I highly recommend the Bell Revolver EVO for 2012 ! |

| I'm very pleased with this helmet. I wear contact lenses and the first time I rode with it we had an extremely high pollen count. I had no problems with air swirling inside the helmet and rode comfortably. With a black bike and a black jacket I needed the high visibility yellow. Not only that but my grandchildren said my helmet was cooler than their dad's! |
