I have been wearing the jacket for a week now and it really makes the heat bearable. When it is 93 degrees there is no such thing as cool but when moving the mesh allows the breeze through and helps keep the comfort level within reason. I think the light color helps with the heat from the sun when stopped. A definite recommendation!!!

Great Jacket!! I have used this jacket in weather ranging from 65- 93 degrees. the zip out liner was the key. It blocked the cooler air and with the liner out the mess vented perfectly to keep me cool. It is very light weight and moves with you.(not constraining) Cant beat the price and was delivered in just a few days.

Well made with nce features, the silver color helps to make you more visable to people driving cars. I'm 5'10",175lbs. 42" chest,my shoulders are broad with arms that are a little longer than average and the size large fits me. There's enough room for me to wear a fleece vest under the jacket in colder weather. Remove the liner in warm weather and the jacket has a nice flow of air. I wish it had a reflective strip, but that's very easy to add later. Over all I am very happy with the jacket, and at this price it's a steal. PQ

Good look, great price, good for one slide, Laid down my bike in a low speed crash, wearing the Xelement Igniter. I walked away with minor abrasions on my left arm, the jacket did not survive. Can't use it anymore, but it did its job.

Tough little jacket that can save you lots of cuts and scrapes. My injuries in a recent accident could have been much worse without this jacket. It was well worth the money. The jacket fits well and has many great design features to it. You won't be sorry on this one.

I got this jacket last week and it's be great. I live in South Texas and on a hot summer's day, it feels great. A little warm when your not moving, but it provides ample air flow to keep you cool. Size chart was right on target too! GREAT BUY!

The purchase began with excellent customer service. What I really like is the removable liner! On cold mornings it does a great job of keeping me warm and on warm afternoons it is very easy to remove. Great feature. Good price. Great service. Who could ask for anything more.

Great jacket, but definitely not for cold winter wear. I live in Florida, and on a cold day I thought it would be ok (it was only about 55 F), but man I nearly froze since this jacket breathes so well. For spring and even summer, this would be a great choice...looks cool. I normally wear xl and this jacket fit snug (but good).

Just got the jacket today. Quality is excellent. Zipper could be a little better but overall the jacket fits well and I ordered it large enough to allow a layer underneath if necessary, however I don't think I will have to use a layer underneath. Took less than a week to get delivery. Love it and most of all I love the price. Great deal and i recommend it to anyone. The color matches the color of my bike -- wow I am now color coordinated!

The jacket is perfect. I love the color, the fit, and look. Removable inner thread makes it nice for different climates and temperatures. This jacket is definitely worth the price. Even including shipping costs it still comes to much less than you would pay for such quality material with padding in local stores. Delivery was fast (2days to Canada). Thanks

This jacket is a must have. The fabric allow air to flow freely yet it is durable. Also with the heat of southeast Texas it is great to have a removable liner. The armor in the elbows, shoulders, and back offer more protection. I like the silver color because it helps me to be seen in traffic. This is a very cool jacket.

If you like cuffs you will like this jacket. Unfortunately, I don't. This jacket is high quality, looks cool and a good deal. The cuffs are very thick and tight. I cut them out which isn't easy. If you don't like the cuffs then don't get the jacket. Otherwise it's great.

Overall, this is a great jacket. The material is still rugged enough that it feels like there is still some protection available. The sizing was right on. Airflow through this jacket is good. Something to consider...if you have a windshield, you WILL NOT get full airflow through the jacket. The bigger the windshield, the less torso airflow you will get. The silver color is great on hot sunny days (85-90 degrees) as it deflects a lot of heat away from you making even warmer air fell good. The padding is all of good quality, but the extra back pad blocks most of the torso exit airflow. I removed mine to improve my temperature.

This jacket works well for the ladies too! I wear a size 16 top and size 12 pants, and the Large jacket fit me well. The sleeves were a bit long, but with the inner knit inner cuff and the velcro closure at the wrist, I was able to adjust them to a comfortable fit. The velcro at the sides for the waist also adjust to allow a more custom fit. I tried several jackets on at a local bike shop, and most Ladies jackets were way too short even in the x-large sizes. They may have been OK just for looks while standing around, but for sitting down & riding, there was no way (unless you like a jacket that's bunched-up around your mid-section). Also, the folks at Leaterhup got this jacket to me very quickly. I ordered on a Monday morning & had it by Wed. afternoon!!!

Great value! Very good fit for a trim person. The only thing I don't like about the jacket is the cuff. This is a warm weather jacket and the cuff is not needed. In fact, it keeps air from going up sleeves. No problem...I am going to remove them. I like to feel protected even when it is warm. I wear my other Xelement jacket when it is cool.

| I have been wearing this jacket for about three weeks now, and I am please with what I got for the money. It's a sharp looking and well made jacket, especially for $70! There is really only one thing that I don't like about the jacket, and that is the sleeve cuff lining. It's just too bulky, and makes it kind of annoying getting my hands thru especially with the insulated lining in place. Other than that, I find the jacket very comfortable, well ventilated without the liner, and with the liner its warm enough down to at least 60 degrees. The snaps for keeping the elbow armor in place are excellent; better than the ones on my Teknic jacket
There are some things I should point out though since this is a review. Contrary to the description: there are no zippers on the cuffs (just velcro), there is no elastic in the wasit, there are no zippered vents (but why would you need that in a mesh jacket anyway?!), unless they are refering to the adjustment straps on the sides there is no kidney strap, and lastly, while the Tri-Tex fabric may be waterproof, you will get wet if you ride in the rain wearing this jacket. |

Excellent product for the price. Very fast shipping. A little warm on those muggy 90+ degree Virginia summer days, though air does flow as long as you are moving - miserable in slow traffic. Cuffs are Velcro - not zippered (as advertised), and waist is also Velcro. Order larger than you would normally expect. Decent armor, nice removable quilted liner. Love the silver color!

| Well made and very comfortable with nice features, I also like the Silver color for more visibility but could still use some reflective tape for even more visibility. I'm 6' 2 1/2" and 220 lbs and ordered 2XL and the it fits great, I just wish they would make a water/wind proof liner for it to go along with the quilted liner but this is a great jacket for the Price.

Great jacket at a great price. I'm 6'0" 180lbs and a large fit fine though a little snug in the forearms. I desperately needed a mesh jacket for the summer and this fit the bill perfectly. So far I've purchased 2 jackets from leatherup and both were excellent quality at a great price. I'l'l be back for sure

Good quality , comfortable even with armor in place. On 60 degree windy day rideing in the moutains i felt a little chill even with the liner! Jacket breathes very well. Cuffs inside at end of sleeves are a little snug and may cause sweating around wrists in warmer weather but a good jacket for the money.

I Love this jacket! I bought it for a summer jacket. it will be great for a light armoured, stuff under the trunk one for all except very cold rides here in Iowa! The fit is snug with and wth out the liner. I wear an xL and had to get a XXL it fits perfectly! The detail and stitching is very good! I expect it will last for years! The color is easily seen at night in low light! The only jackets to compare to it at the Yamaha dealer were 3 times the cost! I had to see it to believe it! This jacket is a steal at this price! The cordura should wear very well for a long time as well as being water risitant! My 16 year old grandson said it was Freakin Cool!

I love this jacket!. The zip out lining makes it work well in chilly weather, but for most of the time, the warm weather of Florida requires a jacket that breathes well. This is it! The wind goes through it so well without the lining it really keeps you cool on hot days, and of course the armor provides the protection that hopefully I'll never need.

This is a very comfortable jacket for warm weather riding. I live in deep south Texas and even down here it's nice to have the ventilation so you don't roast. When you are sitting still it can be alittle warm but as soon as you start moving you can feel the breeze. The size chart was alittle off. Order one size larger than you normally wear and you'll do just fine.

I really like the style, color, and the how well the jacket breaths. The bad thing is the inner wrist cuffs. They are really tight. They were designed to keep out cold air but this jacket is definitely a warmer weather jacket. Without the liner, this thing really lets the air flow. With liner in, its makes a great spring jacket. I would not use it in colder weather. It is now at alterations having the inner wrist cuffs removed. If not for this, it would rate five rather than four.

Great value for the money. I just returned from riding with my new jacket. It was comfortable down to low 60s. Very nice in warm temps. I'm sure I'll really like it this summer. Only drawback I don't like the large knit cuffs, but at this price I can fix it. I would highly recommend this jacket. Be sure to order a size larger if you are a big person.
