This is my first bike jacket. I was impressed by the reviews and felt safe with the return policy. Thanks to previous reviews I bought up one size as the other reviews suggested. I am 6'4" and 200lbs. I usually wear large daily clothes so I bought this in XL and it fits great. With all layers it works well. With only the outer armor mesh its a little big though. But it works better so I can wear a hoody or something warm underneath in the winter. I just rode it in 45degrees and stayed warm.... except every other part of my body.
I ordered this tuesday at 10pm, it shipped the next morning and arrived early Saturday morning. Fantastic how fast i arrived for FREE shipping. Well done leatherup.com.
I would recommend this item and website to others.

Awesome jacket. Great fit. Took advice of some of the posters and got jacket 2 sizes larger than I normally purchase for a jacket. Made for a great fit at the waist and the sleeves while wearing a hooded sweater underneath.
Three linings makes for perfect winter wear while being able to adjust for ventilation. Lots of pockets to store phone, wallet, combs, et cetera. There are different ways to adjust the fit on the arms and at the waist. Good glow in the dark for night time riding.
Also love the armor pieces and the overall comfort for a great price.

this is a great jacket! It has 3 liners so you can go out in layers and just peal some off as it gets warmer throughout the day. I got this jacket 2 sizes larger and I'm glad I did. I think this would make a great 3 season jacket. add a heated vest and its good for all 4 seasons.

Very nice jacket. Less than half the price you'd pay for similar ones at a local bike shop. Mesh lining makes it very comfortable too. Keeps you nice and cool even on the hottest days. I do a lot of riding at night, so the reflective design is a must. Ordered my exact size and the jacket fit perfectly.

Good quality and very versatile. 6'-0" and 195lbs. I wear a 42-45 suit coat and ordered the XL. Fits good and without the liners may be a little large but with the liners fits fine. Mesh allows for good air flow. Overall I would have no problem recommending.

Wonderfull Jacket, I am 5'9", 160, got a large size and it fits perfect (Hope I don't put up some pounds). Very very warm, three way lining, there is a web with the armor, a rain jacket inside and the outter jacket... too much? No air, cold or anything will get in and if you take them out, they would probably fold so small you can place them enywhere.
I now have to figure out how to keep my face and legs just as warm.
It looks a lot better than in the description. just beautifull...
Not bullky at all... except maybe elbows when bending the arm... but fantasctic in riding position... No one that sees you will now is armored!
I have not removed armor... don't think it would ever be necessary, the jacket is not heavy at all (compared to my other jackets)
Zippers easy to get even with gloves and shaky hands after riding.
I would definitlely recommend the jacket!
Pockets inside and out are great on both sides...
Couldn't be more satisfied with the jacket... I would pay anything to be safe... It seems they do not charge enough ;)

Nice jacket, great for warm weather riding. Order bigger, though. I'm a size large for street clothes, and usually get a XL for motorcycle jackets. Couldn't even squeze into it, so had to get a XXL. Happy with the jacket now, though.

I don't know what all these other people have problems with about this jacket (it fits too small ect.). I went on the size chart, measured my chest size and ordered according to that. My chest size was a 42 or 43 so I ordered a Large. It DID fit snug and I like it that way. YOU DONT WANT A LOOSE JACKET HANGING OFF YOU! So if you like a loose jacket then by all means, order a size bigger. If you want it to stay on in a crash order the right size :). I wear a size Large for regular cloths and I ordered a size Large in this and it fits like a glove! It could be a little warmer, but I live in Florida so I really don't care too much hahaha. And when you take out the lining it fits pretty loose (well looser than when its in). I will say this.. I'm about 6'1" and 213lbs. They do run a BIT short (length). They wernt made for a really tall person. I think it JUST fits me (as far as length goes). So if your tall, go leather and stay away from this material.. All the jackets in this material are the same length. But I LOVE THIS JACKET. Can't beat 3 layers and with a WATERPROOF LAYER! I would recomend this to anyone who's looking for a GREAT jacket at a GREAT PRICE!

This jacket saved my a**...Took a fall at about 50 MPH on the freeway with only small rash on elbow and waste..The jacket is a gonner, but hey, thats what it is made for. Unfortunately, I did not have gear on my legs so you can see a bit of kneecap on the left side.. (Get protective pants!!!)
Other than this jacket saving me from some MAJOR issues and doing its job wonderfully, it also breaths really well on a hot day (-liners of course!)..My buddies in their leathers were jealous.. On top of that, the warmth liners REALLY work on a cold day- the both of them together work almost too good. The only minor issue I had is that my left elbow pad did not sit (hug) my elbow on the left side that well, which was a bit annoying. Over time I it worked itself out tho.
All in all this jacket is AMAZING, and you can bet I will be buying another one...Just as soon as I get my bike back up and running.... RIDE SAFE, WEAR GEAR!!

I was a bit torn between rating it a 3 and a 4. Overall I like the jacket, but I have had issues with the mesh on the inside tearing. Also, I ordered an XL and I usually wear L in street clothes and it was still a bit small. It fit well and snug when I had it on, but it was short, so when I rode my supersport bike it would ride up my back and expose my lower back, even after adjusting the straps quite a bit. I really liked the armor and the reflective piping. The liner did not stay very well in the jacket and made it difficult to get in and out of. The straps that hold the arms in place inside the jacket broke within a week of wearing it. The rain liner works well since I made a few trips in some wet weather. Most of the time I took out the elbow armor because it became uncomfortable. All the armor is held in place inside the mesh liner (not removable) with velcro closure. Another thing that bothered me was the liner was mesh and it was somewhat irritating on my arms. I would have preferred a cloth, lightweight liner instead. Overall, its a good jacket and it holds up, just a few issues with the liner and the length. Be sure to order larger than what you wear in street clothes.
