Umm.. WOW! Just bought my first bike and found out about the site form a friend. I was nervous about ordering online, but all I can say is WOW! Saying great quality for the price doesn't do it justice! Ordered pre-dawn Friday morning received the shipment early Tuesday evening. I'm around a size 38-40 chest, ordered the Large and it's a GREAT fit, could have maybe even gone the next size up. I'm 6'0'' 170lbs and love this jacket and I haven't even rode in it yet. It's starting to scorch here in L.A., so I took out the inner liner and can already tell it'll be a good ride in it. I like it so much I might try to wear it even when I don't ride. Good quality, good stitching, simply no complaints.

Great Jacket. With the zip out liners, you have a jacket to wear in a wide variety of weather. It has been over 90 degrees, and with just the outside mesh coat, it is very comfortable. Shipping was fast. Will order from LeatherUp again without hesitation.

This jacket is pretty nice for summer riding. Having the three layers really helps with your comfort level. The padding is just that, padding. Its' nothing really great but it'll help a little bit if you ever happen to have a small accident. On the plus side, just about everything is removable and adjustable, so customization is nice. There is a zipper in the mid to lower back area that I assume is for sewing on chaps and the like. The zipper itself may be a little uncomfortable.

Very happy with the jacket. "Armor is more like padding, (foam not molded plastic). Great for hot city riding, don't if it would hold up at a 60 mph slide on the highway, but thats not what I got it for. With the mesh the way it is, it actually feels cooler riding with it than without it at times.

The jacket arrived today, it was 90 degrees out. I removed the linings and went for a ride. The air flow was so nice I was even sweating. The fit was real nice and the jacket looks great on.

| This is simply the best jacket I've owned. I just took this on a 900 mile trip from Minnesota into Canada and encountered temps from 44 degrees to nearly 100 degrees and was comfortable the whole time. I got a chance to test the waterproof liner as well, and it works!
Thanks for a great product! |

Great jacket for the money. I live in San Diego, and the mesh is awesome, if you take out the inner lining in the heat you won't even notice you're wearing a jacket. A couple of slight issues with the jacket, first if you use the inner lining you'll probably want to wear a long sleeve t shirt under it otherwise it'll be a little uncomfortable since the inner lining is basically a rain proof piece of rubber. Also, the neck is too tight, if you're planning on snapping that button shut at the top make sure you have a scrawny neck :). Other than that this jacket is excellent, well worth the money, and the armor in the jacket feels like it would give sufficient protection.

Bought this jacket for my 22 yo son who absolutely loves how versatile and light-weight it is. With the lining it is perfect for cool Michigan mornings and nights; without the lining, he says it's like not wearing a jacket at all because it is so breathable.

Good jacket, so far. I hope it lasts a long time. It is very light and comfortable. The air does go right through it. I think in some ways it keeps me cooler with it on then with just a t-shirt when moving. I have always rode with just a t-shirt in the summer and am trying to get used to riding with a jacket; and I'm having good success. It doesn't compare in construction to some jackets, but they all cost much more, sometimes hundreds. It is well worth the money.

80 degrees with the liner out - very cool, feels like the air is being funneled right into me. 50 degrees with liner in is very comfortable. Haven't had it in the rain yet. Armor positioned well in shoulders and elbows. Arm adjustments are great. I'm 6'1" 190# and normally wear a 42 long in sports jackets. I ordered the extra large size and it fits just fine. Great value for the money. Wife says it looks good!!

Great jacket!!! The zip out liner makes the jacket so nice. Armour placed in great spots but it doesnt "pop" out like some of the others--plus in my opinion. All around superb riding jacket.

The only thing I would change is the way the liners go into the jacket. You can't use the vest liner without the waterproof liner, and there are times where that would be all that is needed. If you live in a humid climate, the waterproof liner can be a bit much. That said, I really like the fit and finish of this jacket. The breathable shell works well even here in Florida on a 90 degree day, and the armor should go a long way in keeping road rash away.

this is a nice jacket. the wording in the discription is a little misleading in that the quilted lining is buttoned to the zip out waterproof lining. I have enjoyed wearing it without the liner in this hot ga sunshine.
