| Absolutely a great jacket! Couldn't be happier! Surprisingly heavy. Good quality (as is everything else made by Xelement that I own), with a fit and finish superior to any of the other jackets I've purchased over the years.
Now here's a tip for everyone that is questioning size. You have 2 choices. Order your size and wear it either without the armor or without the liner (not both) and enjoy a comfortable jacket that you'll love OR order 1 size larger and wear your jacket with both the liner and the armor and run the risk of having a jacket that is a little too long in the sleeves or baggy around the mid section. I went with the correct size and LOVE the fit after removing the liner... and truthfully, I don't find it terribly uncomfortable with the liner in. I suspect I can wear it with liner and armor together after I get a chance to break the jacket in a little. |

| I must say I was very surprised with the quality of this jacket. It is off the hook!! I spent months browsing the motorcycle shops trying to find a good fit only to be dissapointed with an outrageous price. For the price I spent on this jacket I was very skeptical about the quality. Let me just say, it fits better, feels better and looks better than any that I have tried on. I am 5'9" and 205 lbs with athletic build and the XL fit me perfect. If you on the fence about the quality of this product, purchase with confidence. Thanks for offering great quality at a great price! I'll be back. |

The jacket is surprisingly heavy - in a good way. The venting works great. It has been unusually hot here the last couple months. I pulled the lining out and keep the vents closed on the way in to work, open them up on the way home and I'm perfectly comfortable (as long as I keep moving) in 90 degree heat.

| Nice jacket for the dollar! Good, heavy leather with plenty of pockets to put stuff. The removable liner is decent. Big zipper vents are nice. The extra armor is nice. It'll buy you a few more seconds of skin. Size chart says it all. I'm a good sized fella and have a 52 inch chest. 3xl was a perfect fit. |

This is a superior product for the money, and lives up to everthing that was adveritsed.One idea though would be to show an open jacket picture to show the liner and how well made it is. Also it would show the inside button up flap on the inside zipper side.I have a larger size neck and this became a problem as soon as i put it on, zipped and unzipped.I had to slightly alter this and now completelly love the jacket, THANKS LeatherUp!! |

| This jacket exeeded my expectations! After searching for over a year, I couldn't find anything even close to this as far as quality for the price. Not only is there armor in the elbows and shoulders, as noted in the item description, there is also removable armor in the back. The elbow and shoulder armor is also removable. The weight is heavy. The zippers are very smooth. There are two inside zippered pockets. There are three outside zippered pockets. It is warm without the lining. There are two zippered vents in the front and one on the back. I usually wear XL, sometimes L, but I am glad I ordered 2XL. Great fit, I am very satisfied with this jacket! Very reasonable shipping cost & received within a week to Florida from California. Highly recomended! |

| This is the first time I'd ever ordered a jacket without being able to try it on first, so needless to say I was a bit skeptical. I recieved it today, and was pleasantly surprised. I found the jacket to be quite weighty, yet comfortable at the same time. Another reviewer stated that if you ordered your actual size and took either the lining or the armor out, it would be a perfect fit, and he was absolutely right. I wear an XL-- with both the lining and the armor in, I found the jacket to be a little tight, but not overly constricting. After taking the armor out (after all it's about to blizzard here- I wont be riding any time soon) and leaving the lining in, I found the jacket to be very comfortable and incredibly warm. I'm sure that with the armor in and the lining out, it will be the same way. If you do want both the lining and the armor in, it's best to order a size bigger and have it a little baggy in the chest area. All in all, a great jacket for the price! |

| Great high quality jacket. Thick leather. Lots of armor. It comes with armor in the back as well which was a pleasant surprise as it's not mentioned in the ad. All armor is removable. The zippers are very good quality and there are plenty of pockets. The insulated liner goes in the sleeves as well. Note that with the armor and liner in, the jacket is kind of tight in the arms and I'm an "average" size guy (5'9" 165 lbs.). In my opinion, if you're going to wear just the liner or just the armor get your normal size. If you plan on wearing both at the same time, get one size larger. Or just cut the sleeves off the removable liner. |

| I usually wear an XL and I ordered a 2XL and it fits great. The leather is very comfortable and it is a nice heavy leather that makes you feel safe. I also love the zip out lining, zipper vents, and all the pockets on it. This will definitely be a much worn jacket! I would buy again from this site in a heart beat! |

| I've been riding for over 30 years and I normally wear a large and that's what I purchased. The fit is snug, I'm 6' 185, but it's comfortable. There's lots of pockets and it's nice and warm. The quality is first rate, something similar to a jacket going for four or five times the price. I like the style of jacket, it doesn't make you look like a Sha-Na-Na reject. |

| Very good jacket. It weighs about 5-6 pounds. The inner-liner is worthless for warmth, as it is about the thickness of a t-shirt, but in my opinion that doesn't detract from the value of this jacket. One thing the description doesn't mention is that it has thick plastic zippers, which I think is a great idea because I've had metal zippers strip out in the past.
Also, I saw a lot of mention of what size you should buy. For what it's worth, I'm 5'11", 175 pounds, slender/athletic build, and a size Large fits me perfectly. I don't like jackets too baggy or too tight, and the size Large is just right, with OR without the thick-foam armor plates in the shoulders, elbows, and back. |

It has pad in the elbows, back and shoulders, that seem kind of overkill at first, until you right on the freeway and you know you have great protection on if something does happen. I bought a size larger than what I usually wear and it fit great with a T-shirt on and is very warm in non-freezing temps. Leather is thick and offers great protection if you ever need it. Very happy with this purchase. |

I was SO wrong, I'm normally size large so that's what I ordered and the fit is great, not too tight its perfect. | Great Coat overall. Wife really likes it on me (and she does not care for "biker" jackets). I am 5'-09" 150, 39 chest, 32-3 arm, medium slender build and took a medium (sent back the large). I can wear it with both the armor and with the liner. Go figure. Sleeve cuffs and neck are larger circumference than "usual", but doubt if alteration is worth the trouble or cost. Larger neck accomodates my personal liner** better. Side waist cinch of some type would be nice but have not had any trouble for lack of such. Have ridden in 36-40 degree F temps**. THANKS! |

| This is an excelent product as far as I can tell so far. The leather is thick so it resist the wind extremely well. It is bulky with the armor in but with the elbo and back pads removed it is comforatable. As recomended by the reviews that I read I ordered it one size larger; and am I glad! | This is the first leather jacket I have ever purchased, I got it to go with my first motorcycle. Anyways, I paid @109.95 - %10 off and I feel like I got a fair deal. The jacket looks and feels great on, I love the vents, and I like the removable liner.
As for the size, I measure 38"... on the recommendation of reviewers here I bought a large when I normally would have purchased a medium. For me, buying a size bigger wasn't to great of an idea, it is obvious that the jacket is too big for me. As for the quality, I think you get what you pay for. A button that holds the sleeve of my liner broke off after a couple of days.
Finally, the jacket was made in Pakistan. After looking around, I have noticed a few jackets in stores identical to mine... but with a different logo than Xelement sewn onto the back. So, these are jackets made oversees for different people to slap their own name on. You could probably find a jacket in town for close to the same price made by the same people, only you would have the luxury of trying it on before you order. My friend bought a jacket right after I bought mine. That's what he did. |

| I ordered it on Tuesday at 11p and it was on my door step on Friday at 2p. The jacket is very thick, heavy, and heavily armoured. A little snug in the neck but fits beautifully in the body. An absolutely great price and cost far less than its worth. Very warm and comfortable. A great buy. I would buy it again and again. |

| Great customer service, great jacket. I am usually an XL 6'4" tall and 175 pounds. I ordered the 2XL as recommended and it fits perfectly. When I got the jacket I noticed on the first ride the zipper pull had fallen off from the sleeve zipper. I called customer service and they told me to go to my local cleaner and send them the bill. $17 was immediately credited to my credit card. Leatherup.com is amazing. The arms on this jacket are skinnier than other jackets I have owned and was down-right tight on my skinny arms with the armor installed. If you've got big guns or long arms, definitely buy something else or go up a size or two. The arms are shorter than my other Xelement leather jacket by about an inch, so it's shortish especially with the shoulder armor in. I was really looking for an unarmored jacket, so this was not a problem. I removed all of the armor and the jacket fits nicely. I am 6' 3" and 190 lbs and I do really like the jacket. |

| This is a great jacket. The leather feels great and it seems to have heavy duty hardware. The zipout lining and vents truly make this an all weather jacket. I've ridden on some pretty hot days and this has been a comfortable jacket. The armor seems pretty light and doesn't interfere with my movement. I'm 6'2", 165 lb and ordered an XL. Without the lining, the jacket seems a little big for me, but the shoulders fit well and the arms are the perfect length, so I can live with it being slightly baggy. |

| It's a good, heavy jacket that fits snug, so order up a size or 2. My only issue is that 2 of the zippers were broken when i got the jacket. 1 was for the liner, which i hardly plan on using anyways so it's not a big deal. The other is the main zipper for the jacket where 1 tooth is broken off near the horizontal seam in the jacket. The zipper will zip all the way up, with a little persuasion at that point, so the zipper isn't totally useless. Otherwise it seems to be a good jacket. I wouldn't returned it but they mostly sold out of 2x in just about every jacket, and currently this one also. I needed something to keep me warm and for the price, i'll live with these imperfections. |

I am 6'0 208 and I followed others suggestions and went up a size from XL to XXL and I am glad I did. I don't think an XL would have fit me through the shoulders and chest. | Fantastic bargain! It fits snugly and feels very secure. Jacket is true to size so if you plan on adding layers underneath, you'll want to go for a size bigger. If it helps, I'm approximately 6'1'' and 210 lbs but I'm built with a stocky frame and I'm not overweight. Went riding the other day in lower 50's temps and only wore a layer of fleece underneath the jacket and I felt just fine. Can zip out the liner in the summer and open up the air vents for a cooler ride. Can't stress this enough, its a great jacket! |

| WOW!. Nice leather, excellent cut, armor is light & subtle. Fit is fine, as with most jackets one size up from your shirt size is a good fit. Stitiching looks a little weak, will watch the seams; shoulder gussets could be bigger, but it's better than a straight cut. For its price ($139), well worth it. I treat all my leather with Passier Lederbalsam; leather is soft as can be, should last years as long as stitching holds up. |

| I ordered a size larger than normal and it fits pretty snug. I removed the shoulder pads because they were uncomfortable and that improved the overall fit of the jacket. Overall it seems like a nice jacket for the money. The only complaints were the shoulder pads and the zipper on the liner was a little flimsy. |

| This jacket appears to be well built and certainly a great price. My issues were that I ordered 2 sizes bigger (had to return the first at my cost) and the snap neck closure is 1/2" too short so I can;'t close it without choking. Will have to be redone somehow. Can't leave it flapping!! Otherwise, pretty darn good. |

| The quality of this jacket is fantastic, and for the price it is even more unbelievable. Very comfortable with or with out the removable armor and with the zip out liner you have the added flexibility of added warmth in cold weather like we have in the Pacific Northwest plus zippered vents for warm days. I normally ware a large in a coat size but found the best fix with this jacket was 2XL. |

This is a lot heavier jacket than I expected, and more padding. As someone else stated, the liner is a bit on the thin side, but other than that, it's everything I was looking for. I followed the other reviewers advice and bought a size larger than normal and it fit great. I would like to see the jacket have adjusters at the waist and cuff but other than that, it's very nice. |

| Great heavy jacket. Got it for christmas and we actually ordered three different styles and i liked this one best by far. It is very warm (i took it twenty miles at 75mph while the mercury was somewhere in the 20's) and the mesh liner and big vents look like they will keep me cool in the summer. Has armor in the back too. The only thing i wasnt crazy about is that when i got it, it smelled pretty funky-not just like leather, but sort of like bear grease too. Anyways, it is airing out quickly and you simply cant beat the value. Oh, and everyone was right, ordering a size up isnt a bad idea, especially if you want to wear a sweatshirt under your jacket. |
