| This jacket is worth every penny. It provides all-around protection and looks great. BUY A SIZE UP from what you normally wear as it is snug. I wore it without the liner in very muggy 98 degree weather with the vents open and I was not hot at all. The jacket channels the wind around your body when the vents are open and this wicks away the heat. I also road with the liner in and the vents closed in 40 degree NH riding and my torso was toasty warm. I only wish there was matching chaps and gloves! |

| I ordered this jacket as a replacement for a short style, general purpose riding jacket. It was delivered in a short time after placiing my order. The workmanship is execellent and the fit was perfect when ordering one size up. No need for bulky layering as the jacket fits snug but not tight. I was concerned about the lining but that concern was dispelled today with my first ride in cool air. NO LEAKS, very windproof at 60 mph and 50 degrees(don't know about the waterproof aspect yet). I like the contoured arms and the wrist closures. I hope I don't have to find out about the armor and removable padding! Thanks Leather Up for another great product and buy! |

| I was looking for an armored jacket prior to leaving in a week for an 800 mile trip to Yellowstone. Upon seeing this one, reading about the features, as well as reading other reviews, I ordered one, then called a good friend of mine who was looking for the same style jacket, also going to Yellowstone, and ordered two. The order was delivered in four days in time for the trip and was more than we expected. Both of us were very pleased! I'd recommend it to anyone, keeping in mind to heed to others including myself, and order one size larger than normal, as they do run small. Keep up the great job of offering great products at reasonable prices. |

| Pretty good jacket... Especially for the price. I tried wearing it in 100 degrees and of course that was way too hot to be comfortable in but the 80 degrees and less days it's great without the liner... still haven't worn it with the iner. A couple frayed strings, but easily fixed. Great jacket. pads aren't terribly comfortable but they're good too. |

| Very good price on an above average jacket. Excellent for 40 degree rides with liner in. Fit is on and accurate with size chart. At 290# and 4XL the jacket allows excellent freedom of movement needed in checking blindspots and surroundings without feeling choked or restricted. Things move quickly on a 1.4 liter crotch rocket and your gear must work with you. This jacket does work functionally and at a fair price. |

Works great with the liner in for the cool morning rides in the 40's and comfortable without the liner into the upper 80's. | This jacket is amazing! I'm really glad I took the advise of ordering a size bigger too. I ride a Ducati superbike and the jacket is made perfectly for this riding position. Riding in 40 degree wether is no problem with the liner in the jacket and 80 degrees without. Great look great feel and great price, I'm buying another one for my girlfriend to wear. |

| Very nice jacket! Don't buy one of those $200.00 jobs from a dealership, this one will do the job nicely. Nice and warm as well as comfortable, even with the armor in place. Great for warmer weather as well.
Glad I took the others recommendation to order one size up or it would have been too tight.
Details don't mention it but there is a back zipper to attach to riding pants. |

| Very nice, an excellent value. I ordered one size up from my normal shirt size, and it fits well. The armor and liner take up a significant amount of room.
Front vent zippers are easy to adjust while riding.
Feels solidly built, very comfortable on the bike - a little stiff off of it, at least new, but who cares? :)
Whoever designed it knew what they were doing. I shouldn't have waited... I'm very pleased with it. |

| Comfortable and warm, even in cool weather. Looks great as well. the adjustable velcro on the cuffs and waist make it fit snug and keeps wind out. At 6'2" 170 the XL was a good fit for me, even with longer arms the length is just right. Vents help keep you cool in warmer weather but the jacket keeps wind out to keep you warm. Great jacket at an even better price. |

| This jacket is a great jacket all around. I wore it for a full season last year and here is what I found.
Central New York - Syracuse
Early Spring (May01) to Early Summer(June15) - Started with quilted liner in and quilted moved to wearing a fleece underneath and no liner and perfectly happy with the warmth.
Summer (June15 to Sept15) - No liner, T-Shirt underneath and sweated quite a bit in city traffic. The stop and go really warmed this jacket up. However, fully vent at 20mph the jacket cool back down. I can honestly say, RAIN PROOF! Many times I took my ER-6n through the trenches of rain in CNY and stayed dry every time with this jacket
Fall (Sept15 to Oct15ish) - Moved back to wearing fleece. The days bounced a lot in temp so having the liner in at the time was a no go.
Late Fall to Early Winter - With the liner in, this jacket extended my riding season in CNY to Dec 21st!
All said, great jacket; little warm in the stop and go.

| I ordered my first motorcycle jacket a couple of weeks ago and this was the one i chose. When my jacket arrived, it had a cut on the back reflector. I called customer service, they emailed me a return fedex label. When i mailed the jacket back, i called customer service back and they immediately shipped me another jacket. I received my first jacket on a friday and my replacement arrived 1 week later. Awesome service and i absolutely love the jacket. I could not have made a better choice for my first riding jacket. Do order a size up also! My father is thinking about ordering him one just like it now!!! |

| Just got this one, ordered a size up and I probably would've been fine with my regualr medium. Im 6', 150lbs and the large is just a smidge too large. It's unfortunate that the armor pieces don't seem to be in quite the right spot all of the time, they tend to move around. The jacket fits pretty well though. |

| Thisnjacket is outstanding! I have been riding regularly in the low to mid 40's and with the liner in, I am plenty warm with just a shirt underneath. I, also, ordered one size up. The only problem was that I had to exchange twice. 1st time the zipper was faulty, and the 2nd the wrist closure was missing. The exchanges were simple, though and now that I have a good jacket it was well worth the wait. I highly recommend this jacket. Thanks Leather up. | The Xelement Black and grey Tri-Tex-Fabric jacket I recently purchased is outstanding. The advice from other purchasers to go up one size was followed. I usually wear Xtra large and I ordered 2XL. The waist needed to be adjusted to it smallest setting to fit correctly. I guess I need to enlarge my gut. If you are in shape I do not think it is necessary to order on size larger. I like the neck feels soft when you fasten it up close. If I was going to ride any longer I might think about layering under the jacket. I also got one size larger. I wear a large jacket, I made a mistake and bought an 2x the first time. It was to big. Sold it to my friend. I got the extra large. Fit fine. Realy nice jacket. Price makes it even better. |

Even got stuck in a surprise rain storm, and kept me dry, though the rest of me was soaked. Lots of reflective patches for evening riding. With the zip out liner jacket will have wide range of temps that jacket will work. I was happy I went up a size. I wear a Medium, but from everyone's recommendation ordered the Large and was happy I did. I'm 5' 5" and 170 LBs (athletic build) and jacket fits great. Order came fast. I ordered two sizes up and besides the arms, it was a tad large. I have big arms though.
I am 5'11 200 lbs.
I can wear a tight leather jacket underneath though, and thats a plus... it's really warm then. I rode at 70mph in 45 degree weather for 1 hour and never got chilly.
Very nice product.
The cuffs velcro awesome as does the waist.
I still recommend gauntlet gloves if you are going to be riding in temps under 50...it's not an absolute must....just better.
I usually just wear a tshirt under this but with it being a little large it gets cool under about 60 degrees at high speeds on long rides.
No regrets on this jacket. Looks great when wearing too.
It doesnt fold 'really' compact due to the armor, but with the right creativity you can get it down to about the size of a pillow folded in half....which I do on warm days and I know a cold nights coming. I do a lot of cool/cold night riding and ordered this jacket specifically for that...so far so good.
Cant say how it will do below 40 yet....but as good as anything I suspect.

| Really like the zipper vents in the arms and chest on hot days. Very comfortable in the cool nights. Have not tried the liner yet as the jacket worked well on a 60 degree evening. Don't feel restricted by the Padding in the elbows, shoulders and back. Shipped very fast(ordered on a Sunday night and had it Wednesday afternoon). I am usually a Medium/Large and was please on how the Large fit when I bumped a size as suggested by other reviews. |

The weather was in the 90's when we left, we arrived in Nh to rain and weather in the low 60's. The following day we hit the remnants of hurricane Danny.....needless to say, we say alot of rain with flooding in Bar Harbor! | Bought this jacket in June 2009, On September 1st I was wearing it on the way to work. At 6:45 in the morning I was doing approx 55-60 MPH when a deer decided to jump a guard rail and where she landed was where me and my Harley dresser was at the same time! I bailed off the bike and hit the road sliding/rolling until I came to a stop. Looking up I saw my bike skidding up and across the road. After realizing what happened I was amazed at how this jacket withstood the "road rash"-no marks on my upper torso!! The jacket sustained holes in the sleeves and at the shoulder but I was able to get up without any scratches or bruising. Buy this jacket, I am ordering another one!! Remember to up-size your order. Oh the deer didn't make it! |

| The jacket i ordered was the CF-350, but the jacket i recieved was the more expensive # CF-330. I was not charged the difference and I am completely satisfied. It is a very well made,quality jacket and is comfotable. The advice of others is right, order 1 size up as it is tighter at the waist but proportioned well. | First, the jacket is a bit snug even when I ordered one size up. This struck me as odd because the other Xelement jacket I ordered at the same time fits roomily and is the same size. That said, I can't fault the jacket at all. It was a B-day gift that my daughter paid for to extend my riding season until the snow starts to fall and it really seems quite warm and weatherproof. I haven't had to test that out yet. The liner zips in and out easily and the description of the jacket covers all the high points. Shipping was fast and reasonable! |

| Nice jacket, well made. Very adjustable. This is my first riding jacket with vents, and I don't know how I survived without them. It's not noticeable while riding, but the jacket is a little stiff with the pads in. It says the fabric is breathable, and maybe it is, but not like a piece from an outdoor company like North Face or Marmot - but the vents make up for that. I worried it might not look right with my black leather chaps, but they look good together. I get compliments on the look from my buddies, and they are more impressed with all the features. Recomended! |

| I think this is an excellent jacket for the price. I couldn't be much happier with it. It would be wise to order a size up from your shirt size. The armor isn't completely firm but feels sufficient.
The only thing that has bugged me has been the collar is a little scratchy around my throat. I just loosen it up a lot and it isn't a problem.

| This is an excellent jacket for my needs. I scooter in Vermont and need the flexibility of a jacket with a removable liner, ample ventilation and wind and cold resistance. All this while offering protection and comfort. This jacket satisfies all of these needs for me. It is well made and will certainly last me for a long time. My only criticism is the sizing and you have seen this in other reviews. I had to order two sizes larger than the size I wear in any other jacket. It took me two tries to get it right! Considering the excellent price though, it was still well worth it. |

| I'm happy with the jacket overall, and very satisfied with what I paid for it. But as *MANY* have noted, buy a size up from what you expect. As far as riding in warm weather without the liner, and cold weather with the liner, it works as well as you would hope. Matching gloves and chaps would be awesome. With consistent pricing to the value of the jacket, I'd buy them in a minute. If you are wondering, I gave it a 4 star, only because they don't do half-stars (I would have given 4.5). My gripe is the sizing. Online buyers should not have to second guess this most important detail and going back and forth if you get it wrong is a major pain and waste of time/shipping expense. |

| I ordered this for use as a summer jacket. I ordered XXL and the arm length was great. As others have said, the waist is tight and I wish the cuffs had a snugger fit. I've worn it with the liner in 50F weather and without in 95F and was very comfortable in both conditions.
I would have given it 5 stars if the fit were better.

| I got this for my birthday and it has exceeded my expectations. I ordered two sizes up as directed and it fits perfectly. All of the zippers have tabs so they are easy to grasp with gloves on. | I really like the cordura motorcycle jacket. I ordered according to the chart using my leather jacket as a guide but it was still too small. My neighbor is a a couple of sizes smaller than I am so I sold it to him and ordered a larger one. I would say that it is 2 sizes larger than my leather jacket. Other than that, I have worn it on a couple of days when it was just too hot to wear leather and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the jacket was. |

| This jacket is a wonderful purchase. You definitely need to order one size larger than you wear. The jacket is a little stiff when you first receive it, but breaks in wonderfully. I have used it in 40 degree weather up to 85 degree weather and been happy with it. I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends. |

| They Jackst is excellent, They Only Problem I had was on the return policy. I originally ordered the Jacket 1 size Larger than normal on Feb 21 had to return it for 2 sizes larger which I did the very next day after recieving Feb 27 and Didn't get the Jacket back until March 18, i wear a 3xl in a jacket and had to get a 5xl it was to tight in my shoulders and arms just make sure you look into getting at the very least 1 size larger and possibly 2 if you are a bigger person, outside of them waiting 5-7 working days to reprocess every thing was great including the original shipping time, i will order from Leatherup again i will just be more mindful of the sizes. |

| Love the jacket, took 8 business days to get to my house though? The quality of the jacket is fantastic for the price, fits me nicely, like everyone says to, do order a size up. Even one size may not be enough, but it should still be tight, up to you. I'm not a huge fan of the shoulder armor, they seem to not sit on my shoulder right and make me feel like i have to keep pushing them back up when I'm wearing it, so i just took them out. Otherwise I'm very pleased, thanks leatherup! |

You really don't notice the shoulder and elbow pads once you have it on, but it's nice to know they are there if you take a fall. | I like the jacket but the sizing chart is a bit off so I had to return for an exchange. I wanted something not leather for those weather periods where it was way too hot for leather but I had something on that still provided protection and adequate ventilation. At the present time this jacket appears to be the right solution.
I am pleased to say that the process appears to be easily handled for the exchange. I was notified by email that the jacket was received at the return center and that a new one is in transit but we are waiting for the return to pass judgment. |

| I think the jacket is great, the only downside is the zippered pockets. I got the handle bar of my bike caught in the zipper compartment when I lost the bike coming of a corner on loose dirt, the handle bars tore the zipper vent to pieces. However with 500 lbs pulling on them, what did I expect. The jacket held up nicely otherwise and I look forward to getting it stitched and ride using it more.
My only suggestion would be to take the flaps cloths attached to the zippers off and keep your arm vents half open as they do catch plenty of air while riding but too much and they flap some. |

I own a 1XL leather jacket but needed something a bit cooler. Fits well and looks even better for the price. Definate good buy. Returned Other jacket for a size up.. Leatherup was very good at getting me everything and processing the order. I am 6'4" and 280, I ordered a 5XL. I normally wear a 2XL shirt as a baggy shirt. Keep this in mind when sizing. |

| I was skeptical about ordering a size larger than usual, but everyone is right. I wear Large but order XL and it fit perfectly. The inner lining adds extra bulk but living in Southern California I won't be using it. Well designed but the armor is not thick so if you want something for a heavy crash, look elsewhere or buy separate armor. |

Its really too short, but I think part of the problem is that the armor is poofed a little from shipping. I think once it flattens out it will fit just barely. I need to lose a few pounds, so if I do I'm sure it will be OK, but definitely order LARGER if your a big guy!! Fed Ex ground was a little slow, took over a week. But still cannot complain, its a GREAT price, I will definitely buy again! |

| I love this thing, it looks good and stays at a comfortable temperature all the time. Ive had it on some pretty cold rides and it doesnt let anything through. In a nice warm room its always comfortable unzipped. Pretty good range of motion, breaks in well. Your neck will be exposed though, I wish it had a zipout neck extention but thats about it, for the price you just cant beat this jacket. |

| Couldn't really ask for more for the price. One of the vent zippers seemed defective at first, but it loosened up after several uses. The sleeves are a little snug around my arms even with the liner removed, and my arms are not that big. The pads are not that substantial either. Overall still a great jacket though, and I'm pretty satisfied for what I paid. |

| OK...I read all the reviews before I ordered and thought, "Yeah...whatever!" Believe them, believe me, this is a GREAT jacket...quality all the way, and WAY better looking than the photos...seriously! Just get the jacket...one size larger than normal. Real motorcycle jackets aren't supposed to flap around in the wind, so most of us are not used to buying something that actually fits our "svelte" bodies like a glove...one size bigger and pull the trigger on the purchase...you won't be sorry! |

| Great Jacket. Just came back from a one day, 14 hour, 500 mile ride up Washington coast and Hood Canal area. Got caught after dark, a bit unprepared. This and the hooded sweatshirt I brought were all I needed to keep me comfortable. Caught some icy rain on the way home but Jacket kept out all the weather.
Plenty of vents, pockets and closures to satisfy anyones needs.
As suggested by most reviewers, I purchased 1 size bigger. I bought a 3XL, normally wearing a 2XL and it fits very well.
Zip out the insulated liner and it appears you have a great summer jacket with no loss of armour or protection.
As nice or better than jackets I looked at costing 3 times as much.

| Fits well. Ordered a Med, and I'm about 5'9", 170. I would order a Large, but I like it a little tighter and it zips to my pants, so at least it stays down. Little warm when temp is above 80, but the vents help out TONS as long as you're moving. Little bit of advice, don't open the arm vents when traveling at hwy speeds. They act like a sail and pull pretty hard on your arms. And you cannot get another jacket at this price! Great deal! |

We had to send the first one back because I usually wear a large and it was too small but the turn-around was pretty quick and it was well worth the wait! Make sure you order the next size up from what you normally wear but DO order this jacket because you won't find a better deal anywhere else for a quality piece of gear like this! It's a little warm for summertime wear here in the Atlanta area even without the liner but I feel like I'm back on the football field with all of the protective armor and that's what matters most so it's worth sweating a little. | I have worn this jacket for about a month now, it is very comfortable to wear. I love the adjustable waistband and cuffs so you can tighten them down to fit tightly. Also has zipper vents to quickly allow air to flow through the jacket. Also the armored elbow shoulder and back make me feel very comfortable knowing that if i were to take a spill, it may not hurt as much. |

I look forward to being able to use it on late fall long distance rides as the liner should be great for the early morning starts and then remove it for the warmer parts of the day. |

| This jacket is as nice as any jacket I own, with the added protection. It's warm in Atlanta summer afternoon heat, 90's and humid. But very comfortable in the morning and late evening. Can't wait 'til October! |

| Great jacket, not for hot weather but warm on down to its to cold to leave the house it should be fine. I got the pants to match and they are great as well. Only cautions are that YES one size larger at least and I went two sizes larger on the pants so I can wear them over my work pants. That worked great but I don't think it would work w/ jeans unless I went another size larger. The 2XL was just barely big enough, I'm usually a X to 2X the 2X is OK but the 3X would be good too. Guess I'll have to keep up on the diet. Speaking of diets the jacket is well cut for normal to thin people. If you have a belly go one size up again. One small point that was a problem is that the pants I ordered had the zipper sewn ion to attach to the jacket. Only problem is that the zippers are reversed so I'll have to take one out and turn it around, not a big deal, but they are from the same manufacturer. Short of that one problem and the caution on sizing get this jacket, it is a great value! |

| Definitely order a size up as the others have stated. I'm 5'11" and 270 pounds, I got the 3xl and it fit perfectly. It does seem to be cut for more of a V shaped man (which I'm not so much anymore) but the waist is adjustable so it's not a problem. I have broad shoulders and this jacket still fit me very good.
The mesh is a bit harsh, rough on the skin but once you are on the road it's hardly noticeable. The air flows nicely through it as you are riding. It's quite nice even on warm days. |

If your 6'4" and have long arms, go two sizes up from what you normally wear. I bought a full black colored one, and it's outstanding, thanks for a great jacket.

| An extremely well-made jacket w/ lots of nice features. However, the reviews led me to order the wrong size. I normally take a medium - sometimes a large. Based on the customer comments - I ordered a large and it was much too big. I got this jacket after ordering a pair of boots for my wife that were very nice, well-made and good-looking. But, again customer comments led me to order a size larger than normal. With her high arches, they were extremely hard to get on and once on were much too big. So, I exchanged them for this jacket. after sending back the large to exchange for a medium, I was told I had exceeded the 30 days return period even though iI had the jacket less than a week. The shipping time evidently took it over the allowed time. Then I was told I would be charged shipping because it was my 2nd exchange. With THREE shipping charges, any savings were long gone. So, be careful. Unless your waist and chest are about the same size - don't go up a size on the jacket! |
