If you're looking for a no nonsense all around Jacket that's both comfortable offers protection and gives you that timeless look of a classic leather beater, then I'd recommended this to the T.
The Buffalo Leather is durable, yet supple enough to be comfortable. I took a hit on my elbow against a steal hood while wearing this, and while my elbow bruised and had friction burns, the jacket was unscathed.
I ordered a size up and the fit is pretty accurate, a little tight in the gut, but It's motivation for me to lose it anyways.

I purchased the jacket about a month or two ago and figured i'd give it a while before i review. I must say that this jacket is awesome. I live in Tucson, AZ and in the morning, when i leave for work before the sun rises, its cold. There was a couple mornings this winter that were 28 degrees. but this jacket performed amazing. i shut the vents in the morning when its cold and open them when i leave work in the afternoon. The jacket is simply a great all around jacket. I wear it everyday because i ride everyday. i ride in all conditions. this jacket is nice. measure yourself and follow the chart. as long as your stomach is not bigger than your chest the chart will work for you. however, if your gut sticks out past your chest then you may want to order a size up. I'm 6' even 170lbs and 38" around the chest. and a medium fits perfect.

Great jacket! Soft premium buffalo leather feels like its been broken in for me. I ordered a size bigger and it fit perfectly. Great deal and several of my friends will probably buy one just like it. Good job Leather Up!

Great jacket. It was my second choice of jackets but turns out to be a pretty good second choice. The leather is top notch, and the fit is great. The vents make it a year round option when taking any ride. I pulled the armor plates for every day riding, but will put them back in when I go for a long ride.

The jacket looks great, feels already broken in upon opening, and the armor is well placed. It is nice and heavy, so should have great protection should the unfortunate happen. As far as size, everyone said to order a size bigger than usual, so I ordered a large, even though I wear medium in everything. That resulted in a jacket that was far too big for me. I am 5'11' and weigh 178 lb and had to send the original jacket back and get a medium, which now fits PERFECT. I do not like my sleeves to hang past my hands or the overall fit to look like I took it from my dad's closet; I like my clothes to fit, and fit comfortably. Therefore the medium was the right choice for me. Now I am happy, but it took a lot of time to return and get a new one, so think about it before you order. If you want to look saggy and drown in the jacket, order a size up. If you want it to fit you and your body, order the size you typically order.

I am 5'9", 185 lbs with 43 inch chest. So the question is; go L or XL? For me, I should have went with the L, my normal size. I followed the advice and went one size up. Not a good idea. If you fit between the L and XL measurements, buy L. On a positive note, nice jacket. The leather was quite nice, even if it was a little big.

I do not like to order cloathing on line, it's always send it back and try again. I read the reviews and the majority of them said to order a size up. Thanks for the information reviewers! Perfict fit. I am 6' 2' and 225lbs. The XXL is perfect. I always have trouble with coats and jackets being to short in the arms, not this one. It is roomy enough to move around in and I have no belly so the adjustible velcro side straps are great. Heavy leather and with level 3 protection, this jacket is well put togeather. I almost want to lay my HD down and take a tumble on the black top! Not really, but if I do I have great protection. Kudos to Xelement for a great product and Kudos to Leather up for the great price.
