I wanted the boots that had the lug soles. They was out of my size. I was really needing a pair and couldn't wait. I went and looked at others and went with these, since it seemed everybody was happy with them. Well add another to that bunch. From the second my heel has hit the bottom they have fit good and felt fine. The black dye will transfer to white socks, but no big deal. Tore out all the made in china tags and took my lighter and took care of any thread hanging out at the top.. Harley Boots are made in china too, but cost a hundred bucks more.. That's what HD stands for "hundred dollars"

Great fit and comfort. Kept my feet warm in 20 degree weather for a 10 mile ride. They were a little snug at first but loosened up after wearing them a couple times. I will order from Leather Up again.

I must admit I had my doubts about these in the beginning. No problems and order with confidence. Can't tell the difference between these and my Harley boots other than the Harleys cost twice as much and are good and worn. Size is dead on. No need to worry about variations. I had purchased these boots for my fiance. He loved them and was very impressed with them. In fact, he loved them so much that he actually wears them around casually, like a pair of sneakers. I realize they are not designed for this use and not surprisingly, his pinky toes are always blistered, but he assures me that the boots will eventually become broken in. So, they must be good boots, because for somebody who hates uncomfortable shoes, he seems willing to put up with the discomfort of a truly durable boot. Besides, with the padded insoles he put in them, they felt pretty good to me when I tried them out. So, the bottom line is, if you want a good, stylish, sturdy, durable boot of the best quality, these are the boots for you!
