| Nice boots. Zippered sides make getting in and out very easy. The included laces are longer than nesssesary, I might swap them with shorter laces for safety. I measured the soles at the heel and they are 1 3/4" thick! With socks and insoles you're probably going to stand 2" higher! A big plus if you are on a tall bike. Size is accurate lengthwise, but a little tight on the sides at first until they get worn in. |

| Great boots. Very sharp looking. My only complaint is the thickness of the insole inserts. They are nicely padded for comfort but so thick that it pressed the top of my foot against the boot. So much so that it was very uncomfortable. But it's' an easy fix. I just simply swapped the stock insoles with a thinner pair from some New Balance sneakers that I no longer wear and now they fit perfectly. Could not be happier. |

| Just what I was looking for in a boot, almost. I've had the boot for one year now. Breakdown:
1 - Size is true (for me ... 8 1/2 IS 8 1/2),
2 - High quality leather look and feel,
3 - Zero problems with the zipper (both sides of boot zip up on this model),
4 - Excellent tread grip (soft grab of asphalt yet holds up well),
5 - Shoe comes just above ankle with excellent protection to there, as long as you keep the laces tied/fitted as you would any other boot/shoe (see recent 'incident' below),
6 - Problem found related to 'orange' section on sole of boot ... This section is NOT part of the black sole and can separate (as it did in my case). I used an epoxy to re-adhere it (which worked for a long time but did eventually fail). As it was out of warranty at the time I did not pursue replacement through LeatherUp. Having related this issue I still give this boot a 4 star rating. Why?
The aforementioned 'incident'. This weekend I had to lay over my 1800 and it caught my boot (boot loop area rolled a little bit because I got lazy in keeping the laces fitted, as noted above in number 5). Boot is scarred but foot is not. That's why we buy and use them.
I will also be ordering a taller boot to add protection for shin and calf area. I would definitely buy these again, and recommend them to friends I care about.
