Based on the fit chart we ordered a Large. I have returned it to get a Medium. There are straps on the back, but even with them pulled in the vest was big. Probably best to order a size down from what you would normally wear. The vest is well made and while not as protective as a jacket would be, this will be a good vest for summer riding with a little extra protection.
