| I originally ordered L since most pants I order in a large. I could put them on but sitting down was a no-no. Got the XL, and they fit perfect (so I feel these ran a bit small, but they were my first time buying bike pants, so...). I am 5' 8" average build and size 8-10 jeans and they fit nicely. I've ridden in 30 degree weather and they kept me warm while riding 70 mph on the highway. I like that there are adjustable straps around the waist if you want a tighter fit, and they DO NOT flap in the wind at all like I've seen other people write (maybe they have on sizes much too large??), they also have armor in areas that are not noticeable at all. They fit nicely over my boots, and the waist is high enough that no air gets between the waist and my jacket. Definitely a good buy. |

| These are a good quality pant for price. A little heavier-duty that what I was really looking for, but were the closest I could come (and I looked ALLLL over!). I mostly commute 40 mi daily on my bike, and wanted something wind-proof and fairly light, but still protective. These will be a little too warm through the summer months (Colorado), but will be great on cooler or rainy days. They do feel very protective and are very comfortable. SIZING: I am 6 ft, size 10 jeans -- ordered an XL and fits great. Love all the features; zipped pockets, vents, removable armor pads. |

| I give these pants a 5. I have ordered several brands of women's warmer/winter riding pants and I feel these are the best for the money so far! I also have the Scorpion Nip-Tuk pants (in size large) and they fit well, so I ordered a large in these Hellinas and I had to exchange them for a medium because these Hellinas do run bigger. I can leave the "Ever-Heat Thermo liner" in and still wear my jeans underneath if I choose. It is not uncomfy for me.
I think it is important to include my height and weight so others can get a better idea when comparing pants and sizing for their own selves: My weight: 140 lbs.; height; 5'9", my inseam is: 33" (BUT let it be known no Scorpion pants are NOT super long) with that being said I myself find these pants to be okay for me, but I do wish they made the inseam longer for us leggy gals! My ankles do not stick out.
These Hellina pants are defiinately for very cold days. I live in florida and maybe we don't get snow but it sure does get quite cold here in the winters sometimes and I won't be stopped from riding because of 45 degree weather. I found them to be comfortable when walking around and in riding position. I did notice a slight 'swoosh' sound sometimes when walking but nothing horrible, like some other brands I have tried.
The outter material is waterproof and does block the wind.
The liner in these Hellina pants are definately thicker (to keep you warm) compared to the Scorpion Shavanna (Nip-Tuk) pants I have, which are for summer riding as they have a thin liner and cannot be swapped for any thicker one!
Overall, I know I wrote a lot here, but Idid this intentionally to save someone else the time and return shipping costs for exchanges. For the sale price I would say, 'buy 'em'! I paid full price for my Shavannas and this is the only site I found that has these pants so cheaply priced now!!! Ride safe (and warm)! |

| Based on other reviews I went ahead and purchased the large. It fits just right for my 40" hips. I was worried about my thick thighs being a problem but choosing the large was the best choice for me. I'm also 5'3" and the length was maybe an inch an a half extra without shoes. The material seems breathable and the liner seems to definately keep you warm- I think for the most part I will be taking out the liner. I like that it has the hip and knee armor and the waist goes high enough so that when I bend over I don't feel exposed. Pockets are always a plus. This is a good buy (I bought it on sale for $95 and change/ regular $154.95) |

| These pants are perfect for long distance riding. They are comfortable, warm even without the liner, waterproof and fit great! We rode in rain for 3 hours at 42 degrees and I didn't get cold or wet! |

| I bought these pants for a motorcycle trip from Southern Cali to Northern Cali & back. I did not wear the inner thermal liner. They were warm & comfey and not to terrible hot, altho I did change into regular jeans when it got over 90. Great pants & fit. A little long, but most pants are on me 5' 2" , 145, So I bought a large. Hoping I fit into a Medium by next summer! LOL |

| These pants are excellent quality and fit true to size. I am 5'7 140 pounds and the medium fits just right. I bought them to wear on cold Wisconsin days and for rain. They work perfect for both. They are a little heavy even without lining for warm weather. |

| just got these and I'm impressed with how well they're made. Here's some good information for you to have while ordering these.
I'm 5'3" @120 lbs. I ordered the medium so I can wear street clothes underneath them. Please keep this in mind when ordering these. I live in the Northeast and often stop for periods of time where I wish to remove these and hang out. A small would have fit me better BUT... with no jeans underneath them. I've overheated in other cold weather pants and then gotten back on the bike and froze because I was overheated. Decide how you intend to use these and order accordingly. |

| These pants are very comfortable. They actually look mostly like real pants instead of being marshmallow man pants. |
