Kuryakyn's Trailer Hitch for the GL1800 is good looking, strong, and very easy to install. This hitch features a 6 point mounting system for superior strength and rigidity. Installation can be performed easily with the bike on it's center stand, and requires only a few common hand tools. When installed, the mounting framework is completely out of sight. Only the hitch and ball assembly and front mounting points are visible. The rear support plate is easily removed for quick and effortless tire changes. WARNING: Kuryakyn is aware of no current state or federal guidelines for pulling a trailer with a motorcycle. They suggest when pulling and loading a trailer you do not exceed the motorcycle manufacturers Gross Vehicle Weight limits.
NOTE: The tongue weight of the trailer, when attached to the hitch, must not exceed 10 percent of the total trailer weight and its contents, with the maximum tongue weight not to exceed 30 pounds. Also remember when pulling a trailer with a motorcycle, extra distance must be allowed for stopping and a slower speed used when cornering. Use extra caution, and dont exceed your limits.
