| Compared to other tank bags on the basis of size, features, and price, this tank bag is bargain. There is definitely no shortage of 4 external zippered pockets, as well as a hidden flat but expandable space under the map pocket. There are also more pockets inside the bag that are under the top lid flap for a cell phone and a smartphone (presumed based on the slightly larger pocket). The cons would be the lack of an instruction/illustration sheet showing how the various straps and buckles are intended to be used in mounting the bag. This was eventually figured out like any other puzzle. It should be noted that the bag actually mounts at two points: up front the straps loop around the head of the frame stem head, and at the back where the strap is intended to loop around the gas tank rear mounting bolt. The intention was that the tension created by the straps at both ends of the bag and the rubberized surface of the pad that the bag rests on, would keep the bag relatively immobile. However, during one of my rides, the bag would slightly shift to one side of the gas tank, as the pad does allow some movement. However, there are two plastic "D" rings, one on each side of the bag at the base, though designed to allow shoulder straps (in a hidden pocket) to attach onto the tank bag to allow it to double as a backpack, could conceivably be used to stabilize the bag by using additional separate straps (not included) to somehow attach themselves to the bottom edges of both sides of the gas tank. Also, the interior of the bag being a black velour fabric, could be improved for visibility (for finding small items in the dark) by a change to a light gray color. An all light gray tank bag for that reason would be desirable. All said, the pros outweighs the cons by far and given Leatherup's low price, I would definitely recommend this tank bag. |

| Very happy with the sturdy construction and versatility of the bag. While I haven't put it to a long distance ride, it seems to fit securely and I hardly know it is there. I can recommend this bag without reservations.

| Well made and sturdy. It will not work well on a Goldwing with bar risers. Without the risers it would work very well. It does make a nice luggage rack bag but you lose the map pocket. Something not mentioned is the opening for a camelback tube to stay hydrated on long rides. |
