| This helmet looks great. Alot of thought was put into it's design. The ear pads can be removed as one piece, connected around the back of your head via a zipper/neck pad. The zipper can be difficult at times and the ear pads are further supported with plastic snaps. The ear pads are the location where your small 1 1/4 inch helmet speekers go. If the ear pads are removed from the chinstrap, the air noise becomes rather bothersom at highway speeds. The helmet sits rather high on your head and it does not fit in my saddle bags. The hide away tinted visor works well and looks good when in the down position. When in the up position, it goes inside the helmet, you don't even know it's there. I've looked to try and find a replacement faceshield, but have not found it here on this web page. It would have been really nice if they would have included a clear face shield, as with most states, it's illeagle to ride at night with a tinted visor. I would have given this helmet a 5 star rating if the face shield was photosensitive like my transitional lenses on my glasses. I saw in cycle magazine that the transitional face shields are available now. What a fantastic idea that one is. I have yet to be caight in the rain, so I don't know if the half faceshield will work well ? The air flow does come up from underneath and create an etty that will make your eyes water for a bit. Over all, it is a good fitting helmet and looks decent. If you ride behind a windscreen this is a great choice, if you ride with your face in the wind, it is better than a peanut shell and it will keep the rain sting of your face, from the top of your lips up. Over all I gave this helmet 4 out of 5 stars. |

| Excellent service,USA-UK five days can't get much better than that for standard mail.The helmet fits well and the visor is real trick everyone wants one,the price is something else as well,can't get anything in UK for this price with the same visor attachment.Just a tip,i found the wind tried to push the helmet off the top of my head at 70mph and above,but resolved this issue by removing the detachable peak,much more comfortable at the higher speeds.Frank-G Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK. |
