| The picture here does not do this helmet justice. It looks so much better in real life! I have another Outlaw helmet that is the same size, but this runs slightly larger. I wear a large in other helmets, (full face) but bought the Outlaws in medium, and they fit fine. Also, this doesn't give you that stupid "mushroom head" look like so many other half helmets do. Buy it! You'll be glad you did. |

| Half helmets are what they are. Fairly good protection while looking good at same time. Not a helmet to be used during sustained high speeds for any length of time unless you are hiding behind fairing with windshield or at least a windshield. Without windshield, at high speeds, the airflow will cause the helmet to try and lift off of your head, even with the strap cinched up tight. Good looking helmet, meets DOT safety criteria, and the graphics are cool. Sizing is good as long as you measure hat band area of your skull. Low speeds and/or around town this half helmet is perfect. Allows you to hear and guage all sounds unless you are "at speed." When you are "at speed" the wind going between ear and strapping can get pretty loud and this eliminates your ability to hear all noises that you want to hear, I.E. car moving up and in "blind spot." |
