Only open face helmet I have ever seen with a built in drop down visor. Easy to use when the sun hits you. Cheaper then buying another open face helmet and then pay another $30 for just a dark shield and mess with changing them each time. Love it. Everyone thinks I paid $200 for this. Going to try the drop down visor Modular helmet by Hawk for my next order.

It fits a bit snug but thats o.k., better than being too loose. What a difference the face shield makes and the retractable sun visor is great. All this at a great price too and the shipping was fast. Great work everyone!!!!!

| Got my helment in (3) days - as usual fast shipping! It fits great, I really like to drop down shade, it comes in handy as I wear contacts causing me not to need to wear shades! I'm a repeat customer and will continue to buy from Leather Up!

I like the helmet. I have what I consider two minor issues. There is a plastic band which goes across the forehead which can cause minor pain during the break in period. If the plastic was narrower, and not come out past the padding, this would not be an issue. The second thing I have to work around is that the sun visor is closs to the face. If you wear glasses, the sun visor does not give any room to come down over the eye glasses. By pressing my eye glasses closer to the face, they will fit under the sun visor. I like the concept of the two visors. With a little modification, this would be an excellent helmet.

The helmet is great but a little small. The two visors make it possible to wear my regular glasses while riding.

Several months ago I purchased the Hawk H-6600 Dual Visor full face flip up helmet, size XL, from Leatherup.com. I could not have been more pleased with this helmet. I liked everything about it. In fact I liked it so well I decided to purchase a three quarter helmet (AP-80-BLACK). According to the size chart on the Leatherup web site a size LARGE should fit. But because the XL full face helmet I purchased fit so well, to be on the safe side I ordered a size XL. The three quarter helmet in size XL was much too small so I exchanged it for a 2XL size. While this helmet fit somewhat better, it was still a little tight. However I decided to give it a try. The flip down sun visor was fine but I was very disappointed in the quality of the clear visor. It made everything look distorted or out of focus. Objects seem to move as I turned my head from side to side of up and down. Flaws in the clear visor can easily be seen. Much to my disappointment I had to return this helmet and ask for credit toward another purchase. Hopefully the poor quality of the clear visor is an isolated incident. Something to watch for. The size chart indicated that I could wear a large. The 2XL was a little right on me. So, order at least one size or maybe two larger than the chart says you need.
