As always from leatherup shipped and recieved quickly, plus free shipping, hard to beat. I have had it over a week and ride every day. First the cons: It does seem to be made with cheap parts though nothing has broken. I will review it again if anything breaks. Visor seems hard to remove if you want or need to replace it, I haven't figured it out yet. Semper is misspelled. You would think they would have corrected that by now, and though sempre may have been the orignal spelling, the motto is semper. And now the pros: It is awesome looking. I have people taking pictures of it. It is very comfortable. A little quieter than my old helmet. I ride when the sun is coming up and going down and the inner visor is great, though it could be a little darker, works easily and one handed. The modular design makes it easy to get on and off or ride with it open. It is cold now and it is much warmer than my old and has very little draft that seeps in. The price! It is DOT approved. Some people think their head is worth more than a hundred bucks but I think it will perform as well as most other helmets. All in all, a great helmet, and for the price, unbeatable. Note: the size chart says I should have gotten a large, went with the xl and glad I did.

Been a long time that I have worn a full face helmet, half helmets has been my choice past couple of years. Saw this helmet and thought I would give this a try during the winter months. Been using it past two weeks in Oklahoma were if you don't like the current weather wait, it will change. Does not fog up at all during riding, a little fogging up at stop light but clears right up at take off. With front shield all the way down, nosie is pretty low. Crack open shield and noise is back up. Dual visor is awsome, dark enough to bright sunlight. Helmet is better then I expected for the price. Highly recommended.

I too noticed the "incorrect" spelling so I googled it. Turns out it is the correct spelling in the original latin. As far as the helmet itself goes it is as good as any full face I have ever worn. Handles wind better than most.

Great looking and functional helmet ....... didnt notice the misspelling until I recieved it. find it hard to believe an officially licensed graphic would be misspelled ......... The venting system isn't that great as it tends to fog up in cold weather with and without the breath guard ............. Semper Fi

I realized SEMPER Fi on the back was misspelled as soon as I saw it. Am a retired MARINE, but with a little paint & time from an artist friend of mine it WILL be corrected! Other than that little problem this IS an AWESOME helmet!! LOVE IT!! Especially the drop down sunshade!! Highly recommend this helmet and LEATHERUP! Will do more business here!!

Semper Fi is spelled wrong on the helmet. I ordered this for my husband and realized when he tried it on at his birthday party that it is spelled incorrectly. He doesn't mind but since I ride behind him and stare at the back of his head, it is going to drive me crazy. Awesome helmet otherwise.

You know, I am a dyslexic, and I just now noticed that Semper Fi is spelled incorrectly. How dumb do you have to be not to notice the spelling error when the helmets were being made? What happened to the QC person when these helmets were rolling off the shelf? Another thing I don't like about these helmets is the strap, very cheap and does not work as well when trying to lock it or remove it either. A lot of wind seeps through the helmet which makes for a very noisy ride.
