Had my first chance to use the helmet today. It's a nice looking helmet. The dual shields are just great. The sun shield is really neat and works well. My experience was the helmet does not vent too well. When your stopped the main visor wants to fog up. I cracked the visor open and that stopped. The helmet is alittle tight for me front to back. Wearing it for a long ride can be alittle painful. Hopefully that corrects itself when the hemet is broken in. Easy to lift the front face up and so nice to take a drink without having to remove your helmet. Thinking of getting one to relace my wife's old helmet. Recommend this helmet. It was well worth what I paid for it.

Hawk Dual Visor Full Face - It's a bit flimsy, especially with the face pulled up. It's vents are not the best in the world, but I'd recommend this one again. It's comfortable, light weight and looks incredible. The inside shaded visor works very nice and the finish on these helmets is very nice. The actuation of the flip up portion is a little stiff at first but gets easier. Overall, great buy!

This helmet is very comfortable and quiter than my fullface helmet. It's almost as cool as my shorty helmet and the dual visor is great when riding into a Florida sunset.

| I have had the helmet for a few weeks, riding off-road,backroads, city streets and the highway, and, I must admit, I am very, very happy with my choice.
The helmet fits snugly, but not too tight (so sizing is good), and it is very stable on road or off. The venting is very good, does not steam up. I used a friend's helmet before buying my own, and the shield would always steam up when I stopped, not so with the Hawk!!! Another great feature of this helmet is the dual visors (many of the more expensive helmets don't have dual visors) Also, The face flips up easily, and even the padding for the helmet straps is soft and comfortable (unlike the other helmet I used b4, which would irritate my skin and cause itchiness).
Of course, I like the look of the helmet too, nice clean design, and the price just can't be beat, especially for the features.
Thank you Leatherup.com!!! Great product!!! Great Price!!! |

I like it! For right at $100, I got a DOT approved helmet with some nice features. The face flips up so the guards can see my face to let me on base, the shades flip down for sunny days, it has good vents and good padding that snaps out for cleaning. And, best of all, an XL fits my big fat face snugly but comfortably. Did I mention the shade? IMO, it's really cool.

This helmet is great. It has all the features I need and is much cooler than you would think. I have been riding with it for about 2 weeks in very hot weather, 95-103 in Oklahoma, and it is still comfortable.

Just got and wore my new Hawk helmet---backroads and freeway. Wow---this helmet does not shake or move in strong wind---it has easy and usable clear and sun shields---the fit is soft and sn og but not tight----I would put this helmet up against all the $500 helmets any time. Great piece of work---would highly recommend it to real riders!!

I have been riding with this helmit for 3 weeks and all I can say is I love it, it works as advertised and the sun shade is a very nice addition. Venting is great and the cushions and helmet fit perfectly. I highly recommend this helmet as a very good buy.

Better in almost all ways than the lower priced Hawk Modular. True size fit, well vented, positive Visor close, easy sun shade up and down, doesn't fog in any conditions so far, and comfortable and quiet in the wind. An excellent choice for your main helmet without spending $500.

Bought this for my husband, who was not satisfied with the last two helmets. This one is great and fits him well. The sun visor is great especially since he wears glasses. There is plenty of room for his glasses as well has his headphones for his MP3 player.
