I love the lines of my HD XL1200C and didn't want to mess up the appearance with bags or other tack on accessories. This rack was just enough! It fit perfectly and is just big enough to carry a jacket on a warm afternoon. There was NO problem installing it! It installs on the single seat mount screw and on the license plate bracket. It is very well made.
