Pros** Have an interesting look to them, I keep an Aspirin bottle along with a small tool box my service manual, extra fuses, spark plugs a h4 halogen bulb, and some turn signal bulbs, can easily hold a six pack of coke or Pepsi or a gallon of vodka. Fits a small tent or a cycle cover, water tight, under the steel buckles are heavy duty plastic clips for easy access to the interior, which is covered by a leather tongue that closes on the back with a single riveted snap. There are nylon pockets on the four inner walls, with braided elastic cord to keeping it closed, there is some kind of corrugated plastic, it is plastic to keep the bags ridged, and water tight.
Ive have ridden in the rain and left the bike uncovered, the contents even books stay nearly bone dry. Condensation will build up on the tongue if the bike is not covered in the rain. but even then no damage, or extreme moisture on items stored inside. I haven't yet enjoyed the task of driving them into a lake. |
