| I'm a new bike owner and have been buying basic items for ridding. I purchased this jacket without the benifit of guidence. I must say I am very happy with this purchase, it arrived in a timely fashion, and it is good quility. A buddy of mine who rides all the time suggested I had made a good choice. I was a little concerened about the fit, but was told it is a good fit. I wore it last week for my safety class, it was about 40 degrees and windy. The jacket was very confortable and warm enough. To my surprise the fit of the jackey was perfect. I'm 5'11" about 285, 52 chest, 44 waist...the chart suggested 3X and it is a great fit. I will spread the word...I will return for additional items... |

| Wow, still can't believe the Jacket for the money! I just want to thank all the others for talking me into 1 size bigger. It's perfect. I'm a big guy, 5 10, 245 lbs with wide shoulders, measured for a 2x and bought a 3x. With the adjustable waist straps, it doesn't look huge, and I have room for another sweat underneath. Can't wait to get out on the road with it! |

| I'll try and clarify the "order size larger" comments. I am 5'8" and 190 lbs. Small build and not a big belly but definitely a little "middle-age spread"! I have winter jackets that are size M and fit well but I also sometime wear a size L depending on the cut and manufacturer. So I was thinking the L would be OK, but at the last minute I decided to go with XL. Glad I did. With the lining attached, the arms are a little tight (and I do not have body-builder arms by any means). With some wear however the jacket should loosen up and be just fine. Removing the lining made the jacket much more comfortable and removing the armor made it perfect. The sleeves are a little long (so I definitely wouldn't want to go any larger) but once the closers are done up it is fine (actually, in riding position with arms extended, the sleeves cover well). Very good adjustable straps on wrists and upper arms. Great ventilation. Haven't worn it on a ride yet but without the lining and armor it seems like it will be fine in warm weather. Full lining (sleeve length) should be great for cold weather and hopefully I'll have broken it in by then! Ordered on Sunday using FedEx 2-day service and received it on Wednesday. Very good for the small extra price. |

| Jacket is excellent for the price. Well worth every penny. I normally wear a medium and ordered the medium even though many people suggest ordering a size larger. It fit perfect with and without the liner in. Haven't had a chance to use it yet since it's been in the 90's here is south Alabama but I'm sure when it's 40 degrees this jacket will do great. The waterproofing is a nice touch as well as the protective padding. LeatherUp is great. Great items, super prices, and excellent servicing (billing and providing shipping info). You can't lose ordering anything. I've got gloves and chaps and happy with them as well. |

I followed the suggestion of ordering one size up and it's right! The fit is perfect for me and it feels comfortable. I can't wait to try it on with my bike! Thank you very much leather up. | I really like this jacket. Rode today in 45 degree weather and felt comfortable. The jacket is designed to fit rather tight both in the chest area and sleeves. I ordered a large which is my normal size. Being as tight as it is, I have all the adjustable sleeve snaps in the largest setting which works out fine. The waist is adjustable and works for me. The elastic bands in the shoulders and elbows allow easy flexible and comfortable movement . Quality appears excellent although time will tell. I have not ridden in warm weather so cannot comment on the vents which appear to be more than adequate. I'm not sure how the chest vents will work as you can unzip and remove them completely or partially unzip and let them flap in the wind (I guess). Good pocket availability with easy access. Lots of zippers - hope they hold up.
All in all, I am very happy with this jacket. The service and quality products from Leatherup have never failed to meet high standards in the stuff I have bought. |
