Additionally, they have added internal protection in the shin and ankle areas to provide more support. The closure system uses an inner zipper with an outer Velcro flap to provide a secure fit. On the rear heel cup they inserted a reflective safety strip and for the sole they used an anti-slip rubber lug sole.
