| I concur with most reviewers on quality and price. My added comments would be on size/fit. Go with the size according to size chart. I normally wear size 32 and the measurements on size chart work out real good. The waist tend to be on the large side. I had mine on the last buckle and it still is loose. After two dollars on grommets and five minutes of drilling and pounding, I have my chaps a notch tighter.
The chaps are still loose enough for me to put additional fleece inside the lining to keep me warm on 30 degree weather. The fleece is held to the lining with safety pins, so I can remove the fleece liner when it is not so cold. |

| I ordered these for my husband in his normal size. They fit him perfectly. We were concerned about the upper thigh zipper rubbing on bike seat but it is not a problem. The zipper is futher to the front of the thigh that what the picture shows. |

| From what I know about chaps (first pair) these appear to be pretty sturdy. They're heavier than I thought they would be which is a good thing for their intended purpose.
I may be an odd size I guess, the thighs fit perfectly but I had to add a couple of belt holes to keep them up on my waist...totally nor a big deal though.
I would buy again from Leather Up, in fact I already have =) |

The waist size is as stated, however the thigh runs a little snug. I wear thermal lined jeans under these in cold weather. I ordered on size up and they fit perfect. |

| Awesome Chaps! If you wear somewhat baggy jeans like I do, stick with the same size as your current jeans. I wear a 32 but ordered a 34 like it suggested. The chaps were just way to big on me so I had to exchange it for a size 32. Thankfully, the exchange went smoothly. |

| With 33" inseam, went with the 34" waist to get the 32.5" length. Length is good but had to overlap the backside for the waist. Possibly start offering tall sizes in the future? Otherwise, good fit, good quality, comfortable chaps, great price, quick delivery, good website. Have worn in 45 degree weather with 23 mph winds and chaps worked great. Definitely will shop Leatherup again and have recommended to family and friends. |

| I just received my chaps, they are as good a quality as the chaps around here that I've looked at that cost $149. to $189. (I just wish that I would have known about Leather-up before I outfitted my wife with her leather riding gear, cause I could have saved 40 to 50% DAMN) I've shown these chaps to several of my bike riding buddies and they all say that they will be ordering a pair.

| I really like these chaps. I have ridden in weather as cold as 21 degrees with a 22 mph wind, my legs were still warm and comfortable. I ordered the size I usually wear in pants and they fit great. The extra zipper on the thigh is nice, so is being able to unzip them all the way down to get them off when I get to work. |

The legs fit great and they are very comfortable. I have ridden down to 26 degrees and my legs were fine. I am 6'2", 210 lbs and the legs are the perfect length. A little more insulation wouldn't hurt either. I rode at 50 degrees for half an hour and got chilly. Chaps are really long and I suggest not cutting them. | Leatherup is where I buy all of my leather clothing and I will tell you why. I have gone to other sites and their prices are either higher or quality is not there. At leather- Up, prices are great, quality can't be beat and when I had to exchange a coat, I sent mine back and in two days I received the exchanged item. You just can't beat that. Usually it takes 3 or 4 days but not this company. That is why I stay with LeatherUp and urge you to do the same.

| As with everyting else i have purchased from leatherup.com I am very pleased. I read all of the reviews and did go a size up to the 36, this worked for me. I am 6'1" and wear relaxed 34x34 jeans. I had to relace the back to snug them up a bit, but they do fit well. The zipper on the thigh is a big help, especially when walking in the chaps. The leather is suprisingly soft and supple especially for the price. The length works well for me without cutting off. Strongly suggest these chaps, you won't see better at the leather shops for 3 times the price. |

I ordered them based on my pants size and they fit just tight enough, but aren't impossible to zip. I wanted them that way to take advantage of the thigh zippers based on layers. | I bought a pair of these for my husband and another style for myself awhile back and we haven't regretted it. I tried his on and loved the way they fit. The Side zipper is awesome for us women who are alittle thick on the sides. I returned the other style and bought another pair of this style for myself. They fit us great. I never thought I'd find a pair of chaps that would fit my pudgy body shape but these do the trick. I'm between sizes 12-14 and I got these in 34. The waist is adjustable in the back, and I wear them so that the waist sits just under my jeans waist. I'm 5'3" so I just trimmed alttle of the ends. For my husband he's 5'8 1/2", 186'lbs a size 36 and no trimming was required. We highly recommend these to anyone. GREAT BUY! |

I am on the last notch on the belt, so I recommend to go smaller than your waist if lenght isn't an issue. Overall I am very impressed with the chaps. Can't wait to try them out! |

I had to tighten the waste as far as I could, but the thighs felt squeezed. | These are my first chaps, so I don't have anything or a memory to compare these to. I tightened up the back laces, put them on, grabbed my jacket and skidlid and went for a two hour ride this morning. I ride an HD Heritage Softail, and I have never before been so comfortable at 65 mph. I rated them at 4 stars only because I thought there should have been a little more lee-way in the front belt. I wear a size 32/32 jean, and I ordered a size 34 as recommended. The waist is a little big on the last notch of the belt, but it will work. The legs fit pretty good, really good zippers, and I adjusted the length with a scissors, whacking off two inches worth. Perfect! Thanks Leather Up! |

| These chaps are great for the money. Use the size chart! They come long, but are easy to cut with a regular pair of sissors. Thighs are a little snug, so if you have some big hams...you may want to look at the dual comfort chaps. Ride on! |

| These chaps are a great deal. They are lined about 3/4 of the way down so they feel nice over jeans. I'm 6'1 about 215 lbs and wear a 34x34 in my jeans. I got the size 36 in these chaps and they fit just fine. If I'd gone any smaller, I'm afraid they would've been a tad snug in the legs. The length is about right for me too as I have long legs and a short torso. I don't plan on having to trim the bottom. |

My only suggestion for improvement would possibly be more adjustment notches for the belt. However it should be easy to punhch a hole and put a grommet or two in.

The thigh zipper is great for a little more room in that area, making them very comfortable for long rides. Went on a 40 degree ride and was comfortable all day. | LeatherUp.com's done it again. You really can't go wrong with any of the Xelement gear.
The only problem I've run into with these is the length, since I had to order waist 28s, being a smaller guy, and they run a bit long for me. Nothing a pair of scissors can't fix, however. These, some Underarmor, and a regular pair of jeans and you can't go wrong in winter weather.

| I live in Arizona and bought these for the winter morning rides when the temp drops to near freezing. I wear a size 32 levi 501s and bought the size 32 and glad I did. I have the chaps adjusted in the back at the smallest point and buckle them infront on the last hole for a perfect fit. The leather on these chaps are nice and thin and supple. Good for keeping the air from going through to my legs. Not too hot in the warmer temps either. Wouldn't be maximum protection for a wipe out but will help keep you warm. |

I normally wear size 36 and the measurements on size chart worked out real good fot the thigh but the waist tend to be on the large side. I had mine on the last buckle and it still is loose. 3 Bucks for gromets fifteen minutes of hole punching and pounding, I have my chaps fitting much tighter. |

It was easy for me to fix as I have tools for leather working. Length, inseam, and thigh measurements were right on. Have some friends who have the same product and they agree as well. |

| The chaps are exactly what they tell you in the details. Bought them for myself, then reordered for my wife. Make sure you order your pant size. | I ordered them in a 44, cause I was in a loose fitting 42 at the time of ordering, but have since lost so much weight that I am now in a regular fitting 38(in less then one month), so I had to make a choice... send them back for a smaller size, or re-fit them and wear them for the big Hot Springs, Ar. ride... I re-fit them myself and saved the day. Looked great, fit great...just a really good pair of chaps and at a great price... couldn't ask for more then that. |

| 5' 8" and I wear a 34 waist jeans so I ordered a 36 in the chaps. They were too big so I returned for credit and ordered a 34. They fit perfectly and didn't even have to trim the bottom. 33 degrees this morning and the legs stayed toasty warm. Great product, I will shop here again. |

| These chaps are great. I wear a size 33 or 34 in jeans so I ordered a size 34 and they fit perfectly. I have pretty large thighs but there is still plenty of room in the thigh even with the thigh zipper zipped all the way up. But they are not loose either. They are just all around a perfect fit. I have ordered from Leatherup.com in the past and have always been very pleased with them and will continue to use them in the future. I get my order right away and never have any issues. Go with the size chart, right on the money. Was concerned about length as we are "pocket people", but was able to cut them to length with no fraying or curling. | I have never worned chaps in my 37 years of riding, so didn't really know what to expect. I commute 64 miles one way and last week had two mornings upper 30s low 40s when I left. I definitely was warmer, the fit is nice especially with the added zipper. I have already order a leather jacket and I am waiting for an e-mail when the slip over leather pants are in stock. | Had to exchange first pair after they were too large. This was a snap and super fast. This pair are perfect fit on and off the bike. Took on New Year's Day 40 degree 130 mile ride and legs were super warm. You need to make whole body suit! Now I just have to get her a pair now. I will be a customer as long as I ride, which will be a long time. |

| These chaps are great! They fit excellent and the thigh zipper makes for plenty of leg room. They are on the light side and wouldn't recommend them for cold weather riding, but do the job for highway and cool weather. I would definetly buy another pair! |
