This is a very decent good looking helmet for the money. It offers a nice transition from using the inner sun visor to just the clear outer shield for later day riding and night riding. The mechanism on the right side of my outer clear visor seems to disengage and the shield comes loose at times after closing or opening it. In fact it was loose right out of the box and I thought it had just happened in shipping but apparently it doesn't alway stay locked in position? Other than that I am pleased with the purchase and have been able to put up with a couple sheild problems.

I have not received the product, but I had to write the review about the site, they really care about their customers, this is my first buy but not the last. order a size larger than what you need!, i ordered a size larger and it was a snug fit, if i would've ordered the size i needed it would not have fit, other than that the helmet is top of the line excellent, smooth as glass finish, super clear windshield, really cool built in flip up sunglass viser, lots of air vents, nice airodynamic design, i recomend leather up products to all my buds !.

I took the advice in the review's to get at least a size larger than you normally would, and I still could use alittle more room, but...I'm big headed anyway;)...very good deal, and looks good. Love the 'shades/sunglasses' it has.

Just received the Hawk ST-1150 Helmet (ordered 6/15 delivered 6/22). Fast Shipping! Now to review the helmet...agree with another review "chin strap could be moved forward a little bit" and agree with other reviews about "order a size larger than what you need". Definitely GREAT advice, thanks! It is a snug fit, but still feels good! Quality build and lots of features not found on other helmets. The color is a perfect match to my 2008 Silver Honda Rebel. First order from Leatherup.com, definitely wont be the last. Highly recommended!

I bought this helmet to go to the motorcycle BRC course at the Fayetteville Technical Community College (NC) and I am glad I did!!! This helmet it's perfect! It fit perfectly and so comfortable and when the other students were fighting the foggy glasses and their helmet regular visors I was enjoying the breeze on my face by leaving my shield open and using my retractable inner smoked shield by just sliding the outer switch on the left side plus all of the advance ventilation system on this great helmet!!! Oh!!! And to know that they paid more for their helmets it made me feel even better about my purchased! This helmet is it! I love it!!! Thank you Leatherup.com!!!!!!

the sun visor could be a little bigger and the chin strap could be moved forward a little bit , but i really like this helmet. its light and it cuts the air better than what i had. Leather up is great.
