The Hawk GLD-909 Modular helmet gives you the best of both open-face and full-face styles. The front easty-to-actuate button opens the GLD-909's mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. New ergonomic drop down inner tinted visor easily deploys, even with gloves on. Plus, the tinted visor helps protect your eyes from the sun and keeps you safe when riding with an open face. It also features an advance quick-release strap system closure; for a more secure fit and comfort. With its advanced lightweight shell design, dual visor design for day to night riding, front flow-through ventilation system and moisture-wicking helmet liner and cheek pads and meeting strict DOT regulations, makes this the perfect helmet for the serious lady rider. |

| My wife likes the helmet for the most part. Her main complaint is the padding along the forehead is very thin. She can't wear it with her hair up without it leaving a line across her forehead from the seam. She has worn 4 other helmets all the same size, so the size shouldnt be a problem. Other than that, she loves it. |

| This is a very good looking helmet. The fit is true. & the price is right!! I was looking for a modular & the tinted drop down sun visor is an added plus. I have to get use to operating the side drop down button with full finger gloves. Unfortunately I haven't had the oppurtunity to ride with this helmet so can't comment on noise or ventilation. In any case I'll be happy that I can obviously be distinguised as a female rider! Thx LeatherUp |

| The helmet seems to fit my daughter great. The sun visor controls are a little difficult to manipulate and the chin bar release is also a little stiff to release, but for the price it was an excellent deal and well worth the money. |

| The helmet is great. I really like it a lot. The only thing I would say is a little negative is that the sun visor is not as smooth moving up and down in place as I would like. I do like the fact that you can have the clear or tinted visor to use. Fits very well and is comfortable and fairly light. Overall great helmet. |
