The Hawk GLD-908 Modular helmet gives you the best of both open-face and full-face styles. The front easty-to-actuate button opens the GLD-908's mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. New ergonomic drop down inner tinted visor easily deploys, even with gloves on. Plus, the tinted visor helps protect your eyes from the sun and keeps you safe when riding with an open face. It also features an advance quick-release strap system closure; for a more secure fit and comfort. With its advanced lightweight shell design, dual visor design for day to night riding, front flow-through ventilation system and moisture-wicking helmet liner and cheek pads and meeting strict DOT regulations, makes this the perfect helmet for the serious rider. |

| I like the graphics. They are perfect to coordinate with my bike colors. As for fit, I had to return the first one, too small. I normally wear XL, had to go to XXL for fit. The features are very good and work well. I have issues with the clarity of the visor. There are some distortions. My glasses may play a small role. The helmet is also quite noisy. Wind above 45 mph creates a loud white sound. It is a problem.
All functions are excellent. The helmet is fairly lightweight. There is no room for headsets, but with the wind noise, you couldn't hear it anyway.
For the $$ spent, the helmet is a good buy. I will look for something with a more detailed interior for my future purchase of higher quality. This helmet will serve its current purpose for short distance sport riding. I can get a set of ear plugs.
As for the return, LUp is excellent to work with. A flawless exchange. |

| I love this helmet! The graphics are great. The fit was a little tight on my forehead, a little adjustment and it works fine. Great helmet for the price. Easy to add our headsets and very little wind noise. |

| What a great helmet. the sun visor is great. I had an HJC helmet with the same features for twice the money and did not like it at all. This one does not fog nearly as bad. just a little at the bottom, not the whole shield. but after you cool off a little it doesn't fog at all. at 60 no buffeting in the helmet and no feeling like it is lifting off your head. Dumped my bike today and was pinned under the bike my head hit the pavement and other than a few tiny scratches on the helmet I had no injury to my head or neck. This helmet is very light weight and does't give you fatigue in your neck on long rides like heavier helmets can. I can say enough about it. the graphics are awesome. the pics do not do it justice. They are very detailed and vibrant and the vents work really well. It was 36 degress on our ride today and I didn't feel any cold on my head at all. I have a neck wrap and it stops the wind from coming up under it and it has the padding on the inside removed to attatch your com system. For the money you can't go wrong with this helmet whether you are male or female. It works great for both. Just measure your head and order by the size chart and you won't have to return it. | nice helmet and great price. I did need to exchange it for a larger size and the replacement sunvisor is distorted and does not work with one hand. A great looking helmet which I will use for cold weather and additional protection. |
