Bought the XL sized helmet. Fits perfectly. My last helmet was also an XL so I think it is true to size.
I like the dual visors, built in sunglasses that you can retract.
Maybe Im just getting old but the visor is so clear and distortion free I had to check to see if it was down... it was..
Nice helmet, looks great in the flat black, good fit... lets hope I dont need to test the DOT sticker's value on the back.

hawk helmets are awesome.. i hit a deer wearing mine. landed on my head at about 40-50 mph, kinda like a spear, it rang my bell really good and broke my collar bone. but i walked away:). i am alive today because of my hawk helmet. will never buy another brand, quality is second to none... plus built in sunglasses??.. genius!! and they slide down over my perscription glasses.

The Hawk Dual Visor helmet is one of the most confortable helmets I have had, has good ventilization, cuts the road noise down, and the modular chin gaurd is sturdy easy to operate, with metal latches. This helmet compares to ones that start at $350 and keep going. The sunshield is better than many as it blocks the whole glare out, several I tried the sunshield did not drop far enough. If your looking for a dual visor, modular helmet try this one, and save hundreds.

Great helmet!!! The modular design is awesome, and solidly built. The inner visor is perfect for going from sun to shade and back again, you don't have to worry about wearing sunglasses, and reducing visibility in shady areas. The helmet is well ventilated, but warm when the vents are closed. Better component than some $400 helmets.

I can not say enough about this helmet. Great helmet!! The flip down visor works great to block the sun. The flip up face protector is easy to work with thick winter gloves. It is light weight and very comfortable to wear on long drives.(5-7 hours tested). It was a little noisy at high speeds due to wind around where the visor connects but I put in ear plugs and it solved that problem. This is my winter helmet and the lens has not fogged over in 33 degree weather from my breathing. The chin strap is comfortable and easy to use also.

This is probably the best helmet that I have owned. It is comfortable and the dual visor feature is great - I use it every day.
The only point to watch out for is that the helmets run large. I normally wear an XL however when I received the XL it was too big so I exchanged it for a L and this fit well but I could have even got away with a M.
Overall an excellent helmet!

If you are looking for a good helmet at a low cost this is it. I use it riding to work everyday and I think the only thing I could even say bad is that the top vent sometimes doesnt want to seal and if you tip you head just right you get to listen to a screaming wind sound, but this only has happend a few times. I ordered the helmet on the tight side and when I got it in the mail I was glad I did. It was almost to big! Just a warning for those going to order. As far as the helmet gos i will never own anything onther then this one the sun visor and the flip face are now a must for me and my mellon head. hope this helps and good ridding!

Helmet is more than I had expected. The duel visor system is excellent and driving in desert situations the sun visor is a real must. Price outstanding in comparison to other modular helmets. Have recommended it to others.
