My head measures about 55 around and the small is still not quite as snug as it should be. Besides that, it feels well. I'm a first time rider and the chin strap takes some getting used to but is secure. Very quality item at a wonderful price. I received it within three days of ordering. I live in the sweltering heat of Vegas so I wear a bandana inside and it feels relatively cool within which is wonderful. The visor has a bit of a tint which is great and overall I am just pleased with it and leatherup.com service. I had no idea I needed to measure around my forehead so I initially ordered a med. Heads up to other new riders. It is around the forehead! I can also wear my RX glasses within it without issue from the visor, as well as sunglasses.

Excellent and comfortable helmet! Initially feels a bit tight, but does wear in and the interior foam, takes on the shape of your head.
Initially was sceptical about the visor, but was riding the other day and with the Upstate NY spring weather, had to content with high cross-winds.
The windshield on the bike did not protect from that, so I put down the shield and the difference was amazing!
Highly recommend this Helmet! Classic looks, light and the shield is a bonus!
Does not make one look like a Mushroom head!

If I had to replace my helmet, I would by another just like it. I particularly like the sunshield. Of course, any helmet must meet DOT standards. I also like the strap retention system. Better than the old method.

I bought the helmet because I loved the retro look of the helmet. Since using the helmet I am extremely pleased with its fit and finish. The SunShield provides you the choice of using sun glasses or not. I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone!
