| Bought this helmet for my girlfriend. She LOVES it! I have this same helmet in black and love it too (hence the reason I bought this one for her). The only complaint she has is that the chin strap is uncomfortable. Although I wear the exact same helmet, I have never felt that the chin strap was too tight or otherwise uncomfortable. In any case, you cannot go wrong with a Bell helmet. This helmet was only $60.00, so you can't go wrong for the price either!
P.S. The snap-on ear warmers are freakin' awesome in the winter. When I rode to work, it was in the low 20s (and the "felt like" temp. in the teens); when I arrived home it was 31 degree (and the "felt like" temp in the high 20s). My ears NEVER get cold! |

| A decent solid helmet. I would have liked to have gotten the leather covered version of this, but I didn't want the flying skull logo that was on it, so I opted for this one. The Matte Gun finish is nice and I don't think it absorbs heat quite like a black one would, which is good thing. Sets you apart from all the "men in black" bikers out there.
The original one did not fit me and I had to exchange it for a size larger. I have a Hawk Modular and did have a Z1r Nomad (which was chewed up in a wreck, this one is replacing it), both of which were larges, but I had to get an XL of the Bell to fit. As always, Leather-Up handles returns and exchanges well, so no problems.
The helmet is big, it does kind of give you the mushroom head look, but considering how important my skull is to me I'm willing to accept that the extra protection is worth looking a little odd.
I like the goggle strap and the removable ear covers. My only real complaint is that the chin strap seems to dig into my throat a bit. This may improve once I have a windscreen on the bike and won't have to cinch it so tight to keep it from lifting in the wind. |
