| Wow! ordered on wednesdy ,got it tuesday AM. I am 190 lbs. 5'10 38" waist and the large fit perfect. has more pockets than one could expect at three times the price, also my little 380 personal protection gun fit in the front pocket without showing. leather was also soft , as was my jacket recieved last fall. | A great vest! I wear vests partly for the pockets, and this vest has plenty. Very sturdy, heavy leather, without being too stiff. Very comfortable right out of the shipping box; will get better after being worn a while.
I'm writing mostly to help with choosing the correct size. Reviews from other customers were very helpful to me in choosing a size, so I'd like to build on that.
As others have noted, this vest needs to be ordered several sizes larger than one might think. I ordered this vest in "2XL", which fits me perfectly, worn over a T-shirt and denim work shirt. I am 6'0", 200 lbs; I wear "large" work shirts, size 48 sports jacket, 34W jeans. I'm a "mature" guy, but my chest is still larger than my gut. If the reverse is true for you, then go with even larger sizes.

| Recently had this shipped and the vest itself is awesome, but the size chart is ridiculously off. I have about a 46-47" chest so i figured that the 2XL would have room to spare, but it was still tight enough that I could almost pop a snap when I took a deep breath. Waiting on a 3XL not, but they are out of stock...almost tempted to say heck with it and take the 4XL if they have it (only an inch bigger than the 3XL). Either way, it is an incredible vest and I hope to actually get to wear it someday, but make sure to add at least 2 to 3 sizes larger than what you usually wear when ordering. |

| A hell of a nice leather vest at this price. It is of both robust weight leather as well as having a nice grain to it. No doubt we Americans eat a much more calorie rich diet than the Pakistanis who manufactured these vests. I'm a 46-48 chest (jacket); but my waist(belly) is more like a 50-52. The clever zippers on the vest's sides for tailoring the vest don't afford enough leeway for my 2x-larg vest to be buttoned closed; but around my chest and arms it fits very nicely. Rather than returning it for a 3x-large(or larger) I'm simply going to have a local leather tailor 'expand' on the "clever zippers". That way I can button it closed when desired; but tailor it down so it doesn't flap in the breeze like a flag when UN-buttoned.
As far as LeatherUp's service is concerned it is First Rate! I ordered late on a Monday afternoon and the FED-X truck was at my door Wednesday morning! |

| A great fitting vest of very soft leather. Enough pockets for convenience and every need. This vest even has an inner pocket for concealed carry. I have a 32" waist and a 43" chest and a large fits perfectly. It's definitely worth the money. |

| I must admit at this inexpensive price I was half expecting that 'cheap shiny cardboard-like' kind of leather- but this vest is the real deal, great weight & feel with a nice flannel like lining in ALL the pockets. The sizing, as often mentioned here can be tricky though... I'm 5'10" & 185 lbs. 45" chest / 34" waist and the XL fits fine over a tee shirt- however if I were wearing it over a sweatshirt or wearing a lot of stuff on my belt (phone, knife, flashlight etc.) I'd definitely need to bump up a size... |

| As seems to be the case with all Leatherup products the sizing runs on the small side. I had to send the first one back in exchange for a bigger size. The exchange was painless and smooth. I sent the initial vest back and just over a week later I received another one.
That being said this vest is great. The machine stitched seems are straight and tight with no puckering of the leather. The pockets are deep and roomy and very easy to access while wearing it. The leather is soft and pliant and strong. I have no doubts that this vest will last me a very very long time.
I have a 52 inch chest and had to order a 5XL for it to fit well over a jacket I liked this vest for the straight seem across the back versus the others that come down in a V. The straight seem is more conducive to my club patch.
Great quality of product, hassle free exchange, great price, fast processing, cheap shipping. It's hard to find a vendor that provides all of that these days. But Leatherup does, so they've just acquired a life long customer. |

| I agree with the previous guy that made a review on this item. The item is great looking but big problem in size. I am size 49 chest 46 waist measured with a seamstress tape measure and ordered the 3xl which should be sizd 2xl easily but decided to go 3xl. I did receive a 3xl but when I measured the vest laying flat it measured 23 accross x 2 = 46. I am hoping the 5xl will do the trick because it is a great price. I think by me calling and telling the customer service they had a problem with the chart he wasn't very interested and asked me to measure myself! So when buying the item ask them to measure the arm pit to arm pit size of their item to see if it really matches what their chart shows. |

| I received my vest today. Shipping was prompt. The vest is well made, thick leather, soft and wearable right out of the package. It was what I expected, and is a great value for the low price the company charges. The vest is make in Pakistan. As I found out when I bought a heavy motorcycle jacket a few years ago, Pakistani sizes are not American sizes. I wear an American extra large. Knowing that I had had to purchase an obsenely large (size number wise) jacket, I oredred a 3XL vest. It fits, but is snug. To be really comfortable with plenty of shirt room, I guess I should have ordered a 4XL. You can't go by the size chart. If you want a snug fit, go 2 sizes larger. If you plan on wearing anything heavy under it, go 3. Now I should add that I have a Harley rider physique: a broader middle than chest, and it is the middle that stains the third snap.
I have plenty of motorcycle vests. I bought this as a travel vest (and if you've ever priced travel vests, you know what an incredible bargain this vest is). It has two zippered pockets and two snapped pockets outside, and a snapped pocket (as well as an open pocket) inside: plenty of secure space for passport, wallet, etc.
Again, it is a great vest which feels and wears as good as it looks. Just make sure of your Pakistani size before you order. |

It's already soft and wearable just when we get broken in to each other. I'm 5'11" about 190lbs wear a large shirt/ xl jacket(long arms 42-44" chest)abbout 33" waist. I ordered a Lg and it fits nice and snug like it should but is adjustable to be a little tighter or looser than I need w/ side zippers. I ordered a large hoping it would be the fit totally willing to trade up to xl if needed but Lg is perfect. vest has plenty of pockets outside and in plus handwarmer pockets for when your walking around. the best part of the vest: the price! I definately would have paid 2x the amount if I was to try it on in a store; if you are thinking about this one: just pull the trigger and do it, you will not be disappointed...T |
