Jonathan D. from CLINTON, MD:
Great pair of "snow" pants. I ordered them 2 sizes up to wear as overpants and they fit quite well. These are waterproof, and you will want to wear something underneath as there is it is a plastic material on the inside. Not sure if i'll wear these during the summer, but they were great when I was learning to ride a motorcycle for the first time in the rain. I do wish they had some hip protection, though. not many pants seem to offer this.

Joe M. from Pleasantville, Somewhere:
Thee pants are exactly what I was looking for and they match my jacket perfectly. I ordered one size up than I normally wear and it was a perfect fit over my pants. It looks as though it will be waterproof which is one of the things I wanted. The armor looks to be able to do the job protecting me and even with the armor it is very comfortable. I cannot imagine anyone not being happy with these armored pants. Thank you again leatherup. You have again supassed my expectations.

Shawn D. from RIVERTON, UT:
The pants are great. I ordered them on Friday, hand them in my hands the following Tuesday. Great service!! I have been riding in low teen temperatures and have not had an issue with the cold. Much better than my chaps. I ordered two sizes larger than my normal pants, and they are great as overprints. I have one complaint, I wish they were 2" longer. As it is, my pants stick out below the legs. And, unless i'm wearing boots, my ankles feel the wind. Not a show stopper, but a little annoying. Maybe on really wet days, I'll pull out my gators. Otherwise, these are great for the money. I would highly recommend them.

I was happy to see that the item was back in stock after a long time out-of-stock. The price of the pants is fantastic--I can't find anything close to the quality for the price at any other site. I do not use them as overprints so I bought my regular pants size. if I used them as overprints, I would have needed to go 1-2 sizes up. I am very happy with the quality, they are thick and warm--too warm for any riding over 60 degrees. I can not attest to being waterproof but they are water resistant. I like the way they look and feel and they exceed my expectations.

George H. from CLOVIS, NM:
After reading all the comments on these pants, majority of which said to order at least 1 or 2 sizes up, I went with a 36. Pants leg fit are about right as they fit over my jeans, but waist adjustment fell short. I have a 32 inch waist. I lost 55 lbs (25 kg) and now am a trim 172 lbs (78 kg). Added 3 inches of velcro sewn on the straps each side so waist could be adjusted. If you are a trim person, going one size up is probably right, not 2. I think those who are big boned, heavily muscled (body builders) or overweight may need to upsize more. With the velcro modification, these pants now work. These pants don't have a long zipper all the way up the side, so you'll have to remove your boots before taking them on or off.

I am satisfied with my purchase. Item was delivered in a very timely manner. Initial purchase was too large. I sent item back and got a proper fitting size. Turnaround time was a little long but follow-up service was great. If these pants are as good as the first pair of pants I purchased, things will be great. Good company to deal with.

Do NOT get them 2X bigger than your normal pants size. I swam in mine (even when putting them on over jeans). Go 1 size larger and you'll be fine. Very warm (34 degree ride for 45 minutes, my legs were fine).

Nice pants. I like most people ordered the wrong size and had to sent them back. Went two sizes up and the fit is perfect. The knee pads line up and the length was right on the money. Everything I have has come from leather up! The prices and quality can't be beat. What else can I say. You want he best you buy from the best. Thanks Leather up. Mike Walsh Westerly,Rhode Island

Ron P. from SAN ANSELMO, CA:
They came fast as always will lerather up but they are just in LA and im in the bay area. They are the best looking biker pants I have seen and I looked around alot.I ordered my size abnd they fit like they area my size. My only problem with them is the left pocket is like cut off short in side and the right side is regular deep kinda pocket. The armer in the knees not as stong as the as my Icon knee and shin guard but I can take thers out and use mine under. Its just that one weird size pocker. Kinda like pockets that arent really pocket just made to look that way. Whats up with that. I appreciate good looking as much as the next guy but Im also big are practicality. Like pockets are usefull also.I havent got to try them out in the cold or rain yet but they wanted a review now so here it is just not complete. I woud wear these as pants If they had back pockets Id really like it.Wallet got to go someplace. Im sure they are warmand Im big on protection. Also got some armered underwear. cevlar in the thighs ect, And a carbon viber rib vest. Broke ribs twice. Not fun. So I guess you would say I recomend these pants Im sure they keep the wind out and they are great lookin.

I LOVE these pants. They are for winter and are water proof. I took them to our local cleaners who also do alterations. The crotch hung down to my knees and I could not lift my leg over the bike unless I pulled them up to my chest. The alteration lady took 5 inches out of the Crotch. NOW THESE PANTS ARE REALLY AWESOME. I can ride in 10 degrees below zero with these and my Girbing Heated Liner. AWESOME!!! PANTS!!!! Thank You Leather Up!!!

they say to order two sizes up to get a good overpant. dont get maybe one size up if not he same size. there is a lot of sag and the velcro side straps dont strap tight enough. when i stand up, they fall down several inches. these pants are HOT and not suitable for riding except in the winter

Great find, great look & compfort. Exactly what the previous reviews mentioned. I'm short @ 5'7. Got a 32 waist (one size up). Had the dry cleaner alter & cut 2 inches from the length. Cost $12.00. Sweet.

Senon G. from SAN DIEGO, CA:
I ordered these pants 2 sizes large to wear over my jeans. I would say to others, ONLY ORDER 1 SIZE LARGER. Even wearing baggy jeans they still fit pretty loosely, luckily they have some great adjusters on the hip to take in the extra slack. The maiden voyage in these pants was at night in 19 degree weather, felt warm and toasty inside like I was in my truck. The crotch hangs too low on these pants, making them ride all the way to the top of your boots when you mount up, expect air leaks and cold calves if you dont wear anything under them. Maybe they would be better suited for a cruiser rider, I ride an SV650s and having my legs so bent makes them ride high. The material feels a bit slick on my seat as well, kinda slide around a bit in the saddle. All in all, these are great pants for the money and I would buy them again for use on easier rides or commuting.

Zsolt B. from CONSHOHOCKEN, PA:
Very nice pants for the price. Pros: great quality, good protection, very comfortable, nice look. Cons: not breathable, liner not removable, somewhat short leg length (I'm 6 feet tall). If you need a pair of pants for colder weather, these pants are great but you'll sweat a lot in 70 weather. I did not want to use them as overpants so I bought my size (32) and didn't go one size up as it was recommended by many. Pants fit perfectly.

Patrick D. from CHEYENNE, WY:
Well I did call as the 32" leg seemed short as I take a 34". I was told that they were longer and when they arrived they did seem to drop well down on the heel. However when I came to use them on the bike, the armour in the knees rucks them up so they ride half way up my calves. They do not do a longer leg length (WHY?) so I have some ballistic nylon and some sew on velcro and will get the local tailor shop to add 3" to the bottom to rectify.

Nice pants. I am a 35/36 waist and ordered the 38 after reading the reviews. Pants are a little too big but they work. They are comfortable and the only thing i dont like is I cant put them on or take them off without taking my boots off due to the leg openings dont open big enough for a size 11 boot.

Pants are excellent. Only issue I have is they are not very breatheable. On a warm day you will sweat alot, but that is the only issue I have, but it's not really an issue. Protection is great. Fit true to size chart. Fast shipping, excellent quality, and outstanding customer service. Love Leatherup.

I have usually had a good experience with Xelement but unfortunately that was not the case with this pair of pants. I may have received a bad pair but the stitching that held the loop to tighten the waist tore off within the first few months. I know they are only $60 but I expected a little better quality.

I love these pants!!!! I followed the instructions and ordered two sizes larger because I wanted to wear them over slacks on my commute to work. They fit great! They are very warm! Teach night classes at the university and I have about a 30 minute commute home at about 10pm. The last few nights the temp has been 40 degrees and with these pants I can say I don't get cold. I love the reflective stitching as well. I really love this gear.

Very nice for the money. Well built and provided good wind break and warmth for riding yetserday in Colorado. 36- 40 degress. Ordered 2 sizes bigger and fit perfect with jeans underneath. The knee pads fit a little low for me though, more like shin guards, whatever I just took them out. I am a 34 and ordered 38. great buy!

Pretty good for the price! I agree with the other reviews, 2 sizes up for jeans. They look good too! They are a bit on the short side, so make sure your jeans are long enough to keep the wind off the shins! Lower zippers are useless! Only my foot with socks can make er through! Would be much better if the knee armor was adjustable. No armor in the hips???

100% waterproof and warm too! i ride in 23 degree weather and these pants are awsome. look great too. if you get these pants buy an xelement jacket as well so they zip together, really keeps out any and all cold wind. i wear a 32 and got a 34 and i can use these alone or as an overpant, not too bulky looking, quite sexy lol.

Very nice over my jeans on those cold morning commutes. I'm a 33 and ordered a 36 and they fit well over my jeans. Only issue is the zippered cuff doesn't go far enough up the leg so I have to remove my shoes to get them off and on. Otherwise, great pants!

Perfect addition to my Xelement riding jacket and zippers in the back and make a good seal for those cold rides. Plus they are kind of got a retro style to them which I like. Order these at least one size bigger if wearing over you're regular pants. Leather up is awesome with shipping and customer service.

my 2nd review. just got the pants. I followed advice below and ordered 2 sizes up. now wish I had just ordered 1 size up as they are a bit big even over my sweat pants. I can't tighten the velcro adjustment anymore. lucky I also got the matching jacket so I can just use the incl zipper. other than that, the pant leg is perfect length and repel water excellent.

The Xelement advanced level-3's are Good Riding pants at a good price....I took the advice from the other reviews and ordered two sizes larger but when they arrived they were big. I shipped them back and was promptly shipped another pair (a size smaller). Good fit that really kept me warm riding in 35 degree weather. It was foggy and damp but thats as close to wet as i've gotten in these pants so far. I will order from Leather Up again and highly recommend them. ~Marc Mathes

Customer service is great. Pants are a great value, but could use a few improvements. Two sizes over regular pants size allows proper fit for wearing over jeans. Leg length is a little short but works fine for my 30" inseam. Good winproofing but not a lot of insulation. I added Velcro closures at leg bottoms which makes for better windproof and lower leg comfort.

I like the pants but if you want to wear them over your jeans you must get them two sizes larger. When you mount your hog expect the pants to rise up high enough to give the bottom of your shins a chill. That's a bummer because I am only six feet tall.

What a great pair of motorcycle pants. I ordered them on Tuesday night and they were at my house on Friday. Talk about great service. I ordered a 42 so I could be sure to have room wear over my clothes. I wear a 38 in the waist usually and the 42 afforded me the room that I need to be able to wear as overpants. If I want I can still just wear them as motorcycle pants too. Not too bulky to do that. The look is great. The quality of the product is super. Great stitching and a perfect match to the jacket I purchase also. Leather-up is A1 in service and in product quality.

Another nice product from xelement. I have a jacket which is awsome. Warm while riding in the 30's and bearable in the 100's. I bought these because my JR's zipper broke. I compared the two and ithey seem virtually the same! Cant wait to try the pants out. I gave a 4 out of 5 staronly because the pant liner does not come out. Might get a little toasty.
