Love the pants! Wear size 32 and ordered 32. Fit was perfect and shipping fast. Was gonna order another pair but they are out of the 32. Wait til they stock back up. Best pants I own now, the stretching in crotch area is awesome.

John F. from La Marque, TX:
The pants look great and are well made. My only problem with them is the sizing. To say that these pants run small is an understatement. I wear 34 waist pants and some are even 36. I ordered the size 36 and they were way too tight. I couldn't even button them up. I then sent them back and got the size 38 as a replacement. Those fit me kind of snug but I'm not bothering with sending them back again. I plan on dropping about 5-8 pounds anyway which should make them fit better.

Rock K. from owenton, KY:
These jeans are a good fit. I usually wear a 31 in the waist, but the 32 fit perfect. I like the padding in the knees not only for motorcycle safety, but for working pants. I also like the stretch material in the crotch for the motorcycle use and for work use. I wish they had these jeans in carpenter style because I like to use the side pocket for my cell, but these will have to do. I think the price is a little high. If it was lower and they were carpenter pants, I probably would buy more of them.

Runs small. Buy the next size up and you'll be fine. I ordered 32W which is my size. Returned them awaiting 34W. Overall impression, good looking well built riders pants that appear well made. The only reason for the star reduction was because of the size issue. Take others advice-go the next size up if you're over 40. Lol.

Good for the money. Not too stylish but will do the job for a short leisure ride. The knee pads are on the soft side but better than nothing. Order one size up. I wear 32 and got a 34 that fits right.

Barry P. from SANDY, UT:
Of all the items I've bought from Leather Up, this was the only one I wasn't completely satisfied with, and it was probably my fault. I'm 6'3 and a biscuit over 220 lbs. I wear a 36x38 shrink to fit 501's, and the 32" inseam was just too short, they looked like Capri pants and I just can't pull off that look. I have a riding buddy that they will fit so he gets em. If they ever get them in a longer length I'm down for a pair. The stretch knees and groin are an awesome feature.

I ride AGATT and like to know there is also some armor in it, I have tried a number of brands for armored riding jeans that work as well off the bike, these are nice jeans run a bit small but remember that with waist size increases so goes the leg size and length. I bought these 2 sizes up and the legs where huge, great value just a gamble with sizing - free shipping is great if they fit on first order, as soon as you need to return it and change the size - the cost benefit is gone. so back they went

I bought this jeans and not happy with the fit. Pants are not true size. I have the blue one it was great so I got the black pair it is totally different fit. It is way to small now I just hope I shed few pounds before riding season starts so I can wear them, because my 30 day window has past. Very disappointed.

Joseph C. from PERKIOMENVLLE, PA:
Took a 40mph slide wearing these a few weeks ago. The friction between pants and thigh gave me a minor abrasion, but pants held up to the road without a tear and I"m sure the kneepad absorbed some of the original impact with ground. You wouldn't even guess based on the jeans that it ever happened. Jeans and my Xelement Jacket saved me a lot of pain and kept me from being in the hospital with a nurse working me over with a brillo pad. Also fit comfortably and are a less showy than a lot of riding pants. I'll buy more.

christopher p. from WOODSIDE, NY:
I want to love these pants but they're just ok. The denim on them is actually thinner than a sturdy pair of jeans and the pads really aren't that significant. They're just foam that isn't very contoured at all. So, you guessed it, they don't naturally wrap around your knee or stay in place very well. With time I'm sure the pads may shape to my knee. But I wonder about the effectiveness of padding that is pliable enough to bend/turn and be formed over time.

Marla M. from PHOENIX, AZ:
My husband likes these pants so much that I bought him 2 more pairs for Christmas. The rise is high enough that his back isn't exposed when he leans forward. There is plenty of room for adding additional armour in the knees and hips. The panel at the knees makes them very comfortable for riding long periods of time. And yet when he gets off the bike, he is very comfortable walking around in these jeans. A great product!

I bought this pants a few months ago and I am please with them. I am 6 feet 2 inches and 300 plus. Few things though, be careful when you are putting your legs in, your foot will get stuck at the knee protection pocket and if you are doing it too fast you will rip it from pants. I also bought a pair of denim don't know why but fitting was sooo different I sent them back for exchange.

Order ONE size larger as suggested. I wear 38x34 Levi's and the 40 Xelements were a perfect fit in waist and length. The knee padding is fair, tends to move around abit. But for a cost cheaper then Levi's these are a good bargin!

Donny W. from BREMERTON, WA:
True to fit. These are my favorite riding pants. Im 6'2" 280lbs. I normally wear size 44 and bought size 46 based on the "small" reviews. I returned them for 44's and they're looser than my wrangler, levis & old navy jeans. I ride a cruiser and the "comfort elastic" is really really nice. Very breezy in the important parts. All my other pants ride up and smash the boys but the comfort elastic in these provide the most comfort of any riding pant I've ever ridden in. The knee armor falls below my knees when standing but ride up into position when riding. When I fall the only thing protecting my knees will be "comfort elastic" so I've accepted the risk of skinless knees. The armor in these pants is better than nothing. You won't be sorry you bought them. The boys will thank you.

Vicki S. from La Habra, CA:
Great value, you cannot get motorcycle jeans for less that $90 or so, although I like the other brands that have kevlar sewn into the knee's and back, still this is a great deal, they run pretty close to regular jean sizing, maybe a little tighter, but not bad compared to the jackets which you have to order 2 sizes or more than your regular size, One question, why do a lot of the motorcycle jeans have such big leg openings at the bottom ? I would like to have them look more like regular jeans, I mean you are not going to use these for the track, in which case you would tuck the pants into your boots.

Great for warmer weather - fit is true to size and the length is perfect for the riding position. Very comfortable - like a regular pair of jeans but these are much heavier for protection. Like 'em.

Joel H. from Greenville, MS:
Ordered my regular size and the fit was good. I had to take 2' off the length, tack the top of both armor pockets as they were only tacked on one side, I also had the armor pockets sewed all the way across the bottom as they were sagging badly. After all the work they are very comfortable, I will order the blue pair and have the same work done...

Great product for the price. Had to sew in a nylon cuff to tuck into the boots as these are truly a 32" inseam. They are true to size in the waist. Great for standing up but when you bend your leg they ride up.

Steven C. from SCOTTSDALE, AZ:
Ok, this is the second Xelement item that I have ordered (returned the first item) and to sum it up, Leather Up is great to deal with, but Xelement clothing has a really strange fit. Pants are not long enough for sport or touring riding (I'm 6ft and wear a 36/38 pant with a 32 inseam) and should be at least 1" longer if not more. If you have a 29-31" inseam they would be about right. Also they are a low rise pant, which is weird for bike appearal. Stylish but not practical unless you like airflow down the back of your pants while riding. Honestly I would rather pay twice as much for a longer inseam and higher rise.

Richard P. from Clinton, IA:
These are extremely comfortable riding pants. The elastic panels stretch in all the right places. The knees fit just right when siting on the bike. I can't say much about size because I have lost a lot of weight and don't have a "normal" size to go by. My only issues are the pockets that are very small and shallow, I would like to see a few more belt loops, and the pockets for the knee armor make them hard to get on. I had them sewn in a little better to hold them in place, that fixed that. For norman pants the length would be a bit long for me, I usually get 30" inseam, but for riding they are perfect. Overall, for the price, I have never seen anything better. I got a few pairs for traveling and will need to get more later if I keep loosing weight.

a little short in fit. Also, only padding is in knees, and jeans aren't any heavier than any other jeans. Frankly, i was a little disappointed. Price is good though and looks good.
