Anthony T. from MANALAPAN, NJ:
Great Jacket. I love the look, the feel, the fit, and am thoroughly happy with the purchase. It is a nice heavy leather yet it breaks in easily and has good protective padding all around. I removed the back pad but am comfortable with the padded chevrons & padded waist on the back. My only suggestion would be to have some reflective piping. As for sizing, I am a 48"chest with a 40" waist and am about 5'10" tall. I purchased the 2XL and it fits perfectly. The liner zips in & out easily which makes it easy to switch during these finicky Spring days here in the northeast.

excellent service for one except when I had to send it back for a larger size, guys I'm 6'1" 240 lbs, if you're anywhere in this vicinity go with the 3x or you're just gonna have to send it back, once it got worked in, feels great and wears even better, good material, will order from them again, looking at chaps, didn't expect the quality but it's really good, lots of compliments. haven't tried it WITH the armor in yet but just starting to ride..Chicago what can I say

After reading several reviews before ordering I would highly recommend to anyone to order one size bigger than you normally wear, I'm 6'4" 217lbs and the 3X fits great. It will still fits like a motorcycle jacket should. This is a great bang for your buck. There is no compromise made with this choice, High quality!!!

I'm 5' 11"s with a 39-40" chest weight 165-very athletic. I'm 25.5"s from shoulder to end of wrist. I bought the LARGE for winter riding with layers underneath. It fits great for this purpose. the sleeves are about perfect. It fits a bit large by itself, especially the neck area. One thing about this coat, if you want protection- IT'S GOT IT! ...Maybe even a little too much..lol The thick back pad takes up alot of space in the shoulder area when you reach out, and the armor stays in place! The zippers are ecellent quality. All in all, for the price, this is an OUTSTANDING JACKET! Nit Picks: The zippers for the vents let in a bit of cold, but not bad. The inner liner is about worthless, and it's not full length in the sleeves. In warmer weather, The coat does flow a decent amount of air with the vents unzipped, but I have to make sure to open the back vents, otherwise this coat really balloons, and the collar starts to choke me. The 3 pockets aren't great, but good enough. I'm happy with it!

Phil S. from HAGUE, NY:
This jacket is great. I'm 5',7" 163lbs and the med. fit well. It is rather snug but it is supposed to be that way for the proper protection. Right now it is still stiff because it is new, when it breaks in it will be much more comfortable. I'm in the process of "beating it up" to make it softer. Removing the armor and Putting it in the dryer with no heat (or low heat) several times is helping break it in along with sitting on it and a quality leather conditioner . There are lots of tips online on breaking in leathers. This is a AWSOME jacket at a GREAT price!

WOW for the $$$ you can't beat this Jacket. I am 5'9" and 165lbs. This Jacket riding in the Colorado weather REALLY blocks the Cold air while riding on a Sport bike. I can feel air coming through the vent zippers but not bad for I run hot anyway. If you have broad shoulders like I do I recommand that you go with a Large, with armor in its a tight snap at the collar. I am wearing a medium and would like to size up, only had the Jacket since October, but love the Look and so do the LADIES. Arm length is good and with gauntlet gloves on no WIND up the arms. Waist is multi adjustable being its velcro. LEATHERUP has my Business for Sure. Keep up the Great job

Benjamin W. from FONTANA, CA:
Great value, though I have a few problems with it. I've got large, thick, athletic build. I'm 6'0 and 210 lbs, most of it on top. I ordered an XL The jacket is a good fit everywhere except the forearms. It's supposed to be tight, but I can't fit a sweater under it. For the average person, it should be absolutely perfect. Great wind protection, feels very tough and the leather seems to be holding up well. I've ridden it so far in everything from 20 degree F weather to 90 degree F and loved it all along. My only real complaint with the jacket itself is the zippers. More than once, a couple of the zippers have popped open and I've had to screw with them to get them tracked properly again.

Daniel W. from COLUMBIA, SC:
This jacket is an outstanding value! Nice thick leather and the fit is really good. I am 5'11' and ordered the LG and the fit is snug, just like it is supposed to be. A jacket like this is not meant to be baggy. The only problem I have is the velcro waist adjustment straps. They only allow a small bit of adjustment - and the jacket is loose at the very bottom. If you puull those straps too much you'll have the straps flapping in the wind. I'll get them fixed. The only addition I would make is to put a zipper or velcro on the inside pocket, so you don't have things falling out. But - - - The jacket is amazing for $130! I would definitely recommend this jacket.

Robert F. from GONZALES, LA:
When I left out this morning, it was 35 deg. F. From my waist down was cold and from my collar up was cold. Everything in between was warm. I am 6' 4", 170 lbs. I ordered the XL, but the sleeves were too short and the chest was too tight. I returned it for the 2XL and it fits perfectly. The only drawback, if it even IS a drawback, is the little jacket hanger at the back of the neck. I would not try to hang this jacket by that little loop. It is sure to break. All in all, a great jacket. A little stiff at first, but is loosening up as I wear it. I ordered by the chart and by what I usually wear, but I had to go one size up. Great jacket! Get one!

Jacket fits perfect!! I am a larger guy so it is hard to find motorcycle jackets that fit me, I am tall and have a 60" chest and the 5xl fit pefect. Surprisingly with my long torso and long arms it even fit in length!

This is one HEAVY jacket! Again, I would recommend getting a size larger than normally worn. The zip out insulation is a definite must in cooler weather. I doubt I'll wear it in the summer months. Will probably opt for a mesh jacket for warm weather riding. The quality is outstanding. Leatherup.com is fantastic!

This is a great jacket at a great price. Very warm and makes you look like a Road Warrior. Only shortcomings are shallow pockets and noticeable restriction due to the backpad. I would also recommend that you get the next size up as it is a VERY snug fit.

Very nice jacket for the price. I'm 5'9" 155 lbs with a 40 inch chest and bought the medium and the fit was perfect. Jacket has plenty of armor/padding and the leather is surprisingly thick, especially considering how little it costs. I live in Louisiana and I found the vents to work quite well in 85F~ temps, but I haven't had a chance to try it during the blazing summer sun. I'm sure it would be tolerable as long as you kept moving.

Brady A. from RALEIGH, NC:
Good jacket, one of the top zippers was off and wouldn't stay closed when i got it. Took a pair of plyers to it and got it set right though. Very heavy and stiff jacket all in all. Feels like I could get hit by train and be totally alright, not a jacket to wear once you get off the bike however, but that might change after it gets broken in. I'm 6'2" and 195 lbs with a slim waist, got the XL and it fits great in the arms but is fairlly large in the torso, but I feel like that will allow me to layer up a lot in the winter. All in all a killer deal for the money.

Let me tell you. I bought this jacket because it looked cool and seemed to have what I needed. I never realized how absolutly spectacular it would turn out to be. For the last two weeks I have been rideing the southeastern USA through 11 states and ALL KINDS OF WEATHER. I wore this jacket the whole time and it never let me down. Its just a great freakin jacket! I ordered up a size so I could fit a hooded jacket under. BUY THIS JACKET NOW!

This is my first leather motorcycle jacket and it's great! The quality of the leather is outstanding and the workmanship is worth much more than $130.00. I am 5'10", 205 lbs. I ordered 2XL. I normally wear XL, but thanks to the earlier reviewers, I've chosen wisely. The jacket needs some wearing as it is somewhat stiff, but does not affect the ride in any adverse way at all. Great protection from the wind at ambient temps of 40-45 degrees. I've worn it on days at 70 degrees, and the vents on the jacket did tbeir jobs superbly. My only and small not so favorable comment is the inside pocket does not have a velcro or zipper. Just not comfortable putting anything in there only to find out it slip out during the ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

All the comments about good quality are spot on. It is a stout, heavy jacket that may feel like you need to size up as some other comments state. I'm only 5'6" and 155lb and got a medium and like the fit. Without a doubt, an exceptional value. Service and communication with Leatherup.com is 1st class.

Just took my first ride this past week with this jacket in pretty cold Minnesota fall weather..i.e. in the 30's and 40's. Rode 425 mi in three days. I was amazed how it kept the cold and wind out Still can't believe the price a jacket of this quality. I also bought the gloves, and am equally pleased. Note.. I usually wear a 2X (50 in chest/44-46 waist) and had to return it for a 3X... which is still a bit tight...so order one or two sizes larger due to the armor/padding. Have 4 more items on my wish list from Leatherup.com A. Anderson Frontentac, MN

Works like it's supposed to. I bought this jacket last Spring to wear on my Victory Kingpin. Recently I was involved in an accident when a deer ran out in front of me before I could react. Needless to say, I took a little spill in the ditch. Part of the deer hit me in the chest (I know because there were parts of it stuck there), but the jacket suffered not a scratch, and other than being sore, I'm fine.

Good for the money. I am a size large, i ordered large, and it fit great. 1. the vents are great. I am from NYC and I can wear the jacket in the summer as long as i dont stop. 2. You get what you pay for, so the details are a little cheap. For example, i wore the jacket about 20 times, and there is already wear and tare appearing at the cuffs; also, you can tighten the jacket on the side, but its plastic on the side, and for me it broke the 2nd week i had it. 3. It is a thick jacket, so i think it will keep you safe.

Matthew C. from Pleasantville, Somewhere:
This is an excellent quality jacket and the price is unbelievable! I am very impressed with the overall quality. I expected rough looking or patched-together leather and am very pleased to report that it all matches and looks very "finished". I love the additional padding in the low back and kidney area and the included armor makes me feel that much more secure, although the jacket is thick enough that I would feel protected even without it. A note on sizing, these jackets are tapered almost like a "Euro" or "race" cut, so measure your waist AND your chest before ordering. I'm shaped more like a barrel at 6'4" 290lbs and will need to exchange for the next size up as it sits too narrow at my waist. However, you want the jacket to be snug. If the armor shifts or the jacket is too loose, you can get abrasions and scrapes even if your skin never hits the road.

I'm 6'5" tall 240 pounds and have long arms. I got the 2XL and its a great fit, the arms could to be a little longer, but I think it'll relax after being worn and will be fine. I would probably go 3XL if I was going to wear heavy clothes under it.

Great looking jacket, feels like it will be very durable. I am 5'6" and 175lbs, I ordered the medium, it was a little tight, so I removed the CE pads and the liner, I don't need it in south Texas anyway, now it fits perfect. The shoulders, elbows and back have built in padding, so removing the CE pads isn't that big of a deal. I didn't return it, because the large would probably be to long for me, and I really like the way the medium fits without the liner and CE pads.

For the price, a great buy. I am 5' 8" and 145 lbs, and bought the Medium. it fits well, but none too roomy. I wanted to make sure I could fit a fleece under it, for colder weather, but think that may be a bit of a stretch. The sleeves are pretty tight, but with the zippers, work fine. I do think the sleeves could have been just slightly longer, as when I'm riding, they leave a bit of wrist exposure between my sleeve and glove. Overall, a good fit though. I feel much safter riding, having this jacket. The first jacket I received had a broken zipper sleeve. Leatherup customer service was first-rate, sending an immediate replacement via expedited shipping, and providing me free shipping on the original jacket. Nice work! Really glad I bought it, and would definitely buy again.

What a great jacket for the price!! It looks great and fits well. Size chart is accurate. I ususally wear a med and ordered a large and it fits like a glove. If you're slim like I am, you should love it. It's a little tight with the armour in but it's removable untile it breaks in a little. After a few weeks it's fine. Pretty cool in hot temps with the thermal lining removed and the vents open as long as you're moving. Anxious to try nit out in the colder weather. People have told me it looks like a $300.00 jacket and they're amazed when I tell them what I paid here at Leather Up. Thanks Guys!!!

Great Jacket, the fit is small so order a size or two larger. I love the way it fits/looks and it is warm (closed) and cool with the vents opened. I rode yesterday and the vents allow cool air to cool the inside when you want them open. The only issue was a broken snap and they sent me a return authorization and got the second one right back to me. Thanks LeatherUp!

I am very impressed with this purchase. it fits perfectly! its comfortable. It has a zip out liner. and is heavy gage leather. and the armor is great! I would have thought that it would be difficult to move around in but its not. Only thing that I would probably change is the neck area I have a really large neck and I cant button this part up, but it is not even bad enough to say anything to negative about. and its Not that imitation leather. But if you order one it is said that you need to order a size larger than you measure. I measured a 55" in the chest area so I ordered a 4XL. I thought it would be too large but it was perfect. I have absolutley no complaints about this jacket! Thanks for producing such a great product! I am severely satisfied!

Excellent jacket for the price. Leather feels very nice and tough. Armor is more pad like that hard, but still quite thick. I am confident this jacket would protect me in an accident as well as any garment can. Order your normal size if you like a tight fit, otherwise a size bigger might be needed. I wear a large and ordered that size. My neck is a little bigger than most and the collar is too tight for me, there is also more free space in the waist that chest, I assume to accomidate someone's beer gut. Very warm with the included liner. Should be good down to 40F with just a shirt underneath. Remove the liner for a little extra room inside.

Just received this jacket. I ordered a size up 2XL as recommended but it still feels snug. Maybe its because i indulged to much over the holidays who knows. So i went down got on the bike stretched out the arms, it'll be ok. I removed the elbow armor and it fits fine. For those that are a little rounder around the midsection,as i am, and prefer a looser fit I'd go up an extrs size. Beside with the money i saved on here I'll get another jacket. It's almost like getting 2 for 1. Thanks Leatherup.com.

As always, I haven't come across any company that beats or exceeds the quality one gets in these jackets. Thus far, I have purchased two, and a vest; sadly, the lining is not of very good quality- after just a few rides, I noticed the lining was badly frayed. I called in and was rather disappointed as the girl said she could do nothing about that. I am hoping this is just an isolated incident. Also, make sure to get the right size otherwise, you're looking at a long transaction... Regards

Good heavy jacket, I'm 6'2" 210lbs, got the 2XL.Its a little tight with the armor in around the shoulders and a tad short in the sleeves when riding. However that's the only downfalls for me. The jacket is heavy enough that i took out the lining and still feel comfortable riding in below freezing temps. Has great looks and get complemented every time i ride. I would recommend it to anyone who rides every weather in Colorado.

Real Quality leather. I would size up if you want to wear something under it. I used it last night in 40+ weather and layered under it, I stayed warm. It may be to heavy for warm weather but it does have the removable liner and plenty of vents. Again I would size up.

Great jacket, quakity was much better than I expected for the price. This jacket is really heavy leather, gives you a good feeling of protection. Ordered a size up as every one sugggested and it fits good. all my riding buddies are impressed with jacket and blown away by the price. Similiar jacker is $350 t0 $450 at the bike shops. The zippered vents allow me wear it on warmer days, and the zippered cuffs keep the most of the air from going up the sleeve. Really pleased with this purchase and plan on getting more goodies from LeatherUp.

Just Awesome! This jacket fits me perfectly! I thought I needed 3XL but went for the 2XL as my regular size and it fits perfectly! Remember that baggy motorcycle jackets can protect you less during a crash. The Service was very good, tracked it through Fed-Ex and I am very pleased with the outcome. Although don't think you can wear this jacket as your everyday jacket because the back armor really shows and and doesn't look that nice except when you are riding or around your bike! It's made in Pakistan and is really good quality for the money. -Recomended Choice

Very thick and well made jacket. Warm but ventilation and removal of quilted liner makes usable for me up to 80 degrees. Very stiff at first (and padding warped from shipping), but better after mink oil treatment and a few days wear it is supple. I am 6' 250 lbs and went with 5X after returning a 3X that was too tight. 5X fits perfectly. Very highly recommend this jacket. Well made, protective and looks great. Highly recommend leatherup.com. Excellent jacket, you get what you see, I am 5'-7" and 168 lbs. I ordered a medium size and fits perfect, the quality and design are incredible for the price, Leather Up delivered fast. The jacket is heavy and a little stiff, very good protection. 100% satisfied, thank you Leather Up guys.

I pruchased this jacket for myself never expecting to need it's protection. I was involved in an accident which broke my shoulder and leg. When I got to the hospital the trama surgen told my parents that without the jacket my injuries would have been a lot more that a broken shoulder. I still have the jacket and the only damage to the jacket was when the paramedics cut it off of me. I would highly recommend this jacket for looks and protection.

I could not be happier with this jacket. Its super comfortable, it heavy which is good, and it looks really good. Even the zippers on the pockets are comfortable in that they don't scrach your hands when grabbing stuff. The pockets are made out of a good strong material (which was a big problem iI had with another Xelement jacket) and once you wear the jacket a bit and break it in it just feels great. Not to mention that the price is more then reasonable. If your thinking but this jacket do yourself a favor and buy it you wont regret it.

Suprisingly high quality for the price! The first day I got it I went riding in 42 degrees on highway with nothing but a t-* underneath and didn't feel a bit of cold. Very good looking jacket. I think its the best jacket on this site for sportbike. It is a little stiff now but I'm sure it will break in. I am 6 foot 165 lbs and got XL the sleeves fit perfect but a little bit wide in torso, no problem wearing a sweater underneath. All in all I am very happy with this jacket

Best quality leather jacket (like lamb skin, but tougher) I've aquired...metal zippers, removable lining, etc...didn't expect for it to be of such high quality....it looks exactly as pictured. The size ran small:XL... I'm about 5'11", 212lbs; so I ordered the next size up:2XL(long arms). This is about the 4th/5th purchase from 'LeatherUp', and I have been very happy with their prices & quality...& the customer service department is COOL. They have awesome sales every now & then as well. I will refer "LeatherUp' to anyone & everyone...ALWAYS!

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT QUALITY BEAUTIFUL JACKET, THE SIZE IS TRUE, FOR ME I HAVE ONLY ONE CONCERN, THE ARM SLEEVES ARE PRETTY NARROW, I AM IN GREAT PHISICAL CONDITION, NO BELLY BUT MY FOREARMS MIGHT BE A LITTLE LARGER THAN NORMAL WHICH MAKES THE SLEEVES A BIT TIGHT BUT MAYBE AS TIME GOES ON IT WILL BREAK IN AND LOOSEN A BIT, I DID OVER 400 MILES THIS LAST WEEKEND ON MY CBR1000RR, IT WAS NEVER AN ISSUE, ACTUALLY IF I WENT DOWN THE FACT THAT THE SLEEVES ARE SNUG WOULD PROBABALY KEEP THE PADS WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE.. HOPE I NEVER FIND OUT..

I just purchased the jacket and personally like my jackets to fit a little tight because I feel more confortable when riding. I ordered a Large and it fits kinda big on the shoulders. I am 6, 200lbs and a ittle builded and the shoulders are still a little too big. I could wear the L, but I exchanged it for a M and it fits much better

Excellent jacket, nice leather and workmanship, I sent back first purchase because it was too small. Went up one size and it was great. Perhaps Leatherup should adjust their sizing to avoid confusion on the part of customers. I have made many purchases and have always been impressed with the quality and price. Thanks Leatherup

I got this jacket for Christmas (XL size) and love it. I am 5'10" weight 205 lbs. The jacket fits snug but fits good in the sleeve length and at the waist. Like the heavy leather and the heavy duty metal zippers. The sleeves are fitted and my gauntlet leather gloves fit over them. Has a liner and vents if needed. Bought to ride in winter. Thanks Leather Up for a quality product and a great price.

The jacket is well made and the leather is heavy enough to provide good protection. Unless you are going to only wear this jacket during very cold weather and want to layer clothing, order your correct size. Ordered my normal size and it fits great, with only a t-shirt or even with a sweatshirt under it. I've ridden in mid 40 degree weather with it and felt fine. X-Element makes very good products for the price. I've also bought two different pairs of gloves made by them and have been very pleased with the price, quality and fit.

I recieved this jacket in my actual size (I'm 6ft 215lbs, got the XL) and was impressed by the weight and quality of the leather. The size runs true for me, although a little snug in the bicept area, but nothing that some break-in wont take care of. Overall an excellent buy for a quality constructed jacket! I'd expect to spend way more for it elsewhere!

It is everything that the description states and more, comfortable, heavy, durable and very good looking. for a little over 100 bucks this jacket compares to jackets ive spent way more on. Fit is spot on, Im glad i didnt go a size up. Usually wear an XL and thats exactly what i went with. Great heavy quality jacket. This place is the best online store out there by far. It has a cruiser/sporty look to it which was what drew me in. Wear it on any bike. Only thing I could have wished for was a velcro neck and not a snap. A on this deal.

Appears to be very well made. Only wore it once so far, in the low 50's, so limited review: FIT: I'm 6' and 180lbs, and bought a large. It fits slightly lose without the lining, and slightly tight with lining. Anything more than a t-shirt with the lining on and it will be somewhat uncomfortable on a long ride. LOOKS: Awesome IMPROVEMENTS: The inside pocket should have at least some velcro! I don't think I'd trust my wallet to an open pocket! But that's a minor annoyance that you can probably fix yourself, not enough to detract from the overall quality of this jacket.

My new Executioner jacket has arrived and it lives up to all the other reviews. The jacket is a great value for the price. I'm a smallish extra large and a XL was a perfect fit. Alittle stiff but that will break in later just fine. The body armor is another thing to get used to but I see no problem there either. The styling is awesome. Totally cool look. Had also ordered the fitted leather pants to wear with the jacket. Worried the fit would be to tight, but following the advice of other reviews I ordered one size larger and they're prefect. Will be turning heads on my black ZX14. This is my 13th leather jacket (spoiled, I know) and it will be a fine addition to my collection. Will definitely be purchasing from Leather Up in the future. Thanx again.

Awesome jacket, jet black leather that's soft and super thick (Fedex box weighed 7.9lbs!), looks way better than the pics for sure. as far as size of the jacket, I'm 6ft, 180lbs with a 34 inch waist and 42 inch chest and a LG fit but was loose without being broken in, too much slack in the chest and stomach causes it to bunch up so I'm going to exchange it for a M. Wickedest jacket in town, you'll rule the streets with it!

Five star rating totally justified! Heavy, good quality leather, great design, superior features - all at an unbelievably low price! My advice on choosing a size is choose the size you normally wear. At 5' 8", 175 lbs., and a 36 inch waist, I normally wear a large and the Xelement large in this jacket fits me very comfortably. I can even wear one extra layer underneath if needed. The web site pictures are accurate. This jacket compares favorably with those in the $300.00 and up price range. This is a great buy! Don from Brussels, WI

Joseph F. from ROCHESTER, NY:
Shell - full leather, metal zippers, heavily padded in the arms and back - the whole thing feels heavy - zero signs of defect on the stitching or leather or sips or straps - the front zipper includes a 1"-wide interior lapel to protect from moisture, but we all know how well those work Liner - thin but standard - the interior zipper gave me some hassle until I tossed it in the dryer on low and it was fine - the liner also snaps at the wrists, so it goes all the way down the arms Vents are mesh-lined; wrist cuffs are not (which is good, because otherwise removing the liner would be a nightmare), although they have the same interior lapel to protect from moisture that the shell does. The removable armor is foam-based, but you wouldn't know it to wear it; imagine taking a TempurPedic mattress and smashing it down to 1/2" thick - that's the armor we're talking about. If you remove the back plate, you can punch it hard against a wall and it absorbs it all, leaving nothing but a slowly-vanishing knuckle-print. Anything you see on the jacket that looks like it's raised or accented is not removable armor (elbow, bicep, shoulder, upper/lower back) - it's just extra padding between the mesh and shell. That having been said, it looks terrifyingly cool and isn't nearly as raised as I thought it would be. To increase mobility, remove the foam back insert, and it's not much different than a heavy leather jacket. I haven't removed the elbow/shoulder padding because I think it will be harder to get back in, but if one did that, I imagine he would feel like he was wearing a solidly-padded bomber. I'm a crotchrocketeer and as such I move more than your average cruiser; my guess is that I will keep the back armor out, except for longer and more intense rides, as I feel the padding will be sufficient for my needs, especially in terms of mobility (basically, I think my ability to move keeps me safer than the armor's impact absorption - movement will prevent it ever needing to be tested). Here's what you want to keep in mind when you order this thing: I'm a 28 year old 6' 180lb guy with a 40" chest and a 34" waist and I ordered the XL, which is really for a 44" chest. Had I ordered the L, I wouldn't be able to move enough on my bike, even if I removed the padding. I also worry because my arms are long, and I have no issues with my arms in this jacket, even completely outstretched. At the same time, I have sacrificed the neck cuff's snugness (which is quite loose) and especially the midsection snugness (which is wide-open). The Velcro side-straps might as well not even exist, because the minute they are cinched even a little, the bottom of the jacket buckles and looks stupid; if I can find someone to do it, I'll have them completely removed or find a way to adjust that part of the jacket so it's tighter without buckling (that's the price you pay for not being fat, fellas). That having been said, I'm totally fine with a slightly more open bottom/top because I get hot when I ride and prefer to have more airflow to less airflow. There's also an interior pocket, which makes me really happy, because I don't like to have anything in my exterior pockets, if I can help it. Bottom line: fantastic buy. I know if you're like me, you look at this and think, "How can a $100 leather jacket get such awesome reviews?" I've never paid under $200 for a leather jacket in my life until I bought this. I'd pay $200 for this jacket, easily. This is a steal. Oh, shipping note: I used standard shipping and it took me precisely one week to get the item from the time I clicked to buy it - it shipped from LA to upstate New York and was hand-delivered (i.e. you need to sign for it). My friend's first reaction upon seeing me in my new gear: "Did you steal Batman's motorcycle?"

Went way too long with the old jacket and finally cracked and purchased this as a replacement. Great quality, comfortable and completely warm, without needing a sweatshirt for a foggy coastal ride. I'm 6' 5" and weigh 225 and the XXL is perfect. Arms could be an inch longer, and that is the case with most jackets I purchase. Will get around it by buying some longer gloves. Great jacket, great price...will keep shopping here.

"THE ONE" Pros. - Price, very thick leather, lots of vents, padding, dual density, removable armor, very high quality, awesome fit. The price is unmatched by any other on-line or brick and mortar store! This is bar none. Cons. - Inner pocket could use a snap, the bottom of the sleeves could use a snap, back of liner could use a zipper or Velcro. The snap collar will get in the way sometimes. It will get tight around the neck if snapped while riding. A mandarin snap less collar would do. Suggestions - Order a size bigger. I did and it fits great. I am wearing this as a winter jacket and keeping in mind what your wearing under the jacket. If your going to wear this as a summer jacket it will be very hot. I rode it in the winter with the liner and stayed toasty all the way to N.C. and back. I also took a ride on a really nice warm day without the liner and it was very hot even with all the vents open. Would not suggest this as a summer jacket. Remember that this has a liner, mesh, and lots of padding. Customer Service - You guys rock! I talked to two different employees there and they both did a good job. Don't remember the names but, I talked with a nice female and male. Their knowledge of papal was very helpful. Shipping - Awesome with FED-EX. Got it in 3 business days! Wish List - Leatherup.com add some color to these jackets! This jacket with some red would be great! If this came with red, I may be tempted to buy another (hint). Note - Every one that has seen this jacket likes it. From Rockets to Harleys.

Great jacket for the price. No need to spend $300 or $400 at retail stores for "name" brand. I have used it here in Atlanta, GA with temp as low as 39 degrees at 6am and it kept me warm(the liner is not thick but you can tell a temperature difference when you remove it). It is also surprisingly cool when the temp is high as 85 degrees with 6 air vents via zippers. I am 6ft, 230lbs, athletic build and the 2XL is perfect for me, fits like a riding jacket should.... I have long arms and the sleeves fit fine. Buy it if you are thinking about it.

Nice jacket. Quality much better than expected. However, because of previous experience with a 3X jacket that did not fit, (I am a 2X in everything else I wear) I ordered a 4X and even though it fits, it will be snug until it's broken in. By the way, my son wears the 3X jacket and he's a 1X.

Charles K. from WORTH, IL:
At the risk of making the reviews of this jacket repetitive, I am very impressed for the price. I own a lot of biker gear, and this is one of the best purchases I have made thus far. The armor inserts are just as thick and cover more area on the forearm and shoulder than the Level 3 replacements, so an armor upgrade seems unnecessary. There is also a large back armor plate underneath the shell, plus what you see on the outside! The quality is superb and I found no defects in material and workmanship. The fit is right on-the-money for my size (I strongly suggest measuring your chest and sizing as suggested), and as with all biker jackets, the arms are a bit long since it is made to be worn with your arms extended. The look of the jacket is aggressive, but not so over-the-top that you will look "loud." Just a word of caution: as with all motorcycle jackets, this is not for leisure wear; it fits snug (especially around the neck, waist and chest), and is stiff. That being said, I doubt if you will see me on my bike without it! Good Job, LeatherUp.com!

This is a great looking jacket! I usually wear XL so I got an XL. Most of the jacket fit right, but the arms! (a little tight) I found it difficult to put on my helmet and I didn't get full range of motion, dont try to put your elbows together. The rest of the jacket was big, it fit like it should. When I recieved it I found a couple of stitching issues. I called right back. Customer service asked me to email pics, which I did right away and they replied back for me to return it. LeatherUp.com was so quick at responding with great service! I didn't expect it. I hopped on the bike rode down to a leather shop and had the stitching (in a couple of small places) done. When I got back I had a message and an email from LeatherUp.com wanting to know if I was going to send it back! Nah!, I'll keep it. Thanks Just make the arms of the jacket more flexible and youll have a very nice jacket!!

The quality of the leather for this jacket is unbelievable! Took my time looking for a quality jacket that offered all the features I wanted(venting and padding) at a price I could afford. Excellent quality and excellent price! For concern of jacket being too small, I did order one size larger(xl) than I normally wear. Can't compare size to a large but wife seems to think xl was the way to go! I am 5'5" at 180lbs. athletic build. I think a large with a sweatshirt underneath might be too tight. Overall I am very, very satisfied with my executioner armored black racer motorcycle jacket!

This is a very high quality jacket. The jacket breaks in nicely and is very comfortable while riding. The armor does not get in the way at all. Many reviews state to order one size up. I completely disagree with this. I am 6'2" and 195 lbs. and the XL fit great with plenty of room to spare for a couple of additional layers. This jacket is made to fit and if you follow the size chart, it will fit great. Please note that after a few rides, the jacket will break in very well and provide some additional comfort. For the price, you cannot beat this jacket.

Very nice jacket that arrived quickly. The fit is awesome: flat on the back with a good bend at the shoulders and elbows. The liner is plenty warm and easy to remove / reattach. This is the first leather jacket I've bought for riding and I would most definitely recommend it others. Good deal.

I promptly received my order and did not get a chance to use it until 1 week later when snow was falling in the foothills. I went for a ride with the temp's in the upper 30's and was immediately impressed that I stayed warm and comfortable for the whole trip of 150 miles. It was an added bonus being able to remove padding and make adjustments as I needed. Thanks.

I have had my jacket for about a month now and couldn't be happier. Sizes are right on! This is a very heavy jacket and is very stiff at first. Give it several rides to start breaking in. It gets more comfortable every time I wear it and is plenty warm enough for rides down into the low 40's without the liner. This jacket is very well made and I'm surprised at the thickness and quality of the leather every time I put it on. It should provide good protection if the rubber side ever leaves the ground and is more than warm enough. I have had other jackets that cost 4-5 times as much as this one and I prefer this one to them all! Thanks LeatherUp for offering great products at prices we can all afford! This was one skeptic about ordering "cheap" products online that will be buying all my leather goods from LeatherUp.

Jacket is better than shown! Great soft leather with sturdy, quality zippers. I ordered a size larger and the fit is perfect. I have gotten wonderful compliments from family and friends. The armor takes a bit of breaking in, but no problem. Keeps you warm in all kinds of weather. Price is unbelieveable especially for the quality! Many thanks.

I just received my jacket and gloves today and tried them on and they both fit great. I did however have to go one size up (3X) to get the proper fit on the jacket, but I kinda knew this as I tried on leather jackets from other MC stores just to make sure. It might be wise to do so just to be sure because every person is different and in my case it really paid off. Great product, great price, great service. I'm telling all my friends both bikers and non bikers about Leather Up. Thanks everybody, ride safe.

This Jack is great. The price is great deal for great quality. It keeps the chilliness out-and is a simple mean and black jacket that fits crotch rockets to cruisers. As said in the other reviews, you want to get a jacket the same size you wear. The Jacket has insulation and style to boot.

Great jacket. Well made, nice stitching details, and quality YKK zippers. I'm 5' 8", 150lbs, 31" waist and ordered a medium. The fit is right on. If you like it tighter fit, the order to size. If you like a looser fit, then order 1 size up. A few other informational things on the jacket. The zipper sleeves are not gusseted. It's not a bad thing, just different. The fit in the forearm is a little tight. I don't mind but if you have huge arms, it might be an issue.

I am very pleased with the quality of this jacket. The armor is well placed. One thing I would change is the collar snap. There should be two instead of one to allow for different neck sizes. I ordered a XL and found it to be very snug. I had to remove the back armor and liner to get a more comfortable fit. I have not had this problem with any other XL sized jackets.

Ya gotta believe this is a top quality jacket. The picture does not do justice. The shoulders are not pointed at the sleeve, Very cool looking. I got great compliments from friends. I am 5 foot 7 and a half inches. 170 lbs. and a Large fits perfect. Very nice, warm on a cool day in the 60's. Armor easily removeable, along with the liner. I bought a Helmet after getting this deal from Leatherup. No reason to go anywhere else. I checked Ebay and the quality is not there and no better deal can be had anywhere I searched. Thanks Leatherup

Overall satisfied with my purchase despite few minor problems with the merchandise. one problem was that on a man's jacket zipper was locking in a lady's type of way (right-to-left) and right shoulder elastic element was not ideally stitched on the edge and I was having to glue it up to close exposed edges. Both issues were not serious enough to justify replacement costs...

I have had this jacket now about a month. Excellent quality and very heavy weight. Zippers are all metal and need a bit of soap but very nice. The more i wear it the more broken in it gets. and the nicer it fits and wears on me. I am 6 foot 1 inch and about 199 lbs and the 2XL fits well with plenty of room. Actually I could wear the XL. Very comfy and armor does not get in the way. John Hickman Venus Pa.

I recieved my jacket a couple of days ago and could not wait to try it out.I have been both in the city and the highway with this and performs wonderfully. It looks great, the weight is awesome and the vents work excellant. It was 80 degrees and the jacket stayed nice and cool with the vents.I live in Canada, the true north strong and free ,and cant wait to see how it performs in the cold. Oh yeah and the price is a third of what I would have paid at my local cycle shop. I'll be a Leather Up customer untill the day I die.

The jacket is quite heavy-duty; therefore inspire confidence from a safety p.o.v. The waist is a bit lower, but that’s good because it covers your back. The sizing is accurate, if you normally wear a large, get a large, not one size bigger. It is worth the money.

Received the jacket, tried it on and one of the arm vents zipper broke the first time it was pulled. No problem sending it back, but that jacket and three others were "out of stock" when I tried to order another. No problem returning it, except I had to pay shipping. No hard feelings towards Leathup, I will shop there again.

Ok, I'll be very thorough with this review to help anyone looking into buying it. First off, great job Leatherup for shipping this packaged well and super fast. 3 days ground from LA to Austin, TX. Sizing-- I'm 6'0" and 175lbs with a lean muscular build. I originally ordered a Large based on the sizing they have listed, but it was WAY too big. I managed to fold the chest 3 times to get it tight. Also, this jacket is not for people with narrow waist. I wear a 33"-34" and this size must be for 40" in the chest, as well as the waist. The velcro adjustment straps did not help. Once I returned the jacket for the Medium, I was happy with the fit and the velcro straps adjusted well around my waist. The leather is very thick and breaks in well. Highs-- The leather is very durable, contours to the body and riding position well, ventilates well, LOOKS AWESOME, and is comforrtable. Problem Issues-- I found the neck a little high and tight while riding, uncomfortably rubbing my Adam's Apple. The zippers everywhere are very durable, heavy duty, but will start to unzip at the wrist while moving your hands. I find myself constantly pulling them back down. And finally, the liner seems to bunch up under my back when I put the jacket on, a simple button snap or zipper holding the liner down would be a great addition to this jacket. I hope this helps everybody. I STRONGLY reccommend ordering a size down if you think you may have the same issue as me. Safe riding everybody......

Excellent quality jacket...very nicely made...metal zippers, removable lining,etc...did not expect it to be this high quality....it looks exactly as pictured...you will be pleased with the quality! It is extremely heavy with the padding and armor....I thought the size was right on. I was nerous reading the other reviews about ordering a size bigger....it is made to fit, not float. This is the 3rd purchase from Leatherup, and I have been extremely happy with the prices, quality, and quick shipping!!!

FANTASTIC jacket. Great quality and affordable price. Padding is thick and in all the key places. It does run small, as most gear from Leatherup does so I ordered one up from my regular size. Even though its a snug fit with the liner...so if you want to wear a sweatshirt or something else under it, order two sizes up.

Excellent coat at an excellent price. I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. I originally ordered an XL but it was very small. I returned it for a 3XL and it fits great. Heavy enough for winter riding and cool enough for 80 degree weather even with the liner in. Very comfortable, fits snug and looks great. I looked at similar jackets in local stores that were not as well built and were 3 times the price. I am extremely happy with my purchase. To top it off, LeatherUp was quick and responsive to my request for the different size. I recommend this coat for all serious cruisers..........Jay Lickus, Surprise, AZ

I haven't ridden with the jacket yet (sleet and freezing rain outside, don't want to test out the armor THAT WAY). The large fits perfectly, as I'm 5'10, 190lbs. As with everything else from Xelement, the quality is astounding for a jacket as affordable as this. Everything is heavy duty, and the leather is soft, but still seems thick enough to protect against the cold, not to mention an unfortunate close enounter with the pavement. The only problem I have with it is that the elbow armor is a little uncomfortable, but that will probably resolve itself with some break in.

I bought this jacket a few weeks ago and I like it a lot. It's been very hot so far, so I haven't had the chance to see how warm it keeps me in the cold. While moving, the vents keep it cool enough on a hot day in Florida, but of course I'm sweating when I get there. As far as safety goes, the leather is pretty thick and heavy. I took a little spill with it on the other day and hit my shoulder. I didn't know I hit it until I found scuff marks on the jacket and looked at my shoulder to find a couple of red spots. I really didn't feel it hit. I sure it would have been worse at a higher speed, but I'm glad I had this or I'd be in more pain today, I'm sure.

I am very pleased with this purchase. The jacket is exactly as pictured. There is true value in this item since the price is far below that of other comparable quality jackets sold eleswhere. I have to disagree with the previous review which stated it ran big. My husband typically wears a large jacket therefore I ordered an extra large based on other jacket comments from this site. I admit the jacket is roomy in the shoulders, but waist and length etc are running a size smaller. The extra room in the shoulders is good for those really cool fall rides in Maine, allowing you to add a hooded sweatshirt under the jacket. A very small framed person may find this extra roomy.

I love this jacket! The leather feels great and I have used it on some cool nights already and it is soooo comfortable. The sizing is great and the sleeve length is long enough to cover just past my wrist. That is usually hard for me to find with any long sleeved items! The vents are just superb and quite effective in the sleeves also.

All leather, looks like the picture, its actually a pretty quality jacket. It is a little bulky and it seems to me like the sizes run big because I am 5'10' and 130 lbs, a small is a little big. I would have ordered an extra small, but it isn't bad. It does come with a zip out liner and plenty of vents so I stay relatively cool. I ordered it with a hawk helmet and I gotta say ,I look pretty badass.
