John K. from Pleasantville, Somewhere:
This jacket runs size or two smaller, so get a size or 2 bigger of what you normally wear. Im 6' 3" 235 lbs medium build, long arms and I went with XXL since chart indicated that the sleeves were same length from XL to 5XL. The jacket fits slightly tight on forearms and the neck area, which hopefully stretches because do not want to exchange for larger size. As the jacket goes, it is really nice and we'll made armored motorcycle leather jacket that you would expect pay at lot more. The sleeves feel short on my long arms especially when you lift your arms to hold the grips but gauntlet gloves should help make up the difference. It is well insulated to wear in 30 degree temperature with thermal shirt and even in 70 degree temperature without taking the liner off. Even though feels heavy and tight in few areas but it does also make you feel like you are wearing an armor and you well protected. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone, just take your time choosing right size.

Jeffrey W. from WINDSOR, CO:
My first motorcycle jacket and I went with this one based on the reviews, its looks, style, pockets and protection. I am a stocky 5'6" 195lbs, 46" chest, 36" waist. Went with the XL. Slight tightness in the elbows but I expect that can loosen a little. Otherwise, waist and torso fit are perfect. As others have stated, feel I got a lot for the price and am secure with the protection this jacket provides. Have ridden in 30 degrees and was warm.

Size fits true. No need to order up at all. The Jacket is a bit stiff at first due to the armor but once this gets worked in its not to bad. The vents on this are great, air flows in and out well. The removable lining is not going to help with warmth however... its the most thin vest zip in lining ever. Just wear a heavier shirt under if you need more warmth. Solid buy for the Price

This is a heavy & hot jacket. Even with the liner out. Speaking of which, the FIRST time i removed the liner, the snap at the wrist came off. I sewed it back on along with the other side just to be sure. Armour in all the right places. keep in mind, this stuff is all cheap, so little modifications will need to be made.

I was wearing this jacket when I recently went down. It held up pretty well except for the vents. They got torn wide open. and exposed. I ended up with a rashed upper arm because of it and some stitches in my elbow.

Wesley Y. from TOLAR, TX:
I have had this jacket for a few months now and have used it in temps in the 40s to 80s. It is a heavy, well made jacket and keeps you warm on cold rides and can be vented to keep you reasonably cool on warm days. The liner is easily removable for warm weather. I hope I never have to test the armor but feel better about riding with it on. As for durability a few months is not enough time. I have a traditional motorcycle jacket still in good shape from the 70s that my grandfather gave me. So if taken care of a good leather jacket should last decades. I would recommend this jacket to a friend.

AWESOME Jacket AND super quick delivery - even during the Holidays!! I live in the SF Bay Area, and even ordering it on Saturday morning, it was here on Monday!! I have yet to try this jacket on a ride (bad weather lately!), but the quality of the leather and fit are excellent. I'm 5'7" with a 40" chest athletic built (meaning no beer belly!), and depending on what I buy and which brand it is from I normally buy a large... For this jacket I order the MEDIUM. It is a little roomy with just a T-shirt under it, but my plan was to wear it in the colder days with a sweatshirt/hoodie underneath it - PERFECT FIT! Can't wait for a better/dry day so I can try it out on a ride. Hope this review helps some of you out there. Ride safely! P.S.: Since I just got this jacket, I obviously can't speak for durability, but the initial impression it seems it is build with good/quality materials and I'm betting it will last a very long time!

Xelement clothing tends to run on the small side. With that in mind I placed my order for a 2XL and it fits my 6 fooot 200 lb frame just fine. Jacket is well make and should serve me well for many years. Thank you.

I'm 5'10" 185 lbs with no belly and measured for a Medium. I ordered a Large and it fits well in the torso and back but is short in the sleeves. Too short to wear on my bike so I returned it. If the sleeves were longer and were not so wide in the opening around your wrist I would have kept the jacket. I even took out the armor and liner to see if it would allow the sleeves to come down lower when on my bike but it didn't help. It is a great jacket if you don't have long arms.

Howard A. from E NORTHPORT, NY:
I am very pleased with this purchase and this product overall. I'm a big guy 6 2 typically wear 2x in most clothes & jackets. This does run a little on the shorter side and the waistband happens to be a little higher than I would typically wear, but other than it running slightly small I'm extremely happy with the quality comfort and fit of the 5x. Not sure you'll find as sharp looking and feature full motorcycle jacket for this price.

John M. from Wylie, TX:
Just rec'd this jacket prepping for the cold weather. I am a pretty picky person and this is the first item I have ordered from Leatherup so I was skeptical about the quality at this price point. When I rec'd the package and opened it I was extremely surprised to say the least. Jacket is very heavy with thick durable leather. Zippers and snaps all seem pretty heavy duty but only time will tell. Liner and zip out are both very nice and constructed well and all the features are just as stated in the item description. I'm 5' 7" and 180 lbs so I opted for the large and it fits like a glove. You are not going to find a jacket constructed this well at this price point period so if you have any reserves about ordering one I would just go ahead and pull the trigger...you'll be pleasantly surprised as I was. Going to be ordering gloves & chaps for my girl next. Wish I would have gotten all my leather from here. MoCo is way to expensive and this just goes to show that you can still get a good deal out there. Props to Leatherup for selling affordable gear that's also made well.

Terry S. from WILMETTE, IL:
A pretty nice jacket for the price, and the leather and zippers appear to be reasonable quality items... BUT...I have a few issues. It came with a small tear in the leather on the right arm near the elbow. Not worth paying to return for a replacement but a bummer none the less on a new jacket. The sleeves are a bit short for me and if I went from a L to an XL to get longer sleeves I'm sure the body would be way too big for my 5'11" 175 pound build since it's already a bit big in the belly. Lastly I feel the arm zippers are on the wrong side of the sleeve. When in riding position the zipper pull is lying on the back of my hand instead of being underneath on the inside of my wrist like every other jacket I've had. Also the sleeves are so large at the opening that even when zipped closed I can easily pull my hand thru. I would prefer it fit a bit tighter at the wrist. My gauntlet gloves barely go over the sleeves and without gauntlets the wind would be blowing right up the sleeve.

Jacket fits a little snug as it should - I was involved in a almost fatal accident 9/2014 with wife on board my Harley (Hit by a car traveling 60 mph) on the road and I was wearing this jacket only injury up top was a broken shoulder on the side I was hit - the jacket protected my whole upper body from any broken ribs, chest breaks, arms or other pucntures outside the shoulder injury on the side strucked by the car!! Just purchased another back out there!! Thanks Xelement!!!

Great jacket for the leather, racing protection, vents, pockets, and side belts. 2 day delivery from local LA warehouse. It fit like a charm: just fit to the chest or waist (or belly) where both are less than the size specs. It fits great and I am very happy. I spent a few days and a few hours on the web looking all over, and I think I got the very best value on the web with a quality company backing up a name brand quality item. I have already boasted to my motorcycle forum about my purchase. Thanks for the great product and service!

This is a serious jacket, nice thick leather that broke in surprisingly quick. I definitely feel well protected wearing it. The only downside is that the chemicals they use to either tan, or preserve the leather smells like rotten fish. So expect to air the jacket out before wearing around people. As for fit, I am 6' 4" 190 lbs and the XL fits perfectly.

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. I had a hard time deciding on what size to order. After reading reviews I was sure enough to order an extra large. The only problem is they were out of stock. so I looked at all my other riding and winter jackets and they were a large. So I took a chance and ordered a large like the rest of my jackets and that was the perfect choice for me. the jacket fits perfect. I am 6'0 200 with a 42 chest. this jacket really is nice and worth 3 times the price.

This is an excellent jacket. The quality of the leather is unbelievable given its price. The only problem I've had is the length of the sleeves and limited cuff adjustability. I am a little overweight so I have to buy a size or two larger making the sleeves too long. This is more my problem than the jacket though so I still give it a solid 5.

Just got the jacket. I'm 5'10 180 lbs. 42inch chest. The large fits like a dream even with a thick sweat shirt. Super qualitty. Just gotta say I'm super stoked!! Stylish too. Thanks for a great jacket at a great price!!! Leather up has my business for sure! Not sure about the durability, the leather seems thick, and the zippers are all metal, I'm sure it'll hold up. The only thing I would ask for is more inside pockets. Overall great jacket!

James R. from Bolivar, MO:
Nice quality for the price. I am glad I went up a size from the large to extra-large. I was concerned the sleeves would be to long hand hang over my hands. With my arms hanging straight they are just over the back of my hands so when I reach for the handlebars they are perfect. Leather is supple and the armor does not bother me. In fact, even though I ride a Harley Road King and not a dirt bike, it will be nice to have the extra protection if needed, which I pray it won't! Thank you Leatherup for providing quality at a discount. Much better price then the leather at the Harley shop, which is foreign made as well. Maybe not in Pakistan like this coat but I did see china in a lot of them. I haven't had time to do anything but try it on at this point since I got it for Christmas but looking forward to trying in out in these low 20's & 30's temps.

Very well made jacket with nice features. The leather is soft and supple. The velcro at the waist improves the fit. I would like more inside pockets, though. (Only one) Also I would like you to offer tall sizes. I am 6'3" and 190 lbs. I ordered the XL because I thought the L would be too short in the arms. The XL is just long enough, but could be longer. That makes the body a bit large, but not enough to be unhappy. Overall, a very good leather jacket at a good price.

This jacket is awesome! Jacket is heavy, quality leather with ykk zippers which is a big plus and is very comfortable with or without the liner. The vents work great to cool you down on the warmer days. I ordered the medium at first and was a little too big in the chest area so I exchanged for the small which fits great. I'm 5'8" 155 lbs and I could wear the medium but I like my jackets a little more on th snug side. Great product at a great price and great customer service. I will definitely order from leatherup again.

Dan W. from Beaver Dam, WI:
I was nervous about buying a jacket online - I'm 5'7" and 145 lbs. and I always have a hard time shopping for clothes. I ordered the Medium and I am more than pleased - it fits almost perfectly. The sleeves are tight and slightly short with my arms extended, but neither one is a big deal: the leather will stretch and I have gauntlets to go over the sleeves. I am sure a large would have been too big and a small too tight. I look like I could audition for the Road Warrior when wearing this jacket: it looks tough on me! Definitely padded and armored. The finish is a dull black, the zippers are heavy and overall the jacket seems to be of good quality. My only complaint would be the pockets: it could use one or two more. I am satisfied with my purchase!

Amazing deal on this great looking jacket. All YKK zippers. Very nice, expensive looking leather great quality. Leather is softer than I expected. Looks like buffalo leather (not shiny, more matte finish) which was a pleasant surprise. I have gotten a lot of compliments. Inside pocket could use snap button but sewing on velcro will do the trick. Jacket not meant to carry a bunch of things in pockets. Zipper flap could go higher to cover the hole that exposes a small hole in neck area. Otherwise, wear a high collar shirt or sport fleece for colder days. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs., 39" chest and 31 inch waist, with a longer than average torso. Medium size fits perfect. Even the arm length and wrist. Shipment was super quick! Ordered on Saturday morning and got it on Tuesday.

R.C from N HOLLYWOOD, CA:
I bought this jacket as a daily rider. After reading the comments on the jacket running small, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my jacket (medium) runs true to size. I really appreciate the zip out lining to compensate for winter temperature fluctuations here in Southern California. The fit & finish was up to the standards I have come to expect from Xelement products (I own 2 pair of boots jacket & gloves). The weight of the jacket speaks to it's quality & useage of strategically placed padding/armor. Everyday it breaks in nicely, so I imagine soon it will really fit me perfectly even thought it feels nice now & is very comfortable. The ony qualms I have is that the wrists don't fit as snugly as I would like for my gauntlet-styled riding gloves that fit over the outside of the jacket sleeves. My summer gloves which fit inside the sleeve fits perfectly. I also would have liked dual deeper interior pockets. Overall, I recommend this jacket to those who want a sports-bike styled jacket in comparison to the traditional styled jacket. Thumbs up again Xelement!

John O. from LONGMONT, CO:
First of all, sizing: I ignored the advice to go up a size and my jacket fits fine, although I prefer the jacket a bit snug. The arms feel small at first, but it's because of the armor - it makes them stiff. I'm hoping as it breaks in it will be better. The finish is quite nice - easily comparable to the high $$ jackets at the HD dealer, etc. Had a bit of a chemical smell when it first came out of the box, but after a couple days hanging up, all you smell is new leather. The zippers, etc are all nice quality, and all seams seem to be well done. The liner is decent, but I would not consider this a jacket for very cold weather riding. Down to the 50's or even high 40's would be fine though. The length of the jacket is also nice - won't rise up when you sit on the bike. The sleeves could stand to be a tad longer, but that's being extremely nit-picky. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality and fit of the jacket. Of course the style is why I chose this one over the others, and it is GREAT! Looks killer.

The Executioner jacket is a well made product. The outer zipper is sturdy. The lining zipper takes some fines. I'm 6'3" in height, weighing about 220 lbs. Be advised these jackets run small. I measured myself for this jacket and ordered according to the chart. The jacket came and it was very nice but just way too small. I would encourage you to buy one size larger than you measure. I ordered this jacket for a trip across country and was not able to take it. I returned it for a larger size and requested on the order form and when talking to customer service that the jacket be sent to another address so I could use it on my trip. The larger jacket was sent to my home. I did not get to use it on the trip. The Jacket seems well made and I am looking forward to using it when I get home from my trip.

These reviews confused the hell out of me, I went with what most people said and ordered XL even though I wear L size jacket normally. You don't need to go one size up unless you are going to wear a sweater underneath this jacket. Stick to your own size. I'm 6'1" wear size 44 jacket and 33-34 jeans. It's a quality product, you will not be disappointed....

It is impossible to overstate just how amazing this jacket is for the price. Looks, feels, and rides like a $400 jacket. The leather is extremely thick and you can tell how serious the construction is just by the weight when you pick it up. Zippers are large, heavy metal. Fit is neither small nor large, though I took the liner out - the jacket is so heavy I don't know when I would ever need it, maybe below freezing. I have no qualms trusting my skin to this piece of gear. Thanks LeatherUp!

I am 6' and 220lbs. I ordered a XXL. Stocky build as I work out daily. The jacket is of superior quality and heavy. I thought it was tight at first, but you need to break it in a little. It is suppose to be fitting. You do not want loose clothing if you should ever fall. Plenty of compliments on this jacket. Comes with a zip out liner. Local stores had similar quality jackets for $400.

Two words...Buy it! The quality is amazing for the price. Also looks badass. Was concerned with sizing when I ordered it with so many conflicting comments. I am 6' about 225, my suit size is 46 regular with a 36-38 waist. I ordered the 2x and it is slightly I mean slightly snug in the shoulder area (the way it's supposed to be). I couldn't be happier with this purchase. You will not find a better jacket in this price range. Leather up has my business for life. Hope this helps?
