Pier M. from Blainville, QC:
Awesome jacket, very comfortable and best ratio of price/quality! The protection are very strong and you have a lot of armor all around the jacket. In the back, on the shoulder, on the chest and on the elbows. The look is insane too and you feel bigger and stronger with this jacket! :P For the size, I know that some people say that you have to pick up one size bigger than you normally wear and this is what I actually did but this is not the same thing for everyone. For me, I took the XL size and it fits perfectly, I am 5'11'' and 180 pounds and this was the right size for my shape. Normally I took Large but, this jacket is made a little too tight so, I take a chance with a bigger size and I was right. But, this is not working for anybody, if you have an athletic shape and you know that a large is the right size for you, go for it, it will be the right size for sure. If you would like to know if the XL is right for you, I just take some measure (Approximative): Arm: From the top shoulder to the wrist: ~26'' Body length: From the top shoulder to the bottom of the jacket: ~27.5'' Neck: ~20'' Chest: ~52'' Waist: ~45'' Wrist: ~11'' Hope this help and I did recommand this item, this jacket is wonderful! :D

Kris H. from Burnaby, BC:
Great jacket, and quality is good despite the price. It's a little loose on me, but I'm rather lean. The collar might be tight on bigger necks; it's just a smidge tight on me. The vents are great in the summer, and I love that it has back protection.

Casey W. from LOOGOOTEE, IN:
I am 5'11" 30 inch waist 170 lb 40" chest ordered a large and returned for a medium. The exchange was smooth and efficient following the instructions outlined, no issues at all. The jacket fits snuggly as it should and is true to the size chart. The thing was initially stiff as a board but seems to quickly break in and becomes pretty comfortable. I have ridden in 45 degree weather reasonably comfortably with the linner in. Very comfortable at 80 degrees with no liner and vents open. Seems very durable and well cunstructed. I love the jacket, but a bit bulky in the shoulders, the interior pocket is useless, and if your gloves have buckles forget about tucking them in the sleeves. Tough critic I suppose, these are not real issues. lol After owning this one I would not consider another. Would most definatly order again. Btw, the thing looks awesome.

Brian E. from Cameron, WV:
I like this jacket a lot. My wife worked in a factory making jackets and she even said how great the quality of the jacket is. The vents are great for warm weather riding and with them closed I stayed warm on a cool day. The jacket fits me snug but that's the way they are supposed to fit and will loosen with use I am sure bc leather does stretch a little. The armor is great and offers max protection and the reflector stripes are not noticeable in the day time. This jacket also has a great look too.

I normally use L, but after reading a few reviews I ordered an XL. Fits perfect. Great jacket for the price. High quality leather that would do the job if needed.

I could not be happier with this jacket ! I was a little skeptic considering I have bought 130 dollar leather jackets in the past, and all of them were garbage in comapison. Aside from all the great features (reflective piping, removable armor, zippered vents and liner, ect.) The leather is very thick and aromatic. The jacket itself has to weigh at least 6 pounds. There will be no doubt by any buyer that this is a high quality leather riding jacket. I am so impressed by the Xelement brand and LeatherUp.com. I am definitely a new loyal customer!

Rachel Z. from ARCATA, CA:
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend and was extremely impressed by the quality (especially given the low price). It is super armored without being stiff or uncomfortable and it looks fantastic. He is very slim, but has super broad shoulders and long arms and the size large fit him well since we ride in the winter and need to be able to put sweaters underneath. It would be worth every penny if it cost $300 and it's a real steal at the leatherup price.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. I read the reviews about the sizes running small so I went with an XL, the jacket fits perfect. He is 6'1 and 190 lbs. The leather is a tight at first but after a few rides it has loosened up. Truly a great buy!

Cannot beat it for the price! This is a high quality item. I got a 2X. I am 5'10" 200 lbs and fairly muscular. The jacket is a bit tight through the arms and shoulders, but that is the way these are supposed to fit. I won't be able to put a sweater or anything bulky under it. Great looking jacket, very functional. I am a happy camper.

I would rate it 5 star, but once again there sizes are off just enough. Luckily I have a family member that wears one size under me I can pass it too. Part of the down side of ordering clothing online. Is it really that hard to come up with a bloody standardized sizing?

This is an awesome jacket!! I was concerned with the fit after reading the reviews but I went with my normal size and it fits perfectly. I'm 6' and 180 lbs and the XL fits great! Keep in mind this is a snug fitting jacket by design and should be taken into account when selecting a jacket. This is a heavy, high quality jacket that for the price can't be beat. It's a little stiff out of the box but that just give me a reason to ride more to loosen it up. I have made numerous purchases from Leatherup and they have not failed me yet. Another satisfied customer! THANKS LEATHERUP!!!!!!

Strong, heavy, solid leather and stitching. LeatherUp is really the best thing out there. If you want a good jacket without a $200 to $300 logo, Xelement is the way to go. Great leather and good fit. I wear around an x-large usually and that is roomy in my Speed and Strength jacket. This one, after reading the reviews, I went to a 2X. It fits perfect, but it is not with everything left in (i.e. pads, liner, etc.). Great product and ohhhh so inexpensive!!!

Cathy S. from Innisfil, Ontario:
5 Stars because the leather quality, style , features and fit and price far exceed the price point. This jacket is a great deal for $119. I agree with sizing, I usually wear 3XL or 4XL if I want a touch of room but I bought a 5XL and it fits slightly snug but fine. With the lining in I was at almost the freezing mark and with a hoodie on , I was perfectly warm. Jacket is amazing but I have not been able to test out the air flow of the jacket as the temperatures up here are too close to freezing to try out the air management. Cool style jacket makes my shoulders look like I'm a football player. I just discovered Leatherup and bought two jackets and both are awesome so I am a customer for life, if they lower their shipping....lol Dennis S. Ontario , Canada

Darrell Flournoy from Fredericksburg Va.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!All I can say is WOW. This is the best freaking leather motorcycle jacket I have ever owned. Listen folks, if you looking at this jacket right now just stop looking and buy it. You will not regret. I can't believe I only paid 119.95 and free shipping WOW. Got it today and went for a 60 mile ride and it was just fantastic. As you can tell I'm extremely happy with this jacket. OH!!!! Lile most of the reviews said, go up to a biggier size like I did. I'm always buying a 2X in everything and listening to the reviews I decided to get a 3x and it was on point. I maybe could have gotten a 4x to wear a hoodie underneathe for the cold days, but this 3x is just fine. Great great great jacket trust me

Robert O. from RICHMOND HILL, GA:
Mr. Christian, Savannah GA I just received this jacket today, excited. After researching jackets and reading 100's of reviews I settled upon this jacket based upon price, style and customer reviews. Overall very satisfied with the purchase. High quality leather, excellent craftmanship, protective armour durable but flexible, inner liner comfortable, zippers top quality and did I mention the jacket looks awesome! Ordered one size up (2XL - 6'1" 210 lbs) as recommended by other customer reviews but still a little snug. Couldn't wear this with a layered look. Removed shoulder armour and back pad and this made it more comfortable. Sleeve length is perfect. Be advised this jacket is heavier than I imagined but that speaks to the quality of the product. After having worn this today; should have got a 3XL to wear as it is shipped. Overall, this is a great purchase. I am very happy with this jacket and would recommend. Thank you LetherUp for a great deal; reluctant to make this kind of purchase online but glad I did because there is no way I would have gotten this good of a deal in a retail motorcycle store. If you are reading this I hope my review helps.

Excellent medium weight leather jacket. I am 6ft athletic framed but thin at 175 lbs and ordered the large. Long arms are covered, shoulders are perfect for my 42 llarge size. Armor in arms take some breaking in but most jackets requir this. Completely enjoy this style jacket. Wore it in these mts at 46 deg and perfect. GREAT buy folks..

FOR THE MONEY THIS IS A MOST EXCELLANT BUY. THE JACKET IS STYLISH, FULLY-FEATURED AND HIGH QUALITY-REALLY AND UNBELIEVABLE BUY. FOR ME I WOULD PREFER LESS OF THE STRETCH BAND ON THE SLEEVES BUT STILL, IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE...I ORDERED A 2X AND IT WAS TOO SNUG I NEEDED A 3X REALLY SO I JUST SOLD IT TO MY FRIEND FOR A HUNDRED. I WOULD GLADLY ORDER ANOTHER THIS JACKET WAS A MERE 107 DELIVERED WITH 10 PERCENT OFF YOU CANT BEAT THE COST OR QUALITY OF IT ANYWHERE. IT IS VERY ADEQUATE AND LESS CONFINING OR BULKY/HEAVY THAN SOME WHICH COME WITH THE INJECTION MOLDED PLASTIC ARMORS. ALL IN ALL REAL GOOD PROTECTION AND COMFORTABLE, NICE!! KEEP THIS ONE ON YOUR PRODUCT LIST PLEASE GT IN NY

the fitting chart is spot on. fit is a little long for me which causes it to ride up on me at highway speeds. the vents are a life saver, even in 80 degree weather keeps me nice and cool. the liner zips out and makes it soo much easier to move around. But in a month or 2 i will have to put it back in.

Great quality, and great price. If you have read other posts you might see that you need to order a size larger. I am 220 lbs. very broad shoulders/ pretty muscular and I ordered the 2XL. It is very very slightly too large, but I am going to keep it because I like just a little room to breathe. An XL may have been slightly too small, but then again you can remove the armor for more room. I definitely recommend this jacket!

French text below. Nice jacket, heavy good quality leather, unfortunately poor lining. Lacking pockets. I'm 6 ft, 175 lbs, I chose the L size wich is just fine. No regret at all, it's a great buy. Shipping within 4 days to Switzerland.

LOVE my jacket! Ordered a 5XL, fits like a dream. Sizes seem to run a bit small, or perhaps I just have huge shoulders. Regardless, the leather is fantastic, soft but thick with that new car smell. :) Armor doesn't get in my way on it, pockets were easy to reach for me (to each his own?) Style looks cool as hell! The best leather jacket I've ever owned hands down. Thank you leatherup!

BUILT WELL. AN ABSOLUTE VALUE FOR THE MONEY. THE ZIPPERS ON THE WRIST SOMETIMES BOTHERS THE SKIN. ONCE THE JACKET IS WORN, HARD TO REACH INTO POCKETS. I BOUGHT A SMALL, FITS LIKE A MOTORCYCLE JACKET NEEDS TO. THE ELBOW PADDINGS ARE LOOSE IN THEIR POCKETS, DRIFTS A BIT. ABSOLUTE NICE VENTILATION.

Great value...nice quality material and design. In respect to fit, I thought it was right in line with the size chart. I have a 42 inch chest, 6'2" and 180 pounds and typical sleeve length of 33" and ordered a large and it is perfect. If you have a 43" chest, suggest you purchase XL as this would likely be wearable but tight with liner in. Hope that helps...buy it!

Warm, comfortable and fits perfect. I ordered a medium, which is my regular size and I had no problems with the fit. The sleeves are nice and long, and I like the fact that there are vents that open for ventilation if it starts to warm up. The collar fits tight and keeps the wind out well. One of the most comfortable jackets I have ever ridden in, I reommend it highly.

Excellent jacket... but very true about ordering large! I am 6'1 250 with a 52" chest and 36" waist so ordered a 3xl. I could zip it up but no way I could wear it that way! I had to go to a 4xl (56) I like the fit but it's still on the snug side.

Thomas A. from SARANAC, NY:
Very heavy leather jacket of good quality. I am 6 feet 2 inches, 230 pounds. I bought in a 2xl, and it fitts like it should, snug, but movable. Two things to note, one, it does not have reflective piping as stated in the description, and two, the stretch material it states to have under the arms is i believe neoprene, and if you look at the picture you will see it in the inside elbow portion of the jacket from just above the wrist all the way up to the armpit. The zip out liner is a short sleeve liner, and does feel a bit odd when taking the jacket off because nothing holds the sleeves in place. I find the prebent arm design very comfortable when riding, but stiff and unnatural for walking around in.I rode in 40 degree weather, and it seems warm enough with a layer ar two under it, and I rode in 80 degree weather with the vents all open ,which was tolerable, but a little too warm for me. Overall I realy like the look and fit. It is of good quality and is very protective. No regrets, would recommend especially for this price.

IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING ABOUT SIZE. I usually wear a large but I went EXTRA LARGE due to overwhelming advice from past customers. I'm 6'3 190 lbs.. long lean body type and I SHOULD'VE trusted my insticts and went with a large. I have a 33/34' waist and the XL jacket looked way too big around the waist even with the adjustable waist straps all the way in. It's definitely a fitted look with this jacket. Sleeves are not extra long so they'll be a little bit short for the people with longer arms. (Not too bad tho but definitely short) I HOPE THIS HELPS:)

Like so many others before me i highly recommend buying at least one size larger than you would normally wear. My wife bought me an XL for Christmas - the same size as so many of my other coats and it was too small - so i had to return it for a 2XL. Other than the size the jacket was very cool, the quality of the zippers, snaps, etc was very high and i can't wait to get my replacement.

I wanted to order my regular size, but it was out of stock, so I tried one size up and it fit very nicely. When I remove the liner, a size smaller might be better...? Very happy with the style & construction quality. There are so many choices it was fun to consider all of the alternatives.

SHAWN H. from DRAYTON , SC:
I wear a 2XL and ordered a 2XL. I have worn my new jacket both on and off my ride and it fits perfect. When riding you flex your muscles thus your chest, shoulders, and arms becomes larger. While riding the jacket wraps your body like a glove as your muscles expand. Just right and not too tight. This design and extensive padding is well engineered. It's tighter where it needs to be when riding in the shoulders, and chest. The arms are really comfortable because of the stretch fabric. So even though your arm muscles are flexing the stretch material conforms to a perfect fit. The last jacket, I purchased was leather all the way around and the arms got really tight while riding and a bit uncomfortable. The cut of the jacket almost feels custom tailored to my frame. Nice features are the reflective (which doesn't stick out - black so don't let the pic fool ya...looks white in pic but it's black which looks cool) pipping, button snaps, and the design of the Velcro waist straps. The waist straps go under instead of over. The leather is very thick and heavy which is a very good thing. Like all the zippers, vents, and padding. When riding with all the 4 wheelers who don't pay attentions to us 2 wheelers it's nice knowing your well protected in this jacket. ATTENTION LEATHERUP.COM .... This jacket would look awesome with some red!

Great jacket very heavy duty. At least as well built as the FXWG HD jacket I had but was lost during recent move. I ordered size one up and probably should have done 2 sizes since I like we wear a hoodie under my jacket. Extremely good quality. Shipped was incredibly fast. I did next day and got it next day even though the estimate was next Monday due to handling I guess. definitely not complaining! This jacket is well worth the money and with a different label you'd pay several times more.

This is a fine jacket and looks great, however I am 5"9" 190 and I ordered an XL and I'm glad I did. It fits pretty snug and would only allow maybe a single shirt or sweatshirt underneath. I wear a 46 suit so I strongly recommend you order at least 1 size larger than you would in normal US sizing and if you're on the hefty side order 2 sizes larger.

I'm 205 and 6-1. The jacket fit very nicely. The padding is a bit much for normal riding and makes the jacket more comfortable when removed. Even with the elbow and shoulder padding out, there is still plenty of built in padding for safety. The only thing I would say is the jacket I received did not have the reflective pipping as described. It does seem to ride a little high under the chin and took some getting used to but he neoprene collar edging helps. I took the bike for a ride on a 45 degree day with only a long sleeve shirt underneath and it was plenty warm. I'm sure when summer comes the vents and removable liner will work just fine.

Timothy E. from NEW BRIGHTON, MN:
Sizing: as other say, order one up. I would normally wear an XL for anything else, 2XL is quite right. I did take out the internal back armour for now, as it pulls up the back of the jacket too much (I have a long torso). Also, the elbow armour is too bulky, so I removed and replaced with other armour from a different jacket. Quite warm, and I love the collar-it's snug, but isn't too stiff, so not a choker. Really keeps the wind from going down your back, which is great in the cold. I was pretty darn comfy in 45 F, after dark even. Very nice for the price!

I am 6ft. 183 lbs. I normally wear a large, but I ordered an XL after reading the reviews. When I first tried it on, I thought I might have to get a 2XL but after wearing it a while, I decided it would be ok and the sleeves on a 2XL might be too long. Rode to work this morning at 36 degrees, wearing a cotton hoodie underneath and was comfortable. Ride home at 49 degrees was fine with just the jacket. I'm impressed!

I like this jacket. It breathes well on warm days and the vents can easily be zipped up while wearing gloves while on a ride, in case it starts to get too cool for comfort. The removable inside layer is great for cooler weather rides. Haven't gone down yet, but the padding in the elbows and back at least seems that it would provide better protection from falling vice going with a standard leather jacket.

Roxanne T. from GREENVILLE, AL:
This jacket was an excellent fit for my son. It not only looks nice but I, as a parent, feel that the armor is giving him so much more protection than just a regular leather jacket. The jacket is very heavy and made of excellent leather. The pipping on the shoulders and upper back are very visible at night. I researched these type of jackets for weeks before I decided on this one. It is an unbelievable bargain at this price. Most of the jeckets that are comparable to this one are in the $300.00 range. My 21 year old son loves the jacket and Mom is extremely satisfied with the price and quality!
