| I am 5'10" 165 lbs. Medium fits fine. I Bought a Large as well to make side by side comparison.
Tried on Large first and was happy with that UNTIL trying on the Medium. Not a huge size difference but enough of a difference around the zippered cuffs. Large's cuffs were too loose. Those that say wind blows up the sleeves at the cuffs might be wearing a size too big. Sleeve length is plenty long - no problems there.
Elbow armor feels a bit stiff when bending your arm. Not sure if this will eventually soften up, as the armour is already soft. But when ridiing I do not notice this at all. Zippers are fine and work smoothly. Not sure about the functionality of the vest liner. Color is NOT Black. Leather is as described by others, heavy & soft. Pockets are plenty deep enough. Armour resides in a velcro enclosed "pouch". It can sort of shift around a bit sometimes when putting on the jacket. Just have to massage it into it's proper location. I believe that you wiil be pleased with this jacket as long as you get a proper fit. |

| This Jacket is AWESOME, very heavy, soft, just what I was looking for. Im 5'10" 212 lbs. I ordered the XL and it was too tight in the chest area, beer belly area was plenty of room. Now I have the 2XL and can wear a light hoody with it with the liner removed but it fits best with just a T shirt. Great jacket and all my friends want the same one now. You will be very pleased. |

| This jacket is Bad to the Bone. The XL fit fine for me (6'0" and 210 lb.). The leather is heavy and soft and seems to be top quality, sleeves have plenty of length as a riding jacket should. After going through all the reviews I was thinking I would have to send the jacket back for a 2XL but I personally would not want it any bigger. The fit is snug but not too tight for adding a hoodie or a sweatshirt for colder weather. The sleeves do let air through while riding but in cold weather I wear snowmobile gloves anyway. The neck warmer is not big enough to pull over my face as is shown in the video but will work under the chin. The Zippers where another concern while reading other reviews. They are nice and worked fine made of metal and say YKK on them. I am not sure how long the glove pulls on the zippers will last, the leather on them is a little thin. Bottom line is this is a fantastic HEAVY jacket with the quality of much higher priced leather jackets sold elsewhere for 2 to 3 times the price. |

| First off, Jacket isn't true to size. I average L - XL. I ended up ordering the 2XL which will work well in the colder months. Thanks to all the reviews which helped me make the right decision. (I'm 6'2" 205#). Quality of the leather is Good and the Jacket works well. The only two things that kept this from getting 5 stars are, the liner, only a vest that lost 2 buttons within the first day and I get air leaking through the front zipper. This was the best combination of style/price/fit for the money. I would recommend this jacket to others. Armor is just a plus and you get used to it pretty easily. Oh, as for the sleeve length, they are long while at your sides but once on the bike, they are perfect. If you are on the fence about ordering, don't be, pull the trigger and get riding. |

| This is an awesome jacket! The weight and quality are very surprising given the price. This easily could be a $400 item. My only issue was with size. At the recommendation of so many other reviews I ordered one size up. I am 6'4" and 235. I have a pretty solid build and usually wear a 2XL. The 3XL that I ordered arrived and was nowhere even close to fitting. I could not even close the zipper on the front with a t-shirt on. I sent it back and ordered a 5XL. It fits snug, like a fine glove. I am very happy with the jacket, just shocked as I have never come close to wearing such a big size. Leather Up has really impressed me and I will be getting a vest next and several other purchases down the line. |

| I have one of these in an XL and it is a great jacket although stitching in pockets and around lining at cuffs is pretty chinzy but what do you expect for the price? Otherwise for warmth and features, it is an awesome value. However, I just bought one for my uncle as a gift and bought him a 2XL and it was way too small for him so I compared it to my XL and it is in fact the same size. Then, you have to pay shipping to send it back for an exchange which was like $22. So far, this has been a good company to deal with but exchange policy is lousy in that regard. I just exchanged for a 4XL for him. We will see what happens. |

| Very nice jacket. I am 6'2'' and 190 Lbs. I ordered an XL and it fit correctly. I have tried it in 38 F weather at highway speeds for over 30 min. and it kept me warm. The leather is thick and soft. I am sure that with more time it will work in well. I have tried on more expensive jackets and this one blows them away. This jacket is a little too worm (even without the lining) during the hottest summer days, but has enough venting to keep me comfortable any other time. If you are looking for a well built good looking leather jacket, this one should fit the bill just fine. The only negative I might have is it would be nice if the collar had a way to attach itself to the jacket when riding with it partially unzipped. (But for this price I can live with it.) Delivery time 3 days. Cal. To NC. Way to go Leatherup!!! |

| Absolutely love this jacket. I ordered my exact size and it fits just a tad snug but for this style of bike jacket I like it like that. The leather is thick and the whole piece is of very high quality. I especially like the zip out vest liner and the detachable neck warmer....very nice touch there.
If I had to pick one thing to call bad I'd have to pick on the liner. It's made of a perforated cloth that feels "scratchy". I would have rather the liner had been basic silk like most leather jackets have. Just my personal taste though. |

He ripped the interior pocket area that holds the "armor" at the elbows but he can be a bull in a china closet on things so if I would have removed it, it might have been fine? | I was very pleased with the quality and fit of this coat. It is a very heavy coat in the hand but once on it fits and feel great. Not weighty at all. I am 6 foot and 240lbs and the XXL fit great. Snug(not tight) when zipped and feels great unzipped. All zippers are smooth as silk and not the cheap looking silver one you see on lesser quality coats and jackets. | This is an excellent leather jacket. Leather quality, look, feel, workmanship, and comfort are amazing. I think this quality jacket could easily go above $600 mark with some hi-fi logo on it. I am 170 lb, 5'10" and medium size is perfect for me. I wear medium size regular jacket too. I used this jacket for a ride at 30 F temperature and at 60 mph for 1 hour with all zip closed and have not felt any cold. Only concern I have is the inner mesh quality could have been little better but, it doesn't matter. You can not get any jacket better than this at this price. |

| Leather quality, workmanship, and stitching: excellent Liner material: excellent. Liner workmanship: fair. I love the jacket. However, after showing it off to my co-workers I found one of the liner attachment buttons on the floor in my office. Further inspection found some of the liner stitching to be loose. I probably could have returned the jacket, but I wanted to wear it, not put it back in the box. All was easily fixed in 20 minutes with a needle and thread. For such a nice jacket/price, I can reattach a button.

| This Jacket fits like a glove. My coat size is a 48 so I ordered the XXL. Its a fitting fit. I'm 6'2" and 240lbs. I have a pretty straight torso(no beer gut).

Exchanged for the 4xl and still fits snug even with the sides let out all the way. Still a little short on my tall frame. | Very, very nice jacket. Stylish and cut nicely. I am 6'1" and weigh 195lbs (44 chest / 36 waist) and the XL fits me perfectly. The quality is outstanding - very heavy and soft leather. I've used it in temperatures ranging from 45 to 80 and it is quite comfortable up to 75 degrees. Over that, I found it a bit warm when sitting still but felt fine when riding. Ventilation is quite good and makes a big difference in warmer weather. I would definitely recommend this jacket to others! |

| Ordered a size large for my step-son based on the reviews other customers had posted. He's 6' tall, athletic, and zero body fat lean at around 150 lbs. Though it has some overall extra room, the arm length and shoulders are right where they need to be. He's only 17 years old, so should he decide to bulk up a little more... he can continue to wear this jacket for many years. We cinched up those side laces and it's damn near perfect. It even passed girlfriend approval! Based on this jacket, I could tell the medium wouldn't have made it. As far as the jacket itself, the workmanship and quality is stunning. No one would question the price if it sold for the $400 list... it's sure nice to pay less than half of that! My son doesn't have his own bike yet, but he'll still have this jacket to protect him when that day arrives. In the mean time, he's well protected to ride with me in cooler temperatures. But condidering what other people had said and the low cost i finaly decided to order this jacket. All i can say is im stunned....What quality, its amazing how smoth the leather is. A jacket like this in sweden costs like 500-600 dollars minimum!!
Considering size
Im 6.33 feet and weigh 231 Lbs, im bodybulder type in body so very small waist and big chest. I have long arms that are quite big 19.3 inch upper arm, So i was a bit worried the jacket wouldnt fit. I ordered the XXXL and it was a good fit on upper body, maybe a little little big. If i could reorder i would take the XXL but i wont bother :) The arms are long on this jacket so tall guys like me will love it and i do =)
Anyway..Highly recomended |

| Great! I rode in 35 degree weather and a light fog for approximately 30 mnutes with a light long sleve shirt under it. Totaly comfortable. Very high quality in all catagories. 5'8"@210. I ordered a xxL. Sleeves were slightly long for me but once on the bike they were perfect. Can't say enough good about the jacket and such a great" bang for the buck" compared to my local Harley dealer. Also had great service from the folks at Leather UP. | I was really concerned about ordering a jacket online but said what the heck when i received the jacket it was great but the 5XL i received was really small smaller than the 3XL similar jacket i tried on at the HD shop. So my brother who wears 2XL received a nice additional Christmas gift great quality but way small I'm 6'4 and usually wear a HD 3XL shirt and have some room to give you an idea and the 5XL was at least three sizes to small. |

| Very impressed for 60 bucks couldn't beat it. Heavy 6.5lbs, high quality leather, and good zippers. Like everyone says order a size up I am 5'8" 180 42" chest 33" waist, and I ordered a xl. Fits the chest and arms well, arms a little long or mine are short but whatever. I wish the waist was more slim, and the bottom front shorter but preveously stated I am not the tallest. Padding and armor seem to be of quality, hope I don't need to find out. The liner is not impressive but your not buying this jacket for the liner. Kept me warm today 46 degrees, will have to wait to see how well the vents work. Overall great quality leather, components, and from what I see craftsmanship. I would recommend, and would buy again. |

I'm 6' tall and a thin 155 lbs. Size "L" fist just fine.
The leather is thick and soft. The zippers are brass and feel solid. The vents are perfectly placed for underarm air flow. |

| This jacket is awesome! Heavy leather, seems to be made very well. It has thick leather, very soft, and well armored. The elbow armor is not stiff - it bends with the elbow, so it is pretty comfortable. I would definately recommend this jacket. FYI - I am 6' tall, 195 lbs, 43" chest, 38" waist. I went for the XL and it is just a wee bit too big in the shoulders, but the rest of the jacket is great, so I'm keeping it. |

| Great jacket for an impressively low price. Some details:
1. I wear a size M, listening to some comments ordered an L, had to return and get an M. The M, however, fits like a glove.
2. So far I've worn this jacket without the zip-out lining. Riding @ ~40 mph feels nice and cool even in direct sunlight on a hot day: great ventilation.
3. Fortunately haven't had to test the armor, but as advertised it is not bulky and stays where it should be.
Overall, it is a better jacket than some I've seen for $100 more at normal stores. |

| one reviewer, with similar measurements (6'3", 220, 34" sleeve) claimed his jacket sleeves were "way too short" - send it back, bro, you got a defect. My 2xl jacket fits fine, and the sleeves are plenty long. are you riding a Harley with apehangers? that may be the problem. Another reviewer claimed the side lacing was cheap, and broke - dude, how hard are you pulling on those laces? They'll only tighten up so far. This is an outstanding jacket, but a back protector would improve it. I'll add one. |

| I am 6'2" 175 lbs. I ordered the XL. The little extra cut allows for sleeve length to be adequate. With my arms resting at my side the sleeves are approx. 2" below my wrist bone. I ordered this leather jacket with armor in the elbow and shoulder areas for the perceived protection it may offer. I would have liked to see some CE rated armor in the back area which it does not have. (only has light foam pad in lower back) Overall it is a good looking,heavy, thick leather jacket at a fairly decent price. |

| great jacket! nice tapered fit, leather is thick yet supple. the liner isn't much, but with just a t shirt on will keep me warm down to the mid 50's. good ventilation, as long as you're moving and the temps are below 90 you won't overheat. I took out the armor in the elbows, but left the ones in the shoulders, elbows have extra padding anyhow. I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs and a med fit perfect...did I metion it's a real sharp looking jacket also? |

| The Jacket is well priced and well constructed. It does feel substantial in weight and solidly. I was surprised that the armor seemed to be simple plastic sheathing, I expected thicker plates. Zipper is solid. Vents are well placed. It is sized a little small, do order a size up like the others recommend. I usually wear XL, ordered 2XL and it fit well. I have an athletic built and it still fits. Shoulders are slightly larger. Now that I'm reading my review, I should've given it full 5 stars. |

| I am 6'3", 220lbs, 34" inseam, shirt sleeve length 37/38" and I ordered the jacket. It came very fast, looks and feels great but, the sleeves are too short. In the picture the sleeves look as though they go past the waist of the jacket atleast 5 inches but they are flush with the waist of the jacket. I was really looking forward to getting and wearing the jacket but, the sleeves are way too short. I called and ask did they have jackets for big and tall men, they said no you kinda have to work it out till you find something that fits. Beautiful jacket but if your a tall guy with long arms you might want to catch one of the show that come to your areas. The quality was excellent ...hope this helps. |

| This is a good jacket overall. Definitely order at least one size up, especially if you want to put an insulation layer underneath it or if you want to keep anything in the interior pockets. I wear a 42 suit coat, and the XL is a little too tight with a fleece layer. Should be a great warm-weather coat, though. Complaints: 1) The side drawstrings are cheap and broke almost immediately when I pulled them in. 2) For the price, the wrist collars should have webbing in them to help cut the wind. 3) And, the main zipper tends to stick a little. |

| Overall it's pretty good for the price. The elbow and shoulder armor is better than nothing. The zipper vents are great in warmer weather. The leather and zippers seem durable and good quality. The interior buttons for the liner are cheaply stitched and a couple have already fallen off.
I don't recommend ordering a size up unless you plan on wearing bulking stuff under it. I ordered a size up based on the reviews and it was too late to return, so I'm stuck with it. |

| I have had this jacket for a couple of weeks. I am 5'10", 32-waist, and 175 lbs. The large fits me perfectly. I even have room for a light sweater or sweatshirt.
CONS: The liner is only a vest, I am used to full arms, so I am a little disappointed. The cuffs are a little large and the wind blows up the sleeves a bit. The zippers are nice, but a little stiff. I hope with some wear the zippers will loose up a bit and work smoother.
PROS: The leather is thick and soft. The jacket has kept me warm down to 55 degrees at 80 mph. The armor is thin and light. You can wear the jacket as a normal jacket if you would like, yes it looks that good. Better than the picture. It has a nice tapered fit and the arms are long enouh to sit at the wrist when the arm is bent. The neck warmer, buttons in the jacket when not being used, a nice touch. I look forward to seeing how the air flows thru the jacket when it gets warmer. Next paycheck, I will be buying the matching chaps. The jacket is an excellent value for the price, even for one priced $100 higher. |

| I must say that at first I was a bit skeptical of all of the positive reviews of the leather jackets on this site. I did my due diligence however and shopped around on the internet and at a couple of local stores and decided to get the Advanced Armored Jacket. When I lifted it out of the box all I could say was "wow!" This is a great jacket and really does the job in thickness, hot/cool weather, style, etc.
If I would give any feedback to leather up it is to improve customer service a bit but I guess they stay very busy. All in all a good shopping experience and great jacket!! |

| I tried on every jacket I could find at the local motorcycle shops and leather stores. This one is heavier weight and nicer made than anything I saw in stores. The armor is kind of stiff and I didn't like the way it sat so I took mine out (it was the same thing with every other armored jacket I have tried on.) Without it the jacket is very comfortable and I have worn it on 45 degree days its very warm as well. Just buy it you wont be sorry |

| The first thing I noticed about this jacket is that it is VERY heavy! Extrememly soft thick leather and really cool looking orange trim on the inside of the jacket....very Harleyesque! I couldn't be more pleased with the jacket. Armor in all the right places and nice thick lower back padding! Great value! Made in Pakistan which is world renowned for it's leather products! | I think the jacket is great. My chest is a 48.5 and I ordered the 2XL according to the sizing chart. fits like a glove. I'm a 35/26 in the waist and didn't need to adjust the lace on the sides. I will say that the removable armor in the elbows doesn't work for me. I have long arms so it puts my elbows smack dab in the middle of the armor and it's uncomfortable. The shoulder armor seems ok though. The neck warmer is a nice touch too. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you purchase this jacket. |

| I'm very pleased with this purchase. The day after opening the package, I started a 1,700 mile journey from Dallas to South Padre, Tx and back. Day 1 departure temp was 36 and the jacket was warm with the liner in and the neck warmer over my chin. The further south I rode the more layers I shed and the jacket was excellent in 70 degree weather! Plenty of airflow and kept me nice and cool for the duration in South Texas. Day 4, I was right back in cool weather heading to North Texas and the jacket was perfect weight and warmth. Sleeve length was just right. I wear a 48 suit jacket and recommend 2XL. Excellent value! |

| This jacket is VERY heavy! It will keep you warm and safe, but it is a cooler weather jacket, you will need another jacket for summer riding. The armor is very heavy, so you can remove some of the weight of jacket by removing it, but then why would you pay for an armored jacked? |

| First and foremost, this jacket is awesome. The jacket arrived 12/22 and it was put to good use the following morning. I rode to work with an ambient temperature of 29 F degrees. Highway speeds put the wind chill below 0. The jacket is warm, very comfortable and does not let any wind in. The inner liner does not provide much insulation so layer up a bit when it is cold. This jacket is very well made and looks fantastic; it is a $400 jacket. Buy one size bigger than you normally wear. |

| I was very skeptical about ordering something so personal as a motorcycle jacket from an online source, and the low prices had me even more skeptical about the quality I would receive. Well, I finally decided that I would take a chance thinking; "what the heck," cheap enough to be used as a loaner, or returned as a last resort, because I was sure that a return would be such a hassle.
Well my merchandise arrived a couple of days ago, and the first thing I noticed was the weight of the box. When I opened it I was completely blown away by the jacket. The leather is all first rate and very heavy duty while being as soft and smooth as a baby's @$$. I am amazed that this jacket didn't cost over $400.00. The jacket feels even better than it looks, and it looks awesome. Best jacket I have ever owned and I've been riding motorcycles for 43 years. I can't see myself shopping anywhere else for leathers, and have just put in an order for the matching chaps. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY

| Extremely nice leather jacket. To help others out with the sizing issue they might have i'm 5' 11 and roughly 190-200 lbs with an athletic build. The XL jacket i received fits me perfectly even with the body armor in place. the inside liner and neck warmer are also very nice. I still have enough room under the jacket if i wanted to throw on an extra layer or two or even a thin sweatshirt. This is my first leather jacket from Leatherup and my second purchase. Extremly satisfied and will certainly be buying more products from them in the future! |

| This is a THICK HEAVY leather jacket! It is NOT cheap crap. It fits great and is very comfortable. The elbow?? (forarm) pads take alittle getting used too, and are removable. The padded elbow of the coat itself is enough for me. Shoulder pads are fine and cannot be felt or seen, but you know they are there. I would buy this coat all over again. Go one size bigger! |

| I ordered this jacket along with the Advanced Dual Comfort System Leather Chaps. Being picky, I didn't want to wear cheap looking leather, and considering the prices, I figured these products wouldn't look as good as the pictures. I was prepared to return them if my suspicions were correct. To my surprise, the jacket was very good quality. The chaps did look a bit cheap, but for the price, I kept them. I unintentionally tested both in a rush hour highway crash at 55 mph and they definitely saved my skin. I had only the shoulder armor in, but my injuries were very minor and I rode home from the accident. While I upgraded to Harley chaps to get thicker leather, I'm back here again to replace the jacket. The originals took only minor stitching to repair and I'm only replacing them because they are a little roughed up. For the price, you can't go wrong with either, but I highly recommend the jacket. |

| What a great jacket. Soft, comfortable and warm as the weather has turned colder 8 Oct 2008. Th general Advise to go up a size (from XL to 2XL is correct for my body type.... 6'2" 225 Lbs. Mostly I need a "schosch" more room around the hips and this jacket and sizing gives it to me. The arm length works well form me as I normally take a 16 1/2 by 34 " shirt size.
The back of hte jacket features a down-facing crescent that keep your can warm. The laces up the side I expect will allow me to lose welight (a goal) and ajust the jacket accordingly.
My only complaint is the combination of jacket and my body shape on the motorcycle would suggest a crescent (very slight curve) taken nout of the front of the jacket to accomodate my thighs as I sit on the bike.
Now, If Leather-up would just offer a pair of chaps with the lace-up adjustment in the thighs instead of the zipper or elastic .......... |

| after taking the motorcycle safety class I really felt compelled to purchase a set of leather garments to protect myself. I am grateful to have discovered Leatherup and be able to afford quality protection. the jacket fits very well; I ordered my normal size and the sleeves are long enough for my long arms. with the full body armor I feel I have done all that I can do to protect myself in an encounter with a cage. hopefully I will never have that experience. The jacket fits as good as it looks and seems to be well constructed. |

| Man is this jacket sweet. I'm 6'3" and and wear a XXL. It's pretty hard to find clothes that fit much less a jacket. After reading the reveiws I decided to oder one size bigger and man was that the ticket. Armor felt a liitle weird so I took them out for now. very heavy, soft leather,removable liner, 4 vents, and adjustable sides. what else is their to say? oh yeah, "AWSOME". Great job on this one leatherup. Repeat customer many times over. |

I know it's more expensive than the others but with all the features and protection it affords it is well worth the price. This is a heavy weight jacket that impresses me every time I pick it up and put it on. Warm when you need it and vented for those hot days when you need to stay cool. You'll always look coot wearing it too. I have a 45 inch chest, 34 inch waist, and 72 inch reach finger tip to tip, and the XL fits perfect! The armor is stiff and I removed it for now. | Tried on many jackets in a local Harley shop. Liked the jackets in the 400-500 dollar range. Took a chance with this jacket and I'm more then satisfied. Exceeded my expectations.
