Jose L F. from AUBURN, WA:
Great pair of gloves to throw in my saddle bags and forget about them until needed. Tried and tested in rain and they are top performers, no moisture in hands at all, and comfortable to ride in. I have not tested them in cold weather yet, since I just got them this summer, but the padding and tritex fabric seem to offer the wind resistance promised. I use a lighter set of summer gloves and keep these, plus my rain pants in my bags for the ocasional and unpredicted showers. Can't beat the price and performance.

Alexander O. from CORVALLIS, OR:
Good glove. it feels strong such that if i go down i think they will hold up fine. they are good in the rain i have been riding oregon's spring with no problems just let them dry out every night. fingers get a bit cold after 40 min. and after about an hour i needed a break to warm my fingers. (35-45 degree riding) it was 80 one day and my hands were a bit warm but nothing that really bothered me. good al around glove for all weather. get a size larger

Fits well, but perhaps I should have got a size larger, but that okay too, I just like my gloves a little on the loose side. However, I work at a golf club in the early mornings and its been very cold so these are the "cat's meow! At my age 69yrs., I ride on warmer days and I usually wear a Buffalo Hide glove that is very soft and NOT lined like these are, so I love these for work and on COLD morning they have saved my hands.... I haven't had any "BAD" weather yet but I look forward to getting these gloves out on the road this winter. I did order one size larger but the fit and feel are great as was the speed of delivery. LeatherUp...until my next order.

Have good feel for grips and controls. The fingers are a little tight. They seemed to retain the moisure the fingers got damp. Several tips on each hand got pretty cold. Victory Cross Country 33 to 44 degrees into 20 mi. wind at 75-80 mph. Took hr.and 1/2 at coldest temp. At 44 made most of 300 mi. had to change. Reserve for warmer days and dress-up.

Great gloves, well worth the price. Contemporary styling, water proof, and well padded, all add up to a great piece of riding gear. Sizing runs a little small so ensure you order one size larger.

As usual, I received the gloves from LU in a timely manner. The gloves look and feel great. I have been wearing them in temps from 38- 52 degrees and they have performed flawlessly. Hands and fingers stay warm and comfortable. They fit great over the cuffs of my jacket, too. I haven't been caught out in the rain yet, but I'll be ready with these gloves on.

I have worn a size S in Fly mesh gloves, ordered a Small in these, runs just a bit bigger. The gloves a re bit confining but they are warm. Have ridden in 45 degree weather on a sportbike. Hands were warm but the gloves do not breath well and they tend to stay wet as they don't dry all that quickly. A decent pair of gloves for the price, consider adding them to get free shipping so they end up being about ten bucks and you have a decent backup or passenger pair.

Jesse P. from South Richmond Hill, NY:
I purchased these gloves after browsing through a variety of other brands and styles. I needed something that was warm, waterproof, affordable, and stylish. Also, I needed an adjustable velco strap to fit over different jacket sleeves. After using these gloves for about three weeks, they have met all my expectations. I have road for a half hour in upper 30 degree weather and my fingers were not biting cold. The gloves fit tight over your hands to retain warmth, and still remain snug enough for you to comfortably control your levers. The lining is very soft. I have already tested them in mild rain conditions for about another half hour ride. When I got home, my hands were still dry. The gloves were not damp and I used them again the next day. I have Tourmaster gloves that are more than twice the price and these Xelement gloves surpass the expectations of those by far. Note: these gloves do run small! I wear a size small and a medium is tight on me. Do not hesitate to order the next size up. I will definitely purchase these gloves again when needed.

Nice gloves ,comforable , flexable, and reasonably warm. Wore them on my 20 mile trip to work this morning. It was in the low 40's my fingers started to get a little cold but not unbearable. I don't think they would be well suited for longer trips in temperatures below 40. dave

Good quality leather. A little stiff in the beginning but they are starting break in and soften. I have worn them for about a dozen cool mornings so far. My hands have stayed fairly warm into the low 40's. The digits get a little cold. I think for the price you cant get much better. I havent worn in the rain yet so I cannot attest to waterproof. The sizes do run a little small. I am usually between med and Large. I ordered the large and they are tight. The adjustable gauntlet fits over my leather great! Once again satsfied my leatherup purchase!

I haven't had much opportunity to use them yet because I haven't done much cold weather riding. But they seem well made, and they fit well. They're just a bit bulkier than I expected, but they still allow me to operate the controls easily.

The gloves are really comfortable but I think I ordered too small. I should have went one size larger then I wear for ski gloves. These are a little tight and that would be corrected if they were slightly larger. Dont' be afraid to go one size larger. Otherwise they are warm and have worked great so far thsi fall.

James J. from HERMON, ME:
The gloves are fine. Needed a little breaking in, but are warm enough on a high 30s morning. Have not tried them in wet weather yet. The only complaint I have is the way the Leatherup shipped them. I have bought a lot of other, more expensive stuff from them and the shipping has been great. But these $22 gloves were shipped Fedex Ground and REQUIRED a signature to be delivered! It took 3 days of back and forth with the local shipper before I got them. Why on earth was a signature required for these? But this is the FIRST issue I have had with Leather up.com. I have been very happy up to now. and would still order from them.

This is a good glove for the price. My hands haven't been cold, but have come out sweaty, which is probably due to the waterproofing and lack of breathing, or maybe just me. Haven't tested the waterproofing yet.

The gloves are great and fit well. The only issue I have is they are not warm enough at temps below 50. I may try a thin liner glove to help add warmth otherwise they are great!
